I have said for months we will need 87 points to go up - it is starting to look as though we could go up on less as WHU seem determined to avoid automatic promotion - i see they now have Brighton at their place after they have drawn with Reading tomorrow. I do now think we can do this as champions.

Well it would be great if Brum caught West ham because that would mean we got promoted. A less importnat benefit woudl be that it would also wipe the smiles off the smug faces of West ham who seem to think promotion is theirs by right.

Great atmosphere - dreadful referee - loss of MS was huge - very poor midfield especially in second half - what was point of bringing SDR on and then ignoring him? Two wonder goals by Pompey - wonder saves by their keeper - overall disappointing result but could have been worse. Let's hope we buck ouir ideas up before tomorrow.

The draw yesterday certainly did not help us - I am hoping for 3 points tomorrow but given what i saw yesterday i am not that confident.
