I'm sure clyne doesn't fancy sharing the rb position this year and guessing chambers would expect to be played a lot this season, and if he doesn't play much he won't be worth anywhere near 12 million next summer. I would rather have clyne at rb, proven and coming in to his prime, I'm guessing the management think the same

Exactly! And I'm afraid it's more likely that all the players that are leaving and mp actually want/wanted to go! This doesn't look like an assets strip to me, more like letting people go who want to leave. The real indication will be who our new manager is, and what players we get in, though tbh, I would only want a few quality replacements so as to leave space for our youth to progress in to the first team

Going to first saints match live for ages, making the short trip from boldon, can't wait

The kind of game been dreaming of for years, saints sitting in a top spot and taking on one of the big boys to compete for position, and to see how far we've really come, could be a club defining match, can't wait.

Not sure what he sadly died of, but looking yellow (Jaundice) is usually a sign of liver probs.

I'm up in South Tyneside and we have had a bit more snow last couple of days, but not much really...though it is ******* cold. We were forecasted a bucketload yesterday but it didn't arrive. Hopefully it stays the same till Saturday, really looking forward to this one.

They make the cranes just down the road from me, looks pretty cool sometimes when there are a few out by the river, though they're all yellow.

To be expected really, a defensive partnership getting used to each other and a new forward partnership, so considering this it is a good away point. Hopefully things will start to gel by next game and we'll still win the 15 we need.

I'll be there, making the short trip down from south tyneside. Those of you wanting to go on to Newcastle after, I think there is a later train to Sunderland, and from there you can get the metro to the toon.

As a side note, i was driving past the stadium of light yesterday and noticed they were advertising part season tickets (10 games) for sale. Could it be a good idea for saints to do this, especially if we continue out winning ways on Saturday?

Anyone else having money took off them from a company called level 3 DOM? My accound shows thats 3.99 has been going to them since the company WP online sports (old saintstv I think) stopped taking money from my account. The new company running saints tv say that this is not them.

I think he'll only be here short term till a replacement is sorted out. Fair play to the guy for sticking around, but every season we are outside of the prem = us missing out on those prem megabucks as well as low gates at sms. lower shirt sales etc etc. Get someone in with the proven experience to get us out of this league at the first attempt I say, which is also hopefully what the new owner says. :-)
