  1. Lowe didn't save the club from liquidation by bringing in a billionaire owner. Hope you can fathom the difference now.
  2. Has he signed yet?
  3. Not needed. Just lots of dosh. Great thread BTW.
  4. Exactly. Buying Saints (or any other football club) to make money is based on someone with normal wealth (such as son-of-gun-runner down the road), not someone with the mega wealth of ML. It's something a number of posters here just can't seem to fathom. One day they'll see the light. Bless 'em.
  5. Essex 209/7 stumps. 400 a.o. tomorrow?
  6. At a glance, to plot the easiest route to the final (something that the Germans are good at )
  7. Let's compare: a "sugar daddy" who made his money the honest way, and fully funds the club with clean money and no debts, versus a "sugar son" who buys a morally-bankrupt club with his daddy's child-maiming blood money, who spends like a drunken sailor on players the club cannot afford and, despite huge annual Sky payments, a club that racks up debts (over 130 million) that they have no intention of paying back (including charities), thereby cheating their way to a cup final twice, and each year (until now, thankfully) robbing an honestly-run club a place in the PL.
  8. You mean excluding the ones that were wanted by Saints?
  9. Even without Hoddle?
  10. Has he signed yet?
  11. Me too. Trouble is, they usually end up in row z.
  12. Dune waiting patiently for other protesters to turn up....
  13. Very, very good question! Come on you HMRC! :smt038:smt038:smt038:smt038:smt038:smt038:smt038 CHEATING BASTARDS
  14. How do you score "points" in a football match? Pick the ball up and boot it over the crossbar?
  15. Good job he doesn't stand right in front of him.
  16. Which include Chainrai and the rest of the motley crew of ex-owners. And don't forget years 3 and 4 of parachute money.
  17. ML is a multi-billionaire. He's sixty something. He's more likely to make more money from finding loose change in the back of his sofa than he would with Saints. He may or may not make a profit when he eventually sells, but I doubt he if gives a shit one way or the other. I reckon achieving success on the field is his ambition with us.
  18. And don't forget 2 relegations, administration, and saddling us with -10 points in L1 by doing so 4 f**king days after the carry-over date.
  19. Those who don't know history are destined to repeat it.
  20. Agreed. And if there were other creditors out there who have watertight claim to the parachute payments, Chainrai and AA wouldn't be around. As for the unsecured creditors refusing the 20p in the pound, while Chainrai and co. get their dirty hands on the parachute payments, I can only surmise that AA has told them (the unsecured creditors) "take the 20p or we'll liquidate and you'll get nothing." If so, I just hope HMRC and the others call his bluff. CHEATING BASTARDS
  21. That's what he wants us to believe. No we didn't try to pull a fast one, and I'm sure he didn't really think we would get away with it. It would've been easy to go into administration a few days earlier. But to most of us, it is transparently obvious the ruddy-faced bastard, knowing he wouldn't be allowed to stay on, deliberately waited until a few days after the cutoff date to give us a parting "gift" of -10 for the next season. A purely spiteful action toward Saints fans .... something a skate would've been proud of.
  22. Along with not being able to win a penalty shoot out (unless it's against another inept penalty-taking team).
  23. I wouldn't mind getting them.... as long as it doesn't go to bloody penalties.
