A gun is an inanimate object until put in the hands of a human. Guns don't kill people, people kill people, they sometimes use guns. I am neither for nor against gun ownership per se but I think it is far too easy to get a gun and to blame a gun

It's free, Mrs D got it a little while ago

Mrs D has a sony ereader, takes an sd card and plays music, she's happy, I get peace

I've spent so long thinking they would survive I'm not sure how I'll cope if they finally go. What will I find to read each day if the PTS finally ceases to be?

The stretching of a very small book into 9 hours of screen time is the bit that concerns me. How can you keep it interesting without becoming boring? Did the first part really make you want the next bit to hurry up or is it a case off 'it's there so I'll watch it?'

The Samsung Galaxy Y is a good choice but I would seriously consider a contract. My girls were on payg and Mrs D and I found we were paying as much as we would have for a contract with unlimited texts and loads of minutes etc.

There's been some very good posts on this, particularly Turkish, but I still don't understand why people, gay or heterosexual, want to get married in a church when normal attendance is not, never has been or will be in the future, part of their everyday life? Why should any church have to provide this service for people who just want the big day with no real belief?

Mrs D here, very much this ^^. I was also bought up on benefits as my father died when I was young and my mother was not well. We had food but mum often went without. No holidays, not even school trips, no ciggies/alcohol or branded goods. I now have a daughter living on benefits because she has M.S. and it's bl**dy hard.

Didn't go much to my daughters disappointment. Simply couldn't justify the price for 3 of us plus travel. Went to many away games in the lower leagues but Prem Prices are not for football fans, only day trippers

Used to be with BT but without warning they suddenly upped the monthly payment by almost £10. When challenged they could neither explain nor justify it so told them to sod off.

All this talk of Tesco building but don't I remember reading that Tesco have halted building new stores because of the recession?
