  1. Here in France there is talk that some of the meat used from Romania contained donkey meat and aged work horses. To date in France there has been no talk of horse meat being used in burgers. Still to come !!! I recall 40 years ago over here China was exporting frozen cats as rabbit to France. I cannot believe in this day and age our food is still so uncontrolled and open to abuse.

  3. What an incredible start to the Chinese New Year of the Snake!!!!!!!!! HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE WHO BLEEDS "RED AND WHITE" This win has to be one of the best performances by a |Saints side in many a year. Who'd have believed these players had it in the a couple of months back. No Ramirez, no Shaw or Fonté but a force, energy that has one of the best performing sides in the Premiership. Senor Pochettino. I salute you and your back up team for what you have achieved in the past 3 weeks. The mind boggles what you will achieve in the future "_

  5. I have Minty to thank with Marchin'In for my introduction to online forums and that CrabbieBalls or whatever he calls himself Minty is as then a true Saints legend for his input and all the hard work he did from way back then. Ended up giving him the nickname Pitbull for the way he can be quick on the update and the nip he gives you on the ankles hahaha I was there on Network 54 and many will recall keithwj, the legend who vanished. Fantastic to see the likes of another legend Tyler Duran is still around and none other than Turkish What happened to keithwj resulted in a ,major inquest and even websites I loved keithwj and I hate keithj turning up on the web http://www.network54.com/Forum/166064/message/1022068543/What+ever+happened+to+keithwj- Then there was THE PLANET SAINTS MESSAGE BOARD still there to read today. http://www.network54.com/Forum/166064/ I joined Keith's Saintsforever as ART on the early days and was top poster after Keith by the time it closed after the Amy affair which I didn't pay much attention too as I took up abode on the Farmer and Dune Foreversaints in the light of Wilde and Co. It was a sad day when Keith threw in the towel. People may have their opinions but I've never come across anyone who ran and put in the dedication as Keith Legg and Saintsforever. Shame that the site got pulled as today it would stand as an epitaph to his hard work and what being a Saints supporter really means. Still a number of mysteries left to be resolved, and to name and shame some of the cowards who drove Keith to giving up the best ever fans forum and website. I may add I was privilege to early IP changing technology back at the time Delgado wreaked havoc with our destiny. I forget names I created to post under but did string everyone along for weeks with postings from South America posing as a close confident of Delgado. I would spend the night hours scanning early editions of South American papers, translating and posting exclusive disclosures that often didn't appear in the European papers till 48 hours later. As ART my insider postings and banter with NORM., ( that renegade Mick imported from across the waters :) ) one of the best posters and Saints supporters ever If you're reading Keith, sincerest thanks for everything. You never deserved all the harassment you encountered and are sorely missed on the big wide web ♥
  6. I've eaten horsement here in France for close to 40 years. No other meat on the market more healthy, lean and tasty. If you like Fillet steak there is little difference with steak of horse meat. My late father was raised with horses and joined the cavalry in WWII. The thought of eating horse was his greatest aversion yet when in France he was served a horse steak to which he said it was the best steak he'd ever eaten. He never was told that it was horse. The problem with the current situation is the medication found in this horse meat of criminal origin in Poland unfit for human consumption . The whole of Europe is flooded with it believing the meat to be Irish beef. The same old story if importing from one country and then selling as from that country. Good news insects high in protein, common in Asia, are soon to enter the European food market as filler to many meat dishes
  7. Living overseas and rarely talking English I tend not to put across too well, what I'm trying to say. You are right as it seems Edward wasn't married to their mother at the time. I see, however, that Henry VII, who married their sister Elizabeth of York, had Parliament declare all Edward IV's children legitimate Seems requests have been named a number of times but the Queen together with Westminster Abbey have refused. The reason seems to be that if they turned out not to be the two princes, what would they do about reburying the bodies.
  8. Just read the next project is to find the bones of Alfred the Great in Winchester. Being so close to home, this should bring a lot of interest to the area. http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/shortcuts/2013/feb/05/will-dig-up-alfred-the-great
  9. Reconstruction of how Richard actually looked
  10. We should do our own version of the Dad's Army theme to "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU"RE KIDDING MISTER CORTESE" I'd love to see a poll to know how many actually believe his b u ll s h i t e on the club's future.
