If any dunderhead still believes the enormous bottom-sausages that are posted on here by the unusual suspects then they deserve one of the same in the eye.

I would like him to have a role at the club. Some sort of mascott / fan entertainment role.

Inclined to agree. If we can sniff a good fee it might make sense. The guy seems to have problems with "kicking". "Kicking" is quite important for football IMO.

They should hand the keys over to Rupert Lowe Esq and embrace their revolutionary new future.

Pantaloons. That is all.

I'm going for the relief, for the celebration, for the beers with mates, for the gratitude.... hopefully for some good football. I couldn't give a flying **** what the result is. As an aside, in the past few years haven't we found that the Ted Bates Trophy opponents have tended to have a friendly against a Prem side just after and have played slightly weaker teams against us?

That's just because people on these kinds of sites repeat things verbatim as fact. Not saying it isn't true, but I would not take the proposition that, "excessive repetition of a similar form of rumour increases its likelihood of being true", as correct.

Let's be honest, the only reason you didn't mind the lass taking the **** was because she was fit.

That headline is misleading. Due diligence is finished... so what?! The fact they now want to renegotiate the price is hardly indicative of an impending completion. "We are now making a final commercial assessment with information obtained through the due diligence process," said Al Fahim's advisor Ivo Ilic Gabara. "We will then sit down and negotiate a final price based on how much both parties think the club is worth. Frankly, they could be miles apart. "A commercial assesment" - sounds like it's in the balance to me.

Just got a big mound and a messy tw @ IMO.

Has anyone considered a Gus Poyet / Patrick Colleter dream team?

Takeover Latest Gossip - Strikes Back (The Sequel)

Has anyone ascertained what this thread was supposed to be about yet? -
Nathan Tyson is a player I've seen play a few times in League One. He's a bit rough around the edges but is lightning fast and can play wide left if needed as well as up front. Didn't seem to get much of a run-out with Forest last season. They seem keen to spend a bit this summer and, as we know, have acquired a couple of forwards. I reckon we could get Tyson and I think he'd be a good signing. We don't have any players with genuine "defender-****s-their-pants" pace at the moment, apart from a couple of the nippers. It's a shame we weren't in a position to offer contracts when McGoldrick left as we might have been able to do a swap.

If you pull out of the deal "due diligence will be complete". It means nothing. This guy sounds like a bit of a bounder really. I reckon he might regret going public so early. The question is, can he withdraw gracefully or has he now shafted himself to the point where he has to complete in order to save face? I imagine he is hoping to complete but at a much lower price than Gaydamak was after.

Last season wasn't it? Against Exeter. Not that it matters.

Too sensible for SRS f'sure.

I agree with the gist of what you're saying although I think the "feelgood factor" will still be present at the first league game, regardless of pre-season (unless Branfoot, Wigley or Adams are given the manager's job). It's important that we remember that, despite now having a dream owner: we will be bottom of the table for at least the first three matches, probably longer we currently have a squad containing some players that would rather be playing for a club in a better division we have a squad that contains a lot of players whose only first team experience is largely that of losing matches We need to be patient. Personally, I would be happy enough if we finished mid-table this season and laid down some good building blocks for the future.

Well, I'm sure it's hard for them not to be shocked at your stultifying block-headedness.
-
It's nothing of the sort. The people he worked under were supportive of him and he was then shafted and forced out by an incoming board. His memories of his time here will be positive. I've no idea if there is any truth in the rumours or not, but I doubt very much that NP holds this view.

Indeed, and they knew naff-all about the takeover this time round.
-
Jolly good. Maybe he can come along to a match again some day next time there is a "legends" gathering or some such event.
-
I am fairly confident that South Today have no more clue than your average paper-reader, message board observer. They knew bugger-all about the takeover until the last minute.

No, I will excuse those about to attend or play football. You are forgiven. I will not excuse those watching a match on the telly in the pub or those who consider a football shirt to be acceptable casual / leisure wear.
