Watching the NRJ awards I saw a medley of songs by a female impersonator and came up with something that could really get everyone joining in and inspire the lads, Lots of clapping and simple words. Listened to the Skates manager and he gave the impression no one would be leaving. I'm sure West Ham will be bringing in a big signing or two. Here's hoping having reached so far we don't go and screw it all up. I can't help thinking of Cardiff, Charlton and Leeds who were up there and they fell away in the run in.

At supper tonight I nearly threw up reading some reality program had lined up for contestants to drink a cup of Donkey sperm and a urine chaser. The French Sports Radios have been mentioning overnight a number of Swiss internationals being sized up for moves before the end of the month. It's high time Nicola started using his Swiss connections to capture a gem or two.

We do need a player of Kevin Davies' build and capacity to tie up oppositions defenders. The one thing that Kevin has is the complete lack of fear of tackling. I don't think signing him would be an option but having him on loan till the end of the season would be a good move.

I am only quoting from Steve Williams on TalkSport during last night. He was representing a Daily Express colleague who was unable to appear. He was introduced as former Arsenal and Southampton player to which he sort of cleared his throat, objected being linked with Saints. He then said his true love since childhold and today was the club down the road, currently in difficulty. Portsmouth. I was so shocked and lay awake for hours. I nearly got up to come on the forum to ask if anyone else had heard him. I am disgusted as Steve was always one of my Saints heroes. I went to bed earlier than usual at 10pm ET and listened on and off till till 2 or 3 am ET. I'm trying to go through the Mike Graham show hoping to find it. I could have been on earlier before Mike Graham. They talk so much tosh on Talksport I tend not to listen unless anything interesting comes on.
