TIME TO SAY GOODBYE A very touching music that could be played at the Stadium before any standing ovation, silence or clapping for Marcus's memory and our love towards the man

Eike's answer to those who think that he's gay Phil Funny but watched several clips from German TV shows and each announcer came out at the end of the introduction saying. "And he's hetero" Guess it must be a common remark for them to introduce that way.

Amazing. I never knew that you were a dancer. I was more into singing, playing guitar and composing when I was younger. My friend Anne Marie Porras has taught Jazz for many years. She even had me following Jazz lessons at the time when I toured with her Dance Group Dialogue. Oddly a guy who shared the same courses, Jean Sasportes was the same age as myself and wasn't put off by his age like myself and has gone on to be a top dancer, then choreographer and actor. You can find Anne Marie's personal website at http://www.am-porras.com/ She is on Facebook and I've been amazed that she's actually using it after years of me trying to get her on the internet. Most of what she does can be found on Didier Barbe's Youtube channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/didoubarbe#p/a I use extracts from the video clips on my Youtube site but it's my son whom I'm hoping to record on Video. He's been in training these past few weeks putting together a combat act with a Shaolin friend of his. We'll see what it gives. Did you know that Lizzie Gough who came 3rd in SYTUCD 2010 is from Southampton? I am friends with her on Twitter and Facebook and am trying to get her to contact the club about doing a show or two. I think she'd make a great mascot for the club but she's been cool on the idea. Maybe it needs the woman's touch and you can try to convince her. Lizzie and Marc Capete in SYTYCD One of my favorites.

You've just mentioned a real favorite of mine Mikhail Baryshnikov who for myself was really amazing. So ahead of his time and responsible for so much change. I shall never forget the impact he made on me in "White Nights" about his escape from Russia. Than you for introducing Ivan Vasilev, and straight away it reminded me of a video of an old friend of mine Rudy Bryans, husband of my best friend here in Montpellier, top French choreographer, former dancerAnne Marie Porras. We've been close friends for 37 years now. I never knew Rudy when he was young and dancing professionally but after he went into partnership here in Montpellier with Anne Marie. By that time he was in his late 50's. He's 70 today but in amazing shape for a man of that age. I'll see if I can find a recent photo of him. Here is a clip from his personal collection when French TV did a program on his work. You will see the similarity with the performance you showed me of Ivan. http://www.youtube.com/user/didoubarbe#p/u/12/odzZRAFI5ag I've just also watched "Spartacus" from Ivan Vasilev which I enjoyed. Having lived in China I was introduced to up and coming Combat dancing, something which is now really catching on everywhere. This has tremendous appeal to me as my son teaches Tai Chi and Kung Fu and was very interested in HipHop. It is partly a reason I am an avid follower of Tommy Franzen, the Swedish Chinese who was finalist in SYTYCD this year. We've become good friends and I'm trying to get him to incorporate more of his combat skills into his performances. You'll never believe this, but it's true. I was introduced to dancing, ballet, by none other that Margot Fonteyn! Prior to that dance beyond disco had no appeal to me whatever. It was 1967, she was staying in a hotel where I worked in Bournemouth, during my final year at college. She attended my 21st birthday party when she and her party gate crashed late at night the party that I was holding in the hotel. I even got to dance with her, disco dancing but not ballet!!!! She later invited me to be her guest at filming of Sleeping Beauty at the Bournemouth Pavillion. For 3 days, myself and a girl colleague, watched mesmerised her filming. It rates as one of the most incredible 3 days I've ever experienced. From that day forth dance in all forms has had a tremendous appeal to me. I am so happy to have this opportunity to discuss the subject with yourself who is so knowledgeable on the subject.

Thank you so much. I've never seen this performance from Nureyev but often seen photos of him dressed in this way. Here, I've found a link to the same clip at Youtube which plays smoother than the one on the Russian website. Amazing when one considers Nureyev's age when performing this piece and that Eike is but 20 years old. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdRRgP29tfc

I have previously posted this amazing video on the ART section of the site. Yet I believe not many visit over there, and I'd hate for others to miss out on seeing this really amazing 20 year old German Gymnast/Dancer. In no time he is the talk of Europe. He's so good that shows are being written around his talent. Here's just one clip of his performance from the show "SOAP" I introduce EIKE VON STUCKENBROK ( I wonder what he'd be like around the goalmouth in a football matcfh) Enjoy http://www.youtube.com/user/matteoblau#p/u/18/vBAwdD01jWU

