  1. If only we can get promotion Bridgey would be my number one signing. I am certain he'd drop a League at this stage in his career to come home to the place where he truly belongs and is loved. As for Terry, he's the biggest C U * T in English football. How someone like him can represent England and be captain too I'll never know. He's no more than an effeminate t*sser who's spent his life pretending to be a man to be detriment of everyone he has the misfortune to cross his path. Easy to see why neither Bridgey and Michael Owen ever get a sniff these days of representing their country.
  2. Hmmm! Does he happen to be any relation of the Puncheon Lama, second highest deity after the Dalai Lallana?

    Double whammy

The truth is that in comparison to last season we've got enough players to put out two first teams. I'm left wondering whether Pardieu knows all the players he has on the books. His substitutions leave me in doubt he knows who are the best players to through on. Gone are the fall asleep problems at the end of the matches. It's Pardieu's screw ups on subs.
  4. That's exactly what Pardieu said a couple of weeks back. That he felt Leeds would collapse. Don't forget we have a game in hand on other clubs and Norwich have go up and down 3 times with Saints over the years.
  5. The sad thing is that Gadaffi's son, their whole family, are one of the richest in Africa and have shown they are able to buy their way back into respectability against all past indiscretions. I certainly wouldn't like to know he had bought Saints or even Pompey or any club in Britain. Yet, go back to last summer before Marcus Liebherr arrived on the scene I wonder just how many would have turned their nose up to his interest and wealth. Son of Gadaffi is well known as a real football fanatic and I believe he has investments in a club or two in France and Italy. Does anyone know anymore on this?
  6. Surely it's more to do with the payment being spread over more than one season or involving, as with Barnard, the signing of another player. Conditions attached to the deal don't make the disclosure of the amount as simple as a straightforward money exchange.
  7. When we played Swindon they were right down there in the bottom 4 with us and hadn't won a game in 10 games. They beat us and haven't looked back since. They weren't up there with the top teams then. Check out statistics at Football 365 mate and don't try brainwashing us with over enthusiastic data.
  8. No doubts who that could be. Kevin Davies who may be tempted by a decent 2 -3 year contract seeing he's reaching the limit of how much longer he could play in the Premiership. Plays ugly, distracts defenders and now and then finds the back of the net.
  9. For me, the midfielder with the old and commanding head, and who is a former Saint too, would be Matt Oakley. He's done it for Leicester in getting them promoted, he's still doing it. Matt showed during administration his heart is still with Saints, so, why don't we make a move for him?
  10. Just take a butchers at who's in a takeover bid at Cardiff. None other than someone who was in for buying Saints back last summer http://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/story_get.cgi?STORY_NAME=soccer/10/01/16/manual_134501.html&TEAMHD=soccer
  11. Saints may be the Man City of League One but most of you lot on this chat sound like the Simon Cowells of the Internet. This ain't the XFactor where players have 5 minutes to do their thing. It beggars belief some of the comments being made. We all know ParDieu plays every game in two halves. One S H I T E half and one where we destroy the opposing team. Come on here at the end of the game and play XFactor.
  12. Maybe under Cortese we have upped the stakes in accessing future signings. Not only their footballing ability, medical but perhaps Cortese uses his past connections to obtaining a banking/credit profile on players. The Swiss are thorough and it's a very likely possibility with Cortese.
  13. The Statue definitely takes the biscuit. I also found hilarious that former Saints Academy player whose career got ended through injury, and due to his other assets, has ended up a millionaire in California, working as a male porn star! Has anyone thought of suggesting such a thing to the likes of Anthony Pullis, or is he a disaster in that area also?
  14. The Liebherr family has a number of football loving members equally as enthousiative and wealthy as Marcus. As with Maxwell senior and Maxwell junior, Pompey could be snapped up once they go into administration by another Liebherr family member. It would provide even more rivalry on a different level. Besides, they could then work towards pooling ressources, facilities, training and otherwise, and make huge savings and therefore big profits. I think any move prior to the Skates going into Administration would be self defeating and far more costly but I don't think the opportunity will have escaped Messrs Liebherr and Cortese.
  15. Check out tomorrow's News of the Screws which has Cardiff about to join the blue few within 7 days if they don't pay 2.3 million to the tax man. Am I glad that we went into Administration when we did and we were rescued before the mass fall by the wayside. http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/658949/CARDIFF-MUST-MEET-BILL-OR-FACE-GOING-BUST-Ridsdale-confident-cash-flow-crisis-will-be-resolved.html
  16. I lent Al Faraj a condom and he didn't even notice it was a reconditioned used one.
  17. When you consider that the money being used to buy into Pompey is dirty money, then it needs to be laundered. Hence the delays, cos it all takes time. Takes time to dry out in such a way so as to leave no nasty stains or traces. From the day Mandarec passed the club over to Gaydamak the finances have got them deeper and deeper into the mire. I've learnt over the years when you see Jewish and Arab businessmen working hand in hand in a joint cause, then there is a lot at stake for both sides. What amazes me is that other international financial authorities haven't been able to intercept all that is going on from the gun running, arms deals to the big balls up at Pompey Football Club.

    DNA profiles

Thank you ESB, for common decency. A very Happy New Year to you. Elsewhere, having had personal ID cards for the best part of the past 40 years in Germany,France, Africa and China I have always found them more useful and of help than a hindrance. Of course maybe the attitudes of the likes of the police in the UK are more behind why so many of the public are against having them brought in.

    DNA profiles

Too true Topgun, everyone should be DNA stamped, starting at junior schools. Doubt the Tories themselves would be any lighter on the matter as they will try to impose a police state if elected. As pointed out, if you're innocent you've got nothing to fear.
  20. As the highly respected Robert Burns would have said reading these gloats of those who never learn. "O would some Power the gift to give us To see ourselves as others see us! It would frae many a blunder free us" When will we ever learn, when will we ever learn?
  21. What Saint in any right mind comes on here on Machday and raises the name of the unmentionable? I shall never forgive Eurosaint for being a class idiot unless we win this game. Urggghh!
  22. How could you!!!!!!!!!!!?? How could you put a curse on our festive season, our good run and the up and coming New Year. Shame on you Euro.

    happy xmas

That's nothing, his pussy drives neat gin and has vodka on her cornflakes. Merry Christmas, Andy, Norm, Jan and all my friends at the club.
  24. Delldays, in posing such a question you are going against the one thing that Pardieu is supposed to insist on in building his squads. Have you forgotten what is posted on the wall in Staplewood?
  25. So people would never have heard of Joe McElderry were it not for XFactor and Simon Cowell? How about the Beatles, Cliff Richard in their day. Damned sight harder in them days. Maybe they should remember Cowell type music industry pioneers have been going for a long long time. Where would the likes of Tommy Steele, Marty Wilde, Billy Fury,Lord Rockingham's XI, a certain Cliff Richard, The Shadows to name a few have been without Jack Good and programs like the 6 5 Special, Oh Boy and Wham. They ran for years, drove most folk out of their minds too. Jack Good was your Simon Cowell of the 50's, 60's 70's and then he went on to the States where he brought across the likes of the Beatles to the States and the Shindig, the Monkees and all that like crap for some people back then. The McElderry versus the Rage was a weekly accurance in those days, as was Beatles versus Rolling Stones or Oasis versus Blurr 10 years ago.
