Bit harsh to drop someone who just had a goal and 2 assists in the last match.
-
Good point. Janny B. also has looked very good this season. Not so much previously in the PL. Ditto AArmstrong.
-
The world's most overrated manager. That will finally end when he gets sacked (yet again), because surely by then everyone (except him) will wake up to the fact that's he's actually pretty crap.
-
If so I would claim, as it ended as a draw, that our unbeaten run would continue. A win-win as we avoid the extra match and probable stuffing at Anfield, and can focus on the league.
-
Don't look behind you skates, the two just below have 2-3 games in hand, not to mention Derby in 4th who can get within 1 point if they win their game in hand!
-
Promotion is never pointless when you can pocket £100m for finishing bottom.

Sheff Utd finished second on 91 points last season. Shows you how much stronger the Championship is this year. They'd probably be struggling to make the playoffs if they were in our league this season.
-
Sign up their goalkeeper in the summer!
-
Sorry Enzo, I didn't catch that. How many games have you won this season?
-
I hope they get us!

Yes but the question is what did we prefer, Ipswich or Leicester losing? Obviously it’s irrelevant how we play (except when we play them). I’d be happy with Ipswich and Leeds dropping points, and Leicester winning, each week as it improves our chances of going up.
-
Pound for pound surely our worst signing ever.
-
That's a good summary of the two options. I'd take 2. any day of the week.

Is he allowed to play in a women's team?

It’s us that has all the pressure. If we don’t go up we lose our best players and the descent into a Swansea begins. On the other hand if Ipswich, with a wage bill tiny compared to ours, fail to go up they can dust themselves off and give it another crack next season. Their only concern is maybe losing their excellent manager.

There's a Jason Puncheon joke in there somewhere.
-
That's true, but unfortunately 3 teams going for 1 auto place is where we find ourselves. Leicester aren't finishing below 2nd.
-
It's worth repeating that it's not about resting them, it's about avoiding risking injuries to key players.

They won't if we don't go up this season.

At least Les Reed didn’t get us relegated.

Saints 4-0 Sheffield Wednesday - Saturday 3pm
Dark Munster replied to goodymatt's topic in The Saints
Yes, and that is why we can afford to try lots of more ambitious attacking long and through balls. High reward when it works, so well worth it against opposition who are of lower calibre where we can quickly get the ball back, when inevitably it doesn’t work every time.