This must be one of my best ever finds on Youtube. I've also found and subscribed to him on Facebook and on MySpace and his own official site which is http://www.handbalance.de/pages/intro.php On the Youtube channel of Matteoblau you can find other videos from him, from other performers from the SOAP show plus a trailer film for the Made in Germany Show that begins in September thru October in Berlin. I'd really love to be able to go and see it LIVE. Maybe Bierfest and the show together. http://www.youtube.com/user/matteoblau Not had any luck on the Glen Tetley's 'Pierrot Luminaire' Do you have any link by chance?
-
Will look at Glen Tetley's 'Pierrot Luminaire', Thank you. Isn't this performance incredible. Germany has so much talent that goes unrecognised but I'm sure this guy and the others are going to be really big. They begin a two month season of a show called Made in Germany in Berlin in September and October and can imagine after they may tour. Eike's appeared on Paul O'Grady's show I saw today and for a lad of 20years able to perform like that the mind boggles what he's going to do in the future. XXOO

The following video isn't at ARTZLINE CHANNEL but is one that you just can't afford to miss. Ever felt bored at bathtime? Maybe this incredible 20 year old German will give you one or two ideas. Eike Von Stuckenbrot performing SOAP Part 1 Censored version Eike Von Stuckenbrot performing SOAP Solo

Third time lucky and Kevin Davis must be just at the right timing of his career to accept an opportunity tht Saints could offer him. He's big, rough and would be the perfect foil and back up of Ricky. I know some will think to his past record but Pardew's just the man to squeeze the very best out of him.

I certainly hope all this type of speculation isn't going to turn into a Burke and Hare dissection of the body. Let us show some respect, at least till the funeral. I hope that the Admins will be quick to shut down threads they move away from respectful discussion. With regard to the mention of Katharina Liebherr, my memory recalls during the Administration the sighting at St Mary's of a very beautiful lady with a sports car with Swiss number plates. Perhaps this would have been Katharina. Andrew Oldknow has as much chance of returing to the board as Rupert Lowe being called in. Speculating, I might say the thought that it may have been Rupert Lowe or Andrew Cowan who got Nicolas Cortese interested in the club to start with. Certainly some of the dark Lord's business tactics seem very close to Mister Cortese's heart.

Marcus, you helped us but we never helped you, We needed you but you didn't need us So we want to tell you, Goodbye, goodbye. Marcus, you left us but we'll never leave you, We still need you but you no longer need us, So we want to tell you, Goodbye, goodbye.

SAINT MARCUS OF ST MARYS. REST IN ETERNAL PEACE Today you have left us, departed and left us all to fight on. I don't think there is a Southampton Football Supporter alive, who isn't deeply indebted to all you did, have done and what your legacy with do for the club in future. I pray that we shall now finally all come together, united as we once were, to stand tall and make you proud for all that you so lovingly did for us all. In tribute, I can only echo the words that I'm certain you would have told us in person were you still here today. 'THE SHOW MUST GO ON" THANK YOU MARCUS. WE SHALL NEVER FORGET. XXX

I am too stunned, saddened and numb in learning of the sudden death of Marcus Liebherr this evening. Marcus saved Southampton Football Club one year ago from total oblivion, it is something we all must never forget. We owe our very existence to this kindly, warm hearted and generous man. RIP Marcus, we'll never forget you X

Thank you all those who agree with my comments. I, like David from Sweden, have supported the club since I was a nipper. Yet I disagree that the supporters of yesteryear never moaned, booed or slow hand clapped and shouted abuse. There is a huge difference with the situation today. In those days the board could easily be blamed for not spending money, for selling our best players and bringing in real K n o bs. We weren't coming back from the dead in those days, we were dead for almost as long as we'd been in existance. Then things improved and we came to life for a few years. 15 months ago we were dead and all but buried. What has since transpired is nothing short of miraculous. I personally shall be forever grateful to Marcus Liebherr, to Nicolas Cortese, who convinced the man to put in his money into the club, and also to Alan Pardew, whom I opposed, but has proved me very wrong. Rome wasn't built in a day, and money doesn't always buy success. It helps and it also helps if a team has the general support of their supporter base. I recall the season on BOING and how West Brom almost became invincible due to their supporter belief and backing. Let us be grateful, let us show belief in the guys who have should their belief in our club, resurrected it, given it a future and believed we shall get back up there once ago. If Nicolas Cortese is as bad, as evil as some are making out, he'd have had this forum, it's admins and half of the posters on here up in court. What's more he'd have done what should have been done long ago, issued the forum with a warning and if ignored close it down. That today's admins let posters blatantly get away with libelous postings, constant repetition and abuse of the club, the chairman, and manager is a sign of the times. I would go so far as to say this has come about because the admins are just as sick of reading it all and you and I and no longer bother to read what appears. I've been looking forward to an outstanding season, one that I'm sure will happen. I am prepared to sit tight, go along for the ride and then, and only then, get upset if things don't work out. It took us almost 100 years to reach the Premiership and it's not going to come overnight. Yet, we have people in charge confident enough they can deliver. So do us and them one big favor and get behind them and support their belief. Amen Ramadan Mubarak, may this be a time of peace, brotherly/sisterly love towards one another and a true revelation into conscience and knowledge to all humanity

