And what about Harrison REED? No one at the Academy deserves a place in the England Under21 Squad than Reed. He's streak ahead of Targett in development but obviously he's being kept out by other players they consider superior.

Lay down after dinner listening to Talksport. Must have slept right thru Nigel's spot. Thank you so much Saint-Armstrong for the very informative report. Have always loved Nigel and what he did for the club. Had a rough deal at Reading and hope his next club give him the support and backing to do the good job I know he can do. It won't happen, but were he to return in charge of the Academy and youth development, we'd really show ambition and go to new levels of greatness.

ROMANIA IN THE UNITED KINGDOM, EP. 9. Tell the story online Romanians working in the UK and uses his image for the message to reach all the press. The campaign "Romania UK" you present Florin Gardos footballer. Play the Romanian national team and English premier league championship and leisure time has a more unusual initiative. When Romanian immigrants find them post stories on the Internet. The athlete is PR agent for his Romans, after seeing that some media criticizing London. Florin Gardos week comes to London, attracted by the beauty of the city. Tell that Romanians need to take the English fairness and civilized behavior. He met many locals, working people, whom they praise on Facebook. They hoped the British would thus learn more things about us and beautiful Romania, where he proposed to take their teammates in the summer. Area Westminster Bridge, the Thames. A 4-star hotel dominates an intersection in the area. A luxury car is brought to a valet. Young speaks Romanian. Jack: Mario! Yes, Mario. Marian, actually. Reporter: Where are you? Jack: Of Valcea. Reporter: For many years in London? Jack: For the last 7 months. They recently. Reporter: And you've never seen Florin? Jack: I've seen, we've met, yes! The car belongs to Florin Gardos, the Romanian national football player. He played as a defender at Steaua before leaving in the Kingdom, the British team player at Southampton. British team bought by 6.8 million, the second transfer that amount from Romania, after that of Vlad Chiriches. Gardos lives in Winchester, an hour from London, but two days a week - Sunday and Monday were spent in the great metropolis. Team news PROTV went with him a little walk. "The driving difficult at first, I had least until I got used, I took a few curbs. But it's OK, I'm used to, I do not drive through London, that's the truth, you only go to training Southampton and that's all. London is very crowded, hard to find parking and prefer to come by train, "said the footballer. He travels a lot and in London and beyond. He saw museums, monuments, and restaurants staif UK. So has known many Romanians settled in the Kingdom. Everyone will recognize you to take pictures with him and most have sent photos via social networking online. And since Florin saw that Romanians are presented in the British press that embarrass us, had an idea. He initiated and created a unique online campaign group which suggestively named " Romans as a world "where put pictures of those he meets. Whether it's a train that travels, a beauty salon, a Japanese restaurant, or even a taxi that arrived at the station, Florin Gardos collected pictures of Romanians everywhere. And not just photos, but even want to know their story he meets fellow countrymen. No wonder few people footballer wants to know something about them. Romani in UK "There are some who do not know me and I tell them, look, I have a campaign, take pictures with Romanian and ask them when you came ... are open ... In general, people are satisfied with the financial situation here, most of it came. From my discussions everyone wants to come back one time, but do not know when, "says Gardos. Even now earn large sums of British football, Florin Gardos says he knows what it's like to go down. By playing the star and championship in the Kingdom, he lived modestly in Bucharest, in a small studio foate. Today, soccer has rented a house chic 100 kilometers from London, and when he comes in great metropolis will be staying at hotels with claims, along with his girlfriend. Tell the UK it change him and the Romans he meets on the way. Country's common sense and it shows in the smallest details, says Florin. "We have a lot to learn and primarily civilization and common sense. In terms of common sense, where I was in Europe, the English are the most sense. And a little thing, escalators elementary civilized ... you mean you no to you, "says the athlete. And more recently, inspire their colleagues to promote Romanian Romanian national with whom we are proud abroad. The goalkeeper Tatarusanu already playing in Italy and began posting pictures of young people in his town. "The first step was this fellow I spoke with our colleague from the national Ciprian Tatarusanu, and he begins to promote some Romanians the world. The more I want the page to become known and come to the press in England, to Following this is important, "says Florin. Romani in UK Gardos has grown used to the idea that the Kingdom plays football in the first day of the year and says that this is another proof of seriousness in the English Championship. The team was early in the season in 3rd place, but also lowered several positions. Florin says that the summer wants to bring more to the team mates a holiday in Romania. He wants to show and Bucharest, and foodie coast with beautiful girls in Mamaia. "I have heard good things can only good thing I know I'm beautiful girls ... I always say let holiday, let a weekend. There are beautiful things to see and I really want to bring some colleagues," explains the novel. He read the press in London and saw the black and white Romanians begging playing through the center. Florin Gardos from the Romanian national specify that they will never occur in his photos. For the Romans it the world are those who do the job properly. "The truth is that Romanians are working people and that's a downside here, I noticed. The services are not as good as us. That is a trivial example, delivery of furniture, it took me 14 days to get mobile home. All sorts of excuses, even Romans are workers and they are put on the job, work. Indeed, there are negative cases that do not make us proud, but not representative, so I say, "Florin Gardos ends. It considers a country as colleagues, leave together in long cantonments. In which everyone is as honorable in front of the English, pay their taxes to the British state, integrates and what do not bother.

