  1. No. No, it isn't. Unless you're mental.

    Meeting Today

    Spooky!
  3. ???
  4. If you flipped burgers at McDonalds and were offered the Global Group Chief Exec position you would hardly complain if you didn't quite have the executive authority of your predecessor.
  5. He's probably just a bored, fat (probably), fumey (probably), smelly (probably), letchy (probably) old journo trying to get a reaction. TBF who gives a **** what print rag journos think? Most of them are thick and beligerent and haven't the faintest idea what they're talking about.
  6. Er, yeah.
  7. Askham, Lowe and Wilde losing their money? Surely there's some solace in that?

    Siejes

    Absolutely.
  9. TBF Delap and Higginbotham are ****e.
  10. I have a crispy one under my bed.
  11. He didn't want to drive the bus. His employers could accommodate this without any major biggy occuring. I don't see the guy running around trying to burn atheists and infidels. I fully respect the views of people to hold whatever opinion they want, even if it is as cack brained, ludicrous, foetal and dull-headed as belief in a supernatural all-powerful creator being and I fully reserve the right to tell them that and to refuse to assist in the propogation of such beliefs. So fair play to the bloke. Anyhoo, the people who placed the advert will be happy as it's clearly generated some debate.
  12. I heard it was David van Dein.
  13. Given that there were fights in the Kingsland and Itchen too I think everyone should be seated in the directors' box as it's always nice and sedate in there.
  14. None of this is remotely mathematically interesting. IMO of course.

    Best outfield player IMO.
  16. If a winding up petition was presented now, the hearing wouldn't be on 8th Feb (Sunday or no Sunday). It'd be more like late March or April. More likely some sort of analogous step may have been taken. Maybe we tried to impose new payment terms on a supplier and they issued a statutory demand or something like that. That gives you 21 days to make payment or dispute the sum or is otherwise taken as de facto evidence of insolvency. 21 days from Saturday would be 7th Feb. Or.... maybe it's all a load of hocum!
  17. I've never felt more certain we are going down. In the great escape season I dared to believe we'd do it. Under Merrington and Souness I thought we'd do it. When we went down I even thought we'd beat Man U on the final day. I am certain we will be relegated with this manager.
  18. Let's face it, pretty much everyone apart from ST holders is "boycotting" now anyway, whether out of principle or just because they consider it to be a miserable way to spend their Saturday afternoon. I don't have an ST. I've been selective in which games I go to this season. Yesterday was last chance saloon for the team as far as I'm concerned, and I won't be going to any more home games unless there is a positive change in management or board. It is not enjoyable, it is not good value, it is depressing, it is a waste of money.
  19. The amount of times Donny were in space between our midfield and defence was pretty shocking yesterday. I'm not sure if this was down to lack of concentration or laziness from our CMs or whether there was some tactical master-ploy at work that didn't quite pay-off, but it was bad.

    So then...

  21. Anyone who feels the need to make things up in order to portray religious zealots in a bad light is a bit of a tool. It's not as if there is a dearth of material.
  22. TBF to the chap it sounds like he's agreed to drive the bus if there are none without the advert available for him. TBF to his employers, they've found a way of respecting his views in a constructive manner without any loss to either party. So all in all, a bit of a non-story handled well by sensible people. What annoys me are the gimps (religious or otherwise) who feel the need to join silly little organisations and then appoint pious-mouthed, clenched-sphinctered, matronly imbeciles to spout off.

    A plea

    Thomson.
  24. The problem is the stupid, mongish idea to vote for a ****ing B Team - who cares.