Second game at home and the manager has to make more a less a cap in hand appeal to the supporters. In all honesty, where many are concerned these days, we don't deserve a manager, or the best squad of players, and most of all don't deserve a club and the likes of Nicolas Cortese and Marcus Liebherr. It's all defies belief and after all we've been though, it's high time we got our act together as supporters and give the same input the above mentioned have put in to giving us this extraordinary lease of life, this rebirth and hope for the future. Such is the forum interest in that we no longer have a match thread, a post match reaction thread. It starts at the head and it's no wonder the remainder is rotten to the core.
-
Thank you for your kind comments. I hope you've enjoyed the remainder of the clips. Let me know if you have, it's always encouraging when others enjoy what one does.

I spent 3 weeks in Malta but stayed in Sliema which is away from the main tourist center in Valletta. Take care if driving or taking taxis. They drive like maniacs and the word stop, slow down isn't in their vocabulary. I recall that Paradise Bay was really beautiful and the historical, religious side to their culture is second to none. In many ways it's the Mediterranean coastal countries represented in one small area. The women are hot and can be extremely beautiful. I left my heart there many years ago and guess it's still to be found there somewhere. My visit and the impressions it left on me was what sealed my career, my future.

We just couldn't score. What one amazing surprise after the bucketful of goals that we scored in our pre season warmup games. Doesn't take a psychic to see that something is amiss where goals are concerned and it's not just Ricky's absence.

I don't think I need to remind all the optimists that we are currently bottom of League One. Starting off in the identical position as last season but without the minus 10 points. http://www.sportinglife.com/football/live/tables/cc_league1.html Something needs to be done about this matchday forum experience on here. No match threads and despite constant refreshing the forum is lagging 15 minutes behind real time. I've 20 Mega broadband and it's just not on when the stream is only 2 minutes behind real time.

Sick. sick, sick of reading posts about the amount of money we've spent this close season. There's plenty of time to make signings, and the policy about loans is one that the new regime has followed. Signings will be made, if and when we need players. Just because the club has money, it doesn't mean it has to burn holes in our pockets and be spent for the sake of spending.

Not so sure even the brutal French security would resort to tear gas in the obvious presence of babies and pregnant women. On the other hand, polls conducted this week throughout France are showing overwhelming support for Sarkozy's new heavy handed approach to immigration. The following is a translation of one article where the opinions may be of interest considering the high support for these measures by socialist voters. According to surveys published this Thursday, (representative of the French population of more than 18 years), the French, of socialist tendencies, would very largely support the measures announced by the president of the Republic and his government. The most popular measures: the control of the delinquents by electronic bracelet for several years after they purged their sentences is approved by 89% of the questioned people. Measures supported likewise also on the left The withdrawal of nationality for the French nationals of foreign origin, culprits of incentive to disturbance of public order or polygamy is also largely voted by the electorate. 80% of the French probed there are favorable. More surprising: 62% of socialist voters approve this idea. The half of these same socialist voters are favorable to the withdrawal of nationality for the guilty delinquents of foreign origin for attack on the life of a gendarme or a police officer (70% of the people questioned there are favorable). 79% of the questioned people are favorable to the dismantling of the illegal camping of Romanians and gypsies. And 67% are said favorable to the installation of 60.000 cameras of vidéo surveillance from here to 2012. Measure the least appreciated, the judgment at two years of prison for the parents of juvenile delinquents, in the event of non-observance by the latter of the injunctions of justice. 45% of the people questioned there are opposed. “A strong demand of safety” “One cannot deny that the request for safety is strong among all French, and not only at those which vote for Le Pen”.

Always felt that certain supporters on here hated to see a united fan base. I'd like to see anyone who is capable of putting in an ounce of the effect and work that Baj and others put into running Saints forums. Go off and create and divide, and hopefully this forum will be a better place when you complement Ulgies. Hahaha! Come back Norm, it'll soon be safe to post on here again!

One thing I have to say seeing the North African issue has been mentioned, is that the Sarkozy government are finally rectifying one huge post colonial issue. Thousands of North African and men from former French colonies fought for Franbce. Yet, till recently weren't intitled to pensions despite living in France. 3 years ago, I met a sprightly looking Algerian of 89 years lining up looking for handouts and he told me he'd been in the French Army for 15 years and received nothing. At the time I was unaware but this has been a huge issue. It's taken all these years but finally action to put this right is being taken. One wonders just how many have died in all those years and will never be compensated. Our colonial past still has many unresolved issues whether we be British, French or Portugese or Dutch.
