  1. Funny you say that Norm, as the father of one of my best Saints friends on here (i.e, after your good self) is none other than a top RBS director, IKEA and bonus laden.
  2. This is true Norm, Lordswood himself posted the information on here yesterday. So he is really IKEA and the first to reveal that Sharp was in town.
  3. Is that the friend that you claimed knows me that time you contacted me fishing for me to reveal personal information? I'm IKEA and have so many friends too. Isn't that right Norm?
  4. As long as the bald Chaplow fellah isn't Lee Hughes
  5. I am wondering whether Lee Barnard might be part of the deal, going the other way. Doncaster are going to need a striker to replace Sharp so one of ours might end up there either on loan or part of the deal.

    Transfer rumour

I heard thousands of Saints fans are going to slit their wrists, jump off the Northam and Itchen bridges after reading the crap you have just written. I'd see a doctor about the nonsense and voices you are hearing. Have you never heard of being wound up by mates?
  7. Indeed it's an amazing piece of music as is Denez Prigent in all he does. He's got his music well protected by copyrite and this is the reason he's not so well known. I believe he did this when he began working with Hans Zimmerman on film music and Black Hawk. BLACK HAWK
  8. i know everything actually
  9. Someone will have the Old Grey Whistle recording. It'll show up somewhen. It was about the time of the Olympia Concert here was at the top of his career . "Foggy Dew" is a favorite of mine. Very moving but Stivell voice has a lilt to it that can shivers right through ones existence. Have just found the song that used to be part of a Breton medley along with Tri mat to lod. The song dates from the 1300's and relates the tale of the return of Monfort to claim the throne of Brittany. It is this tune where Stivell came out playing the pipes at the end AN ALARC'H ( Le cygne de Montfort ) On Youtube there is a 100 song playlist of Stivells music
  10. On his personal website there are some of his CD's that you can listen to and download. They go back to his first album in 1964. His Dublin album is well worth a listen. You can chose to read in English on the site http://www.alan-stivell.com/
  11. This is how I remember him except at the end where they stopped he left the stage and returned playing the bagpipes. I've searched for early live videos but been unable to find it. His music awakens within our genes and within one's being long forgotten memories of our heritage,

  13. Spooky. The Kevin Davies factor. It was Kevin who scored the goal against Millwall that got us into the F.A. Cup Final against Arsenal. Now, after a thread about his return, he might indeed return and playing for Bolton. That is, if we knock out Millwall first.

  15. Amazing performance at the annual Celt festival in Brittany in 2007. The festival last 14 days and attracts musicians, singers, bands from all across the Celtic world. It is one of my dreams to attend. Here is SEVEN REIZH Selaou & Tad ha mamm live 2007
  16. Some years ago I discovered DENEZ PRIGENT and his incredible voice and music. It's not so easy to find online all the music and performances he does. I thought those who love and share my love of this type of music and tradition would enjoy listening and getting to know Denez. Several generations of his family have been well known in Breton music circles. Until recently his mother in her late 70's would join him on stage and sing and dance with him. It was a scene that really amazed me. Here is a video of one of his best loved numbers where he uses the full range of his incredible voice. Tempete en Bretagne. Here is another more recent filmed at a Celtic Festival with great atmosphere and pipers on stage
  17. I love Stivell and saw him here in Montpellier back in 1974 at the height of his success. He's absolutely brilliant, a genius. He and Nolwenn are often performing together and it was Stivell who encouraged her to go against her management and put out the Breton album. It's been her biggest success. Take a look on Youtube, you'll find videos of them performing together. Look at those eyes of Nolwenn, true Celtic eyes. Do you know Celtic Women and their music?