Thought we could have done better than the one we've chosen for next season. Lacks imagination. Thought a red and white version of Newcastle' current strip would look great except for a change at the back of the shirt. http://img.uksoccershop.com/timthumb/475/images/newcastle-2014-2015-puma-home-football-kit.jpg

This is what happens when we keep going for goal and not doing reverse crop circles and then back to the opponents half. Took Elia 4 minutes of coming on to reverse the trend and about turn and lose the ball. Was 60 minutes till I saw Davies for the first time. Hadn't realised he was even playing. Amazing what the effect of the return to fitness and new contract for JayRod did today. Today's performance was like Lazarus being brought back from the dead. Whatever it was that saw such a transformation hope Koeman and the backroom team have learned something and keep on doing it. What a difference this result does to the feel good factor.

The return of JayRod and Nigel Adkins has really done the trick. Everyman needs the pressure of competition to bring out the best in them.

Thoroughly agree with you. It would really be a huge statement of intent were we too bring him back in this capacity.

Seeing the game starts at 12.45, I think you're a little misinformed.

Rodriguez has returned - BREAKING: NEW CONTRACT SIGNED
ART replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Absolutely brilliant news and changes so much for the club's future. Seems like a huge black cloud has been lifted and brilliant rays of sunshine have appeared. Congratulations to Jay and to the Club. -
Time to remind everyone of the story of the "HARE AND THE TORTOISE" It's he who crosses the finishing line first who wins the race

Well,.looking at how badly Wanyama has played of late. Jack Cork would have certainly have been a better option. Had he stayed he would have had plenty of games with Wanyama and Scheiderlin either injured or suspended Oh, what a minute!!! Koeman is our manager and Cork would not have got a look in with Koeman prefering Elia and Djuricic.

Wenger yesterday blamed him being selected for England too early as ruining Chambers season

I respect you for posting your opinion and you providing your own thoughts on my opinions. I try very hard to be positive, and, there was a period this season, when I began believing my original gut feeling, based on long experience following Saints and football had been wrong. It's my belief, which gets stronger and stronger, that Koeman isn't so committed as he makes out in public and the media. The Media and how HE is perceived, are his primary driving force as he puts himself in the window for his next move. He states he will see out his three year contract but at no time has he committed himself beyond, preferring to let it known he is wanting the Barcelona or Holland job after Saints. With results of late and a failure to rectify things, and others seeing thru his real intentions, he might not be allowed to see out the 3 years. I am furthermore not at all convinced on his acquisitions and his ability to bring in the very best level of players to get the club into establishing itself in the Top Six and later in Europe. When one considers Pochettino, Adkins and how they brought thru young Academy players, I have not been impressed at Koeman doing a similar job. I really worry that our best youngsters will not be prepared or have patience with Koeman. I could go on, but these are my main concerns, and the facts, of late, speak for themselves. Leicester, in escaping relegation, winning 6 out of their last 7 games, keeping clean sheets, are in the process of recreating what we Saints did earlier in the season. They are playing with spirit and determination, much in the way we did, although, I would say, our players did a more beautiful job, not only defending and keeping clean sheets, but in scoring goals. It's rubbish for Koeman to say that we re losing games thru poor starts. We are, and have been, losing games by our inability to score goals and make good use of the final third of the pitch.

As I posted at the time, I was told it had more to do with his missus not over keen on his longstanding bromance with Bertrand after Ryan arrived at the club.

"The obvious incentive for clubs is to put in front of players is a big bonus for achieving certain things. Revenue created by qualifying for Europe, for example, makes these big bonus incentives possible and creates the atmosphere of giving more instead of taking away. This is also the best way for a club to compensate for not getting into Europe because the idea and thought of that bonus can be reiterated throughout the squad, over the course of a season in preparation for next season. If a side goes a season without European football then the obvious incentive is to offer an even bigger bonus to the team for the following season. Again, this would be justifiable due to the extra revenue streams created. It could also make the players a lot more determined to play for the club and the manager in order to achieve European football. If they are penalised heavily for missing out, instead of being further incentivised, then the football club is only asking for trouble." ARSENE WENGER It’s also quite important to point out that the radical proposals coming out of Arsenal are coming at a time when the team is going through a patch of poor form. Uncertainty at clubs often creates illogical decisions. The news could well have emerged due to Arsenal’s current league position and the fact that they may not play well enough over the rest of the season to finish in the top four and secure a Champions League place. They don’t need to penalise the players even if that’s the case because the club is running at a healthy profit and could afford to pay a bigger bonus to reward players who help the club bounce back into European football"

Jack Cork's reason for leaving gives a hint why things aren't going so well of late for Saints. Can believe Keman's persistence with the likes of Pelle, Elia and Djuricic breeds similar feelings http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/576245/Jack-Cork-Not-Valued-Southampton-Hopes-Swansea-Get-Europa-League
