Loads of street parking about 5-10 minute walk this side of ground. Follow signs to town centre from junc 16 M4 then park anywhere once pass college if you reach burger king you've gone to far for street parking. but the ground which you cant miss has large car park plus match day parking at nearby school or just past ground is parking at cricket club with cheap bar. loads of council car parks in town centre 5-10 min walk. Merlin pub is best away fans boozer, at magic roundabout turn left signposted Drove Road, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN1 3AF its about 300 yds on right 5 mins from ground. all pubs in town or on way from station won't let you in, especially in colours. saints have about 2000 tickets available on night priced £15

on reflection canoe club is about 300 yds away just before you cross over river. parked there a few times, no probs, apart from when we won in fa cup, but even the coaches got attacked then
-
canoe club 50 yds from ground if early enough or rugby club

Just back. Where do i start, our passsing game today was top drawer and how we were only 1 up at half time still shows we are not quite there. That said it was absultely brilliant to watch, crowd very vocal and got behind the team well. Even barnsley fans applauding some of our pass and move moments. Moment of madness from chaplow i think, from our end it looked like he took him out, though no physio on and as soon as chaplow walked he was up and about. Cork, llalana and work rate of lambert, yes lambert was brilliant and seaborne a rock at end although had few dodgy moments early on. Very proud to be saints fan tonight and for once my glass is half full.

it cant be said now that SMS does not create a great atmosphere

The away fans should be kingsland/chapel corner, end of!! Just think: They would be away from TV cameras, cos its always them and empty seats that you see on telly A full northam end of home supporters and the noise they would create. Keep them away from boxes and corporate. Easy to segregate concourse Room to park away coaches outside Please please please police and NC sort it out. Lock the buggers in for 20 minutes after the game to clear surrounds, many clubs do that to us without question -
Go on the pitch after last game, win, lose or draw, bring the players out into the corporate area of the kingsland stand. We did that at the dell for years with no problems.
-
oh bugger. hoping rearranged date would be 3rd May, only cos our last 3 saturday away games are brighton 900 away fans, brentford 1600 and orient 1000 away fans at least at plymouth we would get 3000 and have a promo party

It's so easy to make more noise. Look how the other clubs do it.( Leeds, Everton, Man Utd for example) Firstly make the away fans suffer. Squeeze them into blocks 48 Northam and 1&2 itchen. (it can be done with minor alterations and can be safely policed) Have small segregation strips.(not complete blocks) Close the two chapel corners and make chapel the family end. Finally and probably controversially, ban all kids under 16 from the northam blocks 41 - 47. EASY

AWAY............without a doubt. Tend to agree with above posts though why do some travel all that way only to sit in silence, they can do that from the comfort of their settee.

For as long back as i can remember, ie the late 60's, we all went onto the pitch on the last day of the season at the dell. We sang the players and managers names until they came out in the stand in the corporate seats area. Why can't they do that at SMS? Theres always plenty of room up there! At least that way we could: Do without the comments from an up your own arZE bloke who is an overpaid carpark attendant, Give the idiots a chance to go on pitch, Those that don't give a fig in the corporate seats can go to the bar early, and even the old buggers who find it hard to move out of there seats in the kingsland get a good view as well. Easy and everyones a winner.

totally agree
