Anyone making these financial claims mind telling me what they think happened to the 25 million we've had to write off the books on Osvaldo and Ramirez plus one or two other cancelled contracts. This amount has been huge and we could never have done so without the money we've made selling players. Things are not so rosy as the current transfer purchases show. We really need a touch of reality on expectations for the season ahead. The only alternative will be doing a QPR, Hull City or Burnley with Koeman and Co doing a runner.

If Koeman manages to turn things around this seasonn( and I might add he's not succeeded in doing so since February) it will be an incredible achievement. One that will top everything he did last season. We don't have the players available ( injured or fit) and need to spend big in the coming weeks to stand any chance of holding our own. The Europa hoodoo has hit fast and without a squad big enough to cope with the incredible arrival of games that await us it's looking bad.. We struggled last season when the additional cup games and injuries arrived. We need hard and real men who can play at this level, not midgets and dwarfs who are knocked over and poleaxed with the wave of a feather. Koeman has to let Les Reed and the Board know it straight what awaits us unless we get the players we need. (Joey Barton anyone?!!!) I blame Koeman for letting Les Reed have too bigger say and being too shy to spend what's needed to maintain our position. The way things are we're on a slide. On afterthought, one sees clearer why Pochettino and players departed when left to deal with Les Reed. Targett was left unprotected and exposed in a way I've rarely seen during a Saints game. Why is he being made the scapegoat. I'm not his biggest fan but with the right players around him he will make it big sooner than later. More experienced players have to carry the rap for the abysmal performance in the first half. Koeman waited too long to make the changes when Tadic and Long should have been removed far soon. Surely Martina should have been brought on together with Romeu. No, Koeman is living up to his past form in management and it's going to take a lot to maintain the equilibrium, let alone move forward.

Unfair on Targett. He's completely unprotected from midfield. Cedric's really dismal defensively. Koeman's got one hell of a job to do shoring up our defense. How are well going to cope with injuries once the games come in thick and fast. Kind of feel the Europa hoodoo has struck early.

I am unable to feel confident about Clasie's injury situation. The season has barely begun and he's been clobbered and out injure. How is he going to stand up to playing in the Premier League. There are quite a few ex Saints strikers now coaching that I'd love t see being added to the coaching team at the club and Academy. Kevin Phillips and Kevin Davies are doing a great job and are to be admired at the attitude they have towards passing on footballing skills to youngsters.

Van Dyke plays several positions in defense but didn't Koeman say Van Dyke and Pelle have issues which pose a potential problem?

When has Koeman ever stayed beyond 3 years? He's in the process of using our club and handing out favors to second rate Dutch players and old cronies. This is not a manager like Pochettino who's building for the future. If we sign the likes of Vaar I know which team I'll be supporting this season. Same old Pelle and Tadic and I won't be sitting around while Koeman keeps playing them both the entire season.
