  1. Nicola's heart is no more in the right place than was Rupert Lowe. Both have the same objectives for Saints long term future. It all depends on whether you approve of Poortviet/ Wotte's sexy/open football or Pochettino's vision of us playing like Barcelona. The parallel's in all the trumpet blasting that left us as a laughing stock is too close for comfort. Porchettino's got too much to say. It's early days.
  2. Probably on target related payments where severance pay was concerned. Guess Nigel not getting the team to the top ten places could have seen his remaining 2 years scapped, and receiving something like 25000 quid. Shameful!!!
  3. MP or Mashed Poccetto
  4. Smacks of Hoddle and Stuart Gray. In those days the 7 day break was an annual break but in a warmer climate such as La Manga. It's freezing in Barcelona and pouring with rain for the next 10 days.
  5. Could it b all the other groups disbanded, have vanished off the scene?
  6. White feathers are more appropriate for the coward Cortese is, together with yellow hankies and flags. Love to see someone empty a sack of feathers in the Directors (umm Dictators) box.
  7. Sticks and stones andsilly names won't have the least effect on Nicola Cortesé. However what will hurt him has to be money related. No bigger effect than an empty stadium, a mass stay way.
  8. Inability to bring in investment and interference from Barclay's bank took us down 2 divisions. History will show that Rupert Lowe was far from an incompetant chairman and his part in moving th club forward. Cortesé would be incapable to a thing without the Liebherr money.
  9. Think we should be asking about our Argentinian Goalkeeper and his role in the appointment of our new manager. Could it be that Paulo Gazzaniga's apparent lack of games meant he was involved of showing Pochettino around. I believe this is no coincidence and show's Pochettino hsd been lined up since Reid and others were seen making visits to Barcelona last summer.
  10. This has been a long time coming and Nigel was not left uninformed. Th last thing Nigel will have wanted for the players and supporters wouold be a negative backlash and reaction. By ensuring that the club moves forward, that we avoid relegation will be biggest approval and support for Nigel's legacy, for what he has brought to the club and left behind. If we are heartbroken, gutted, let's spare a thought for the players, for those who shared Nigel's dream and 2 and a half years working closely together with him. We must do everything to give them all a lift and pick themselves up and continue Nigel's belief in our club and the players future.
  11. If Terry continue's in his role of Club President without standing down, then this isn't the Terry Paine I have worshiped and loved all these years. At least Le Tiss has stood by his beliefs and principles and let his feeling known
  12. Thoroughly agree. Reckon Nigel's refusal to ship out Ricky must have the reason his dismissal came to pass. We know know who's been picking the starting line up.
  13. Had Cortese's advisors been included and the likes of Di Matteo been brought in as Director to replace Reid I'd be able to stomach this move. But to make Nigel the scapegoat is appalling and brings shame on this club of ours. Th probable reality is that top players will be refusing to come to the club with the like's of Nigel in charge. The use of the like's of De Ridder recently showed desperation when he and others that featured in the earlier Reserve game of shame should have been shipped out and never played Really gutted that Cortese couldn't have given Nigel till the end of the season after supporting him up to now.
  14. For me this sounds like story put out by clubs trying to block us signing a certain player. Uncertainty over the manager has to be the most offputting consideration for a player about to sign, Then again it could be the agent of one of our out of favor prima donnas that Adkins isn't playing
  15. Just let us sign a strong Swedish center-back also who is a clone of Michael Svensson and I will be in 7th Heaven
  16. For sure he will be signed up by the end of the transfer window so we can say we've made signings. Just as long as Steve de Ridder doesn't sign a contract extension in face of his Golden Turds nomination
  17. You never have been capable of seeing things at face value. so I wouldn't worry about it
  18. Not for long if Gordon is true to form. No wonder Scotland has ended up where they are today with that waster Wotte at the helm of performance.
  19. Fabrice was one of wee Gordon's Reform lodgers. Mrs S and Gordon tried to give Fabrice a stable life and help after his first period of troubles. For a while he responded but as his behavior at the Cup final showed he didn't repay Gordon and his opportunities became less until Harry gave him a chance only for him to get injured in his first game back,
  20. Sign of the times with VIRGIN stores in big trouble and close to falling into administration here in France. French courts yesterday put them under an 8 week court controlled winding up order. Here in France the law better protects customers and staff.
  21. Have thought the same in the way Jason wanders all over the place. Jason would do well to take a look at Fabrice playing and come up with developing the crop circle style of play. Here are some tasters http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=Fabrice+Fernandes&FORM=VQFRVS
  22. You forgot his cross dressing tastes in fish net stockings and nicking ladies underwear.and being one of the first outplayers to bring black gloves to the English game. Sad to see he's ended up in prison and Saint Charlie's not done his homework in linking this bad egg to Southampton Football Club http://www.purepeople.com/article/fabrice-fernandes-l-ex-footballeur-est-en-prison-pour-extorsion-de-fonds_a88417/1

  24. Shares in bananas have rocketed north of the border with Gordon's appointment. Can see the tartan Army adopting bananas to chuck on the pitch during games. 100% no racial connection. Ginger wigs must ber another good investment too.
  25. Full congratulations to Gordon Strachan and best of luck to our former manager. Hoping he'll do better than the last Saints manager to hold the position. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/scotland/9801736/Gordon-Strachan-to-be-named-Scotland-manager.html