  11. 58,000 at 60 quid a time? Who are you kidding Mister Cortese? You must be certain of Pompey vanishing off the scene.
  12. I'd lay odds on it being Saints and the corrupt dealings of Klaus and unmentioned colleagues. Could even imagine his testimony to FIFA disclosed who he was involved with!!! No wonder our results in his final two years we so odd and got us relegated.
  13. High time to do DNA tests on the two boys bodies found some years ago behind walls in the Tower of London to see if they were indeed the true sons of Edward IVth and not illegitimate as proclaimed by Richard's supporters So many other mysteries of our past to untangle.
  14. Tears filled my eyes as I listened to the WHO this morning to a song that sends out real glory to all Marcus LIEBHERR did for us Saints supporters.. Right behind you I see the millions. On you I see the glory. From you I get opinions. From you I get the story.(onwards & upwards) Listening to you I get the music. Gazing at you I get the heat (heat). Following you I climb the mountain. I get excitement at your feet! Listening to you I get the music. Gazing at you I get the heat. Following you I climb the mountain. I get excitement at your feet! Right behind you I see the millions. On you I see the glory. From you I get opinions. From you I get the story. Listening to you I get the music. Gazing at you I get the heat. Following you I climb the mountain. I get excitement at your feet!
  15. Had we flashed 10 million Celtic's way on Gary Hooper instead of wasting 12 million on Ramirez, we'd be winning games like today. Ramirez is the worst purchase Saints have made since David Burnside (RIP) back in Ted's day. Wondering whether Ali Dia wasn't as good. Points tally worse than at same period in 2005.
  16. Word on the web is that Notts Forest are about to fire Alex McLeish and install Nigel Atkins as manager. For me this would be a great move for Nigel.
  17. What a f* ck ing touchline inspiration MP is. From 2 stooges under Atkins to 5 under MP.
  18. On a two year contract MP will load the club with foreigners, fail miserably and then be fired leaving us in one almighty mess. Were hr to succeed he's be signed up by the likes of som top International club. We are losers either way.
  19. Lucas Biglia, that's the guy that was mentioned
  20. Talksport says we've had a bid accepted for some guy called "LUCAS ?????"
  21. If as Saint_Chqrlie keeps trying to get us to believe by repetitive posts non will come in, it just goes to show that MP's appointment on a 2 year contract, the promises of European football are just ****ing in the wind b Nicola Cotesé. Note: Based on Saint-Charlies repeat posts we're bound to sign players. He's always wrong when he posts repeatedly the same thing, convinced he's ITK
  22. This has to be the worse ever Transfer Window in all the 60 year I've followed Saints. Not only have we lost the best ever, decent and loyal manager we ever employed but we go into the last part of the season with the likes of Steven de Ridder very much part of the new manager's plans. We could have at least hoped that Reed would have enured we got shot of all the uninterested and incapable dregs still on the books Disgusted at all the talk and no action.
  23. As I posted at the start of the window, had we intended signing anyone we'd have had them lined up from day one.. Saint Charlie, who nowadays seems to know everything, disagreed. Well we've been promised everything bin sacking Adkins. Action not words speak volumes and MP has a lot to come to grips with in believing Cortese and the chief stooge Reed.
  24. Nigel deserves a break and a rest and is in poll position for a top job with a club that has big finance. No rush and the way things are going there, he'd even do better at Chelsea that the current sham management.
  25. I am pretty sure over the past few months Les Reed would have been sounding out all of the players as to how they felt about Nigel's abilities, whether the club would do well to bring in someone else. I don't believe Morgan would be alone in his thinking. Let's face it, a couple of months back Nigel's tactics, especially his substitutions, had little support from most of the fans too. Maybe it's early days but wasting 12 million on Gaston seems a huge folly. He seems pretty poor in most games and this would have cast doubts on Nigel's ability to get the most out of such a player. Time will tell but I don't hold out much hope of him improving.
