There are any number of our Academy lads who'd do a better job given the chance than Elia or Diuretic. There was absolutely no need to have brought such rubbish in on loan in January. The thing with our own lads is they soon rise to the level required of them when given the chance. I'm not convinced that Koeman has the best interests of our own lads on his agenda. He's too hell bent on bringing in players, especially from the Dutch League. Gallagher needs more time in the light of his return from injury. Seagar deserves a place on the bench and a run out over Elia or Diuretic, and the likes of Sam McQueen, Hesketh ought to be there with him. Week after week the same old selections have failed of late. It's high time Koeman gives a chance to those who will give their all of the club.

Koeman's continued persistence with Pelle and Tadic has cost us results and yesterday was no different. Changes should have taken place after half time not so late in the game. Koeman seemed oblivious to what was happening till it was too late. I just wish he'd keep his love for the media in check and his mouth shut. Not one of his predictions has come to pass. No League Cup, No FA Cup, No Champions League Place and at the current rate No Europa League either. Let the players do the talking and he pick players on ability and not favoritism. Koeman's team has ruined our ability to score. He's had several months to put a decent scoring option in place yet instead of succeeding he's getting deeper and deeper in not being ble to do so. I fear for Rodriguez returning and he'll end up like the others. Any normal manager would have give Ryan Seagar a start by now. Prowsey is streaks better than most he picks yet he takes him off. He removes Toby after waiting weeks for his return. Things were improving with Maya in the team, yet he's not selected. Sick of Koeman continuing with Pelle when the entire team is suffering from Pelle favoritism and sinking to his and Tadic's level. Elia had 2 decfent gamers and has since spent most of his time [promoting his out of football interest. Duretic couldn't even scored in thje Under21's while Seagar can. Koeman and his team are ruining our ability by their inability to select the right players and instruct them accordingly.

As a Saints fan I believe Prowsey deserves some recognition for being selected as Captain of the England Under 21 Team and leading his side to beating Germany by scoring the winning goal. 3 times England fought back from being a goal down with a tremendous fighting spirit inspired by our man. Too often we are quick to criticise but slow to show credit where it's due. Folk forget what James has achieved for a 20 year old and write him off. He brings pride to his country but also to his club, Southampton Football Club and it's Academy.
