its as simple as that..

thanks. maybe. but then bender says he is from Brighton and I live in Hove. Much more upmarket so maybe he would feel threatened by my middle-classishness
-
Hey bender, nice story! I live in Hove. Many mates wear the stripey blue shirts too. Putting up with the ceaseless drivel about their new shiny stadium day-in, day-out is beginning to puss me off. Do you get to many games?

Season ticket waiting list at Man Yoo was too long so I had to settle for Saints.

yes, my darling dune. I am trying to fit in with the Guardinistas. That is precisely why I affixed the sexual longing of your avatar to a fat, stinky, poorly shaven lump of a female..... ;-)

Indeed. I should have mentioned above that the only charities that always get me reaching for my wallet are: Poppies (Royal British Legion), RNLI, H4H.

And what, exactly, is wrong with whippets? Lovely breed of hound. Very intelligent and loving.

I got a two week ban the other day because I posted a fat old naked granny and said it was a bird for dune. Was told it was pornographic. There was no way that it was porno. Not sure what sort of porn the mods look at but that was more beached whale than porno.

The Takabisha takes its first passengers

feking hell. Nice! What happens if an earthquake hits just when you get to the top of the big drop? All the young'uns can pretend to me kamikaze pilots and picture a US ship below them while they fall... -
Portsmouth for a couple of weeks. I've only got 30 quid to spend on the hotel and I like traveling to the third world. Already booked in with the doctor for my booster jabs.

I give to charity but only when I want to. I ***NEVER*** even give those annoying 'chuggers' on the street the time of day. You know the ones, with clipboard in hand who jump out at you and block your path. Feking parasites. Hate them. I give to a local church sometimes which runs a very good homeless 'place' on Saturdays - food, advice, company and if they want it then prayers etc. Always look favourably on homeless charities - been too close to being on the streets myself on more than one occasion. It can happen to anyone. Don't give to overseas development charities like Oxfam, Save Children etc. They are too big and have too much overhead and I know from first hand experience working in East Africa that not all the money reaches the intended target and even when it does the project - like a new well and pump - usually ends up being neglected and/or stolen for parts. Call me cynical but I have seen it. I make an exception to immediate disaster relief, then I usually hand over a tenner. In my experience, and especially in the third world, if you want to maximize the chances of the money doing good in the intended way then give it to women to administer. I mean the local women. The men will just be lazy sods and drink it. There is good evidence from micro-loan agencies such as Kiva that this is the case. In fact, check out http://www.kiva.org. I also give a standard order of £4 a month to The New Economics Foundation http://www.neweconomics.org/ which is a UK think tank, so not a charity.

I predict we will either win, lose or draw all of our games next season.

Xavi would not be pure class in a league below the one he is currently in. Nor would L. Messi. Lest we forget - and we forget too often - snazzy footballers can ponce around all they darn well want but with out the other 10 men they are useless. It is a team sport. Put Xavi in Toton's side, Eastleigh's side or Lewes' Side and no doubt he will do some fancy crap with the ball but other than selling out the stands he won't do much else. I contend. Put Guly, with his obvious skills and well-proven ability and work ethic into a squad with a dynamic midfield and pro-active defense which distributes the ball well and he is, and will be world class. ... Time will tell.
-
Guly, pure class. End of. Will do us proud this season. Mark my words or make me eat them. 'specially with Cork's fancy footwork and quick passing....
-
like I said in another fred, will u please stop referring to KK as KK. The young'uns have no idea to what, which or whom you refer.
-
sorry, did you follow Saints last season???
-
just about. Marginal, but just about.
-
Oh thank Mary, Peter, Jesus and all The Saints for that! It was not a nice dream..
-
Is he? I woke up in a cold sweat in the early hours thinking he was only a loanee. Do we still got that Brazilian or does our Nige need to get the Lady Shave out and gives us another one?

Scott Steedman quits as Head of Sales & Marketing...
1976_Child replied to saintscottofthenortham's topic in The Saints
He left the club because the club has no ambition. He joined thinking he would be head of sales and marketing of an ambitious club but barely a year into the job it was apparent to him that the club had no ambition whatsoever. The lack of summer signings was the last straw so he decided to move on. -
Well at least in Southampton we can spell 'PompEy'

yes, unfortunately there are plenty of plebs on this forum. Quite how these lower classes can afford computers is beyond me.

Golf is the most ridiculous non-sport ever. It is a total w@nk-a-thon. If I was world dictator I would not hesitate to send all the supine t0ssers who play golf to the gas chambers. What with the chronic lack of housing in this country it should be mandated from the government that all golf courses be bulldozed and built on. Kill two birds with one stone; more houses and the end to the most disastrously turd-like 'sport' ever conceived.

probably just meant he wants to buy in some more marrows.
