  1. These are women and children who have been flung out of accommodation and left on the streets. Where the hell are they supposed to take them? There is a difference removing protesters making trouble and those left defenseless on the pavements. The thing is that the authorities move in against easy targets like women and children whilst leaving drug dealers, thugs and rioting males alone to burn and wreak whole areas. Do we see cars, buildings being burnt everynight in the UK? Maybe 20 or 30 years ago but this is something happening in the here and now and every day, every night for the past 5 years.
  2. Today most of France is in shock at the footage of French police dragging pregnant women and babies away in the latest action against illegal immigrants. With most of France on holiday the government of Sarkozy has swung into action. It makes the friendly English police look like pussy cats! [video=youtube;soHm-hHATdA]
  3. The one good thing that French President Sarkozy has said and done is that he would block any access of Turkey to the European Community. He means what he says and I'm flabbergasted to read Cameron's statements on allowing Turkey to enter. How they hell does he intend to do so by adding another 70 million unemployed to the community books? Disgusted.
  4. Saudi clerics have today declared Muslim women exempt from wearing full veils in France. This comes following the French government overwqhelmingly voting to ban veil wearing in France. However, because banning them is so un-British they will remain obligatory in the United Kingdom and elsewhere
  5. Contrary to English public opinion over the likes of John Terry, in France today 83% of the public don't ever want to see the likes of Ribery and Benzema playing for the France National team again.
  6. I have a feeling that a number of players will arrive on loan as with last season. Surely though we don't need to wait for the loan window to have them arrive?
  7. They were questioned 2/3 months back but due to political pressure the case was put on hold for the World Cup. This morning they both were arrested following the inquiries and are now undergoing interrogation at police headquarters in Paris. where they are expected to be charged
  8. The French newslines are reporting Ribéry and Benzema have now been arrested on suspicion of having sex with underaged prostitutes. Football can hardly sink any lower.
  9. Twitter's been ablaze with rumours that's not malaria she's suffering from but allegedly the long term effects of a liquid diet. I leave you all to guess what liquid the rumours referred to.
  10. Stewart Henderson's done a marvelous job and been a truly loyal servant to the club. What I've always liked about the man is he got on with his job and never played politics, or one upmanship. The man deserves a Testimonial Match and hope maybe the powers that be might find it in their hearts to provide at very least a farewell to Steward friendly game one of these day. Good luck to you Stewart and thanks for all you've contributed.
  11. Many many thanks mate. Much appreciated. Otterly, you are forgiven lol!
  12. Thank you Duncan for your wishes and steady on ottery st mary. 64th birthday tomorrow! Many thanks for the kind thoughts though XO
  13. Happy Birthday Duncan. No wonder you and I clash so often. We're both Crabby Cancers. It's my birthday tomorrow, shame we couldn't celebrate it together. Have a great day.
  14. I've just done a Twitter "Whois" search and amazingly the account was started in June 2009, so during Aministration. Being a regular Twitter user I've asked several times if there was anyone on here used Twitter or knew of any Saints related users, the club, management or players. The feed seems to Tweet all official news at the same time as the official website so useful for those following on Twitter. Wondering if Match Day chat on Twitter might be a possibility but probably Facebook Chat would be faster when it gets busy.
  15. Ain't that amazing. I've posted three Twitter related threads in the last 6 months and no one ever mentioned the official twitter. I'm even certain Steve you replied on two of the threads. Does nobody communicate Saints related information anymore?
  16. The club is tweeting the very latest news on it's Official Twitter. Follow Saints @OfficialSite By following you are assured of the very latest news from the club on your PC or mobile phone.
  17. Well for those who follow Saints the Club itself have began their Officlal Saints http://twitter.com/officialsaints (@officlalsaints with the most updated news. So for those who say it's a waste of time I wouldn't bother but for those of us who enjoy Twitter this is great news You can download plugins, for Firefox, Safari compatible browsers that make Twitter a very interesting too. For those who want to write longer replies there is TWITLONGER which is free to use like lots of extrasl. Faster than Youtube to upload videos, photos, share music. TWEETDECK and ECHOFON as well as POWERTWITTER are interesting additions both for PC's and Mobile phones.
  18. I've been playing about on Twitter for the past 5 months with good and bad thoughts on it all. Without a doubt the most amusing, educational and top person I follow is Boy George. I ran across him by accident when someone retweeted one of his tweets. A really decent guy whose past has surely enlightened him.
  19. In order to participate in multi voting online, I recently downloaded 7 different browsers. Besides being able to vote quickly, it enabled me the opportunity to test them all out side by side. Amazingly they all ran beautifully and didn't cause any problems except. hahaha Internet Explorer and Firefox which were slow and took ages to load. I am happy to pass on my thoughts and in particular two superb browsers that are both fast, light on CPU and easy to use. FLOCK Browser is a clone of FIREFOX but is 10 times fast, doesn't freeze and one is able to add all the extras that one uses on FIREFOX. Another which I'd never heard about but really excellent is the K-MELEON Browser which again is fast, easy on CPU and very neat to use. Strangely I found SAFARI the next best despite being an Apple base browser it now runs very nicely in Windows based computers. I tried going back to FIREFOX as my default browser but just gave up as I have with Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera, and Safari. I highly recommend both FLOCK and K-Meleon but would be interested to hear thoughts from anyone else who's tried them.
  20. French supporters were so happy today that Nicolas Anelka's been sent home they've all gone out celebrating. French News showed one drunken bunch diving into a flooded urinal. Viva la France!!
  21. Well we can thank John Terry's pre World Cup antics for knocking the stuffing out of the spirit in the team. They all looked drugged, Lampard especially. Most never even broke into a sweat tonight. Algeria are a good side and rarely a push over.
  22. I don't like the new set up a all. I thought I'd landed on Stoke City's website by mistake. The whole thing looks really amateurish and in no way reflects what the reborn club is all about. The spacing and the fonts are all wrong. Have enormous difficult to read the text without zooming in and thus making most of the page invisible. Now just about every other Saints forum looks a whole site better. A great shame and think a poll should be conducted to get everyone's feedback.
  23. That is correct. Don't know what happened to the T. Norm always said I couldn't count, now it looks like my typo's are catching up on my counting.
  24. Just heard back from Tommy Franzen and Areleen Phillips thanking everyone who watched the Showreel for their support. Well done Saints fans.
  25. Any of you who watched So You Think You Can Dance or seen the Pepsi and Niké ads, might remember the incredibly talented Tommy Franzen. I've followed Tommy's work from back in Sweden and you couldn't find a more talented, creative and sports loving person as him. Whether it's dancing, scuba diving, moto cross, Karate, or acting, he excels in all. What's more he's one hell of a nice guy with whom I correspond regularly. Today he released his latest SHOWREEL which he edited himself showing extracts from some of his terrific TV and Showbusiness work. I'm sure many on SaintsWeb will appreciate what he does, at least us younger one's Enjoy, well worth watching. Direct link to the SHOWREEL http://www.youtube.com/user/ArtzLine#p/a/f/0/F9XGvuss7Yo
