TBF one pole has a much stronger magnetic attraction than the other. I don't think fan division is really an issue. The march on Saturday and the following support showed that in fact Lowe can be a unifying influence (albeit that the unification is mobilisation against him). Regardless, the actions, dicontent,... whatever... of the fans pale into insignificance in the face of the continued onslaught of awful decisions that has characterised Lowe's last few years of association with the club.

It's funny that the myth that we play nice football still seems to be going strong. I imagine most people watched us a couple of times towards the start of the season and had our cards marked from that point. The fact that of late we genuinely play distinctly uninspiring football seems to have gone unnoticed.

Frankly, who cares what his motives are? The simple fact is that if he is acting in what he genuinely believes to be the best interests of the club that is scant consolation and he is evidently utterly inept. I would rather have a malignant achiever than a well-intentioned fool. Unfortunately we seem to have two deluded fools at the moment.

Which posters are you talking about? If it's just FF then the difference is, as others have clearly pointed out, that he is a fan who has formed his own opinion which happens to have put him firmly in the "pro-Crouch, anti-Lowe" pigeonhole. He may post info but people are free to take it with a pinch of salt if they wish. Lowe (or more specifically, was it SFC of SLH?) employed professionals to pretend to be things they weren't and post phantom opinions.

Lisbon is quality for a weekend. I went to the Lisbon derby at the Alvalade last season. Some awesome crowd scenes although was quite glad to have been in the posh seats and not in the home end when the police baton charged! Wil try and go to the same match at the Estadio da Luz some day. If you fly into Lisbon you get a great approach over the city and can see both the stadia from the air really well.

Everyone knows that Saga is a more acomplished all round player than DMcG at the moment. I do object to projections like this though. McG scored four in our first four competitive games; or two in our first three legaue games if you prefer. That would have given him at least 22 goals by now. But it didn't. But it is about as useful to know as what Saga would have scored had he played in other matches that he didn't play in but had achieved the same results as he achieved in the matches he did play in. Utterly pointless.

Most people are united in not wanting to pick a left winger on the right, have Lallana doing nothing and play one up front though!
