You should make that into a poem!

Not really. Koeman hasn't done much since leaving us, and most would agree he was very good when he was here. Same with Adkins, Alan Ball, etc.
-
I hope so. Didn't he join Saints just recently, and after Martin had already been chosen? We'll find out sooner or later how much of an input he had in that choice.
-
Spot on. Thank you for sparing me having to write that. But trying to reason with the anti Puel mob is like pissing in the wind.
-
I would feel much better if that were true, but I'm far from convinced. Wasn't Martin in the frame before Wilcox was appointed? It may be that he approved the choice upon arrival (did he have much choice?), but for me this appointment has R. W. Ankersen's fingerprints all over it (hopefully I'm wrong). It certainly suits R. W. Ankersen to have it widely perceived that Martin's a Wilcox decision in case it goes tits up (again). On the other hand if Martin does well I wouldn't be surprised to see R. W. Ankersen claiming credit, and pasting it all over his self-idolising website (with his own domain, rasmusankersen.com FFS!)

While he may not be as bad as some Swans fans think, all signs are he’s at best a mediocre Championship manager. But Rasmus W. Ankersen with his f***ing spreadsheets thinks he’s found his Thomas Frank. Just like he thought he did with that disaster known as Nathan Jones.

Therein lies the problem.

Maybe they don't, and just want to squeeze as much compensation out of us as possible?

At least there's no shortage of toilet paper.

In fairness that doesn't mean much, since Selles was clueless.

The Department of Justice on Friday afternoon unsealed the indictment against Donald Trump and his “body man” Walt Nauta. The contents of those documents include 38 counts, including 31 charges of willful retention of national defense information in violation of the Espionage Act. Many of the documents involved appear to be presidential daily briefs that included classified information concerning multiple nations. Many of the documents are so classified that the names are redacted, but one of those not redacted shows that it included classified details about the nuclear arsenal of the United States. It’s an amazing list. The indictment then details a conspiracy between Trump and Nauta to obstruct justice. That conspiracy includes agreeing to provide false information to the FBI, moving boxes to hide them from both the FBI and Trump’s own attorneys, creating a “false certificate” informing the FBI that all classified documents had been produced, and making generally “false and misleading claims.” The next charge involves Trump and Nauta “knowingly corruptly” persuading an unnamed attorney to withhold documents by lying to them about the content of the boxes, expressly so that the FBI would not find the classified documents. That’s followed by two charges of concealing and a charge of conspiracy to conceal involving Trump and Nauta. Trump then collects a charge of false statements to federal investigators concerning statements that a “diligent search” had been conducted and all documents returned, when he was knowingly concealing classified documents. Nauta gets a matching charge to finish off the indictment. The indictment details how Trump allowed classified documents to be stored in open containers, how boxes of classified document tipped over and spilled out onto the floor at Mar-a-Lago, and how workers moved the material from place to place with absolutely no concern for security. That includes having boxes of classified information sitting in a ballroom where hundreds, if not thousands, of people were free to view them during events. Once the FBI opened an investigation, the concern about finding a place to stash the boxes increased, but it’s hard to say they got more “serious” when an effort to keep material hidden from both the DOJ and Trump’s attorneys included the possibility of hiding classified documents in a shower.

If keeping JWP is the difference between promotion or not going up, yes. But that's all hypothetical. We'll never know, and he'll almost certainly be off anyway.

I wouldn't. If rich Arabs with their filthy oil money had bought us, I'd be disgusted, and would tear up my season ticket (if I had one), not to mention unsubscribe from sainstweb and burn all my Saints shirts. Winning the league and FA cup, with a Champions league final to come, would mean nothing. I wouldn't even watch.

41 points needed in La Liga this season. Mental battle between 6 clubs to avoid the drop. Luckily we didn't have to go through that nightmare.
-
Indeed. It's very amateurish and Mickey Mouse. Same with the county championship.
-
Sussex 144 all out (tail wagged a bit). Hants off to a solid start, 115-0 after 11 overs. Hopefully they can take it over the line.
-
The quality of the squad is obviously a big influence, but you cannot underestimate how important a manager is in getting the most out of them. Not just training, tactics, etc., but man management. God knows we've had plenty of piss poor ones, two this last season alone.

"hoping to get up to £40m" Brilliant negotiating skills I see.
-
£12 billion I heard.
-
Amazingly all but one of those 6 Spanish teams are already on 40 or 41 points, the other on 39. Compare that to 40 points considered being the safety number for the PL.
-
Interesting relegation battle at the bottom of La Liga. Six teams from 13th to 18th separated by 2 points going into next week's final round of matches.
-
... with sideways passing.

We need players who can do a job in the Championship, because that's where we are now. Getting rid of those players before we get promoted is like putting the cart before the horse. We're unlikely to attract PL level players while we are down there anyway. Get promoted if possible, then worry about replacing them with players who can do it at the PL level.

“four more wins for Saints” and “realistic prospect” don’t belong in the same sentence.
