  1. The answer is simple. It happens every year as soon as the brass monkey weather arrives. We need to equip the players with top class " WILLY WARMERS" Easy enough to find although the likes of Graziano will need to have his custom made. Training indoors in a Dome certainly won't toughen up the squad.
  2. Hows about IMAGINE combined with ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE Imagine there's no heaven ...All you need is love It's easy if you try....All you need is love No hell below us......All you need is love Above us only sky.....All you need is love Imagine all the people....All you need is love Living for today... LOVE, Love Love. Imagine there's no countries...All you need is love It isn't hard to do....All you need is love Nothing to kill or die for.......All you need is love And no religion too....All you need is love Imagine all the people......All you need is love Living life in peace...Love, Love Love....All you need is love You may say I'm a dreamer... Love. Love. Love But I'm not the only one.....All you need is love I hope someday you'll join us.......All you need is love And the world will be as one. Love, Love, Love...All you need is love Have to have a word with Yoko.
  3. It does seem somewhat unfair that the victims of so many tragedies across the world are not to be remembered. For myself singing ABIDE ME ME would be far more appropriate than just the Marseillaise. This has to be a case where Liverpool fans have the most appropriate anthem to cover all tragedies with "You'll Never Walk Alone." Out there, there has to be an anthem to unify and show support for all tragedies, no matter race, country or creed.

  6. Latest news reports have said the Germans have arrested a man with close links to those involved in the attacks. They are suggesting those involved entered France via German and Belgium. Elsewhere many are phoning in to say, contrary to government statements, many border crossings aren't being manned and one can enter or leave France with no border checks,
  7. No country or peoples are safe from these heinious acts that are being unleashed across the globe. We no longer live in the day when these things happened to others, or, in distant lands. After the Charlie Hebdo slaughter, few would have believed what is taking place in the heart of Paris, let alone the scale and number of dead.
  8. I have pointed out weeks ago that Garry Monk should never have brought in his former mater James Beattie. One of the worse things one can do in any management position is to bring in mates, friends. The workforce or players quickly lose all respect of the manager unless the mate is an absolute genius with an attractive character. Of course, if it's done without anyone knowing, it won't have the same detrimental effect. Sadly, Beattie's just not the type of person who would have inspired the players. Her reputation went before him. He's a smashing person but not when it comes to working as a coach at Swansea with Garry Monk and with the first team. Maybe it would have worked with the kids or Academy but not the team team. Hope Garry's learned his lesson and brings in the right assistant before it's too late.
  9. Wonder when we'll ever see crowd participation so moving at St Mary's.
  10. Yesterday I finished watching the amazing German TV East-West Spy Thriller Series "DEUTSCHLAND'83" which is currently a big hit in the States. It focus's on events on both side of the German border as a result of the Cold War sparring between the Big Powers. What came across as a very interesting event at the time and karmatic justice in the light of the recent downing of the Russian air craft at Sharm el Sheik, was the 1983 September 1st shooting down by the Soviets of a Korean Passenger Airliner, KAL007 killing all 269 innocent passengers and crew aboard. It was an event that the entire world have long forgotten. Anyone interested in watching DEUTSCHLAND'83 can do so for FREE at: http://www.couchtuner.la/watch-deutschland-83-online/ WARNING: German with English subtitles yet this didn't put of the American public.
  11. Excellent streams http://www.time4tv.com/2013/03/live-sports-channel-19.php
  12. I'd love to see an upbeat version of "Bells of St Mary's" sung at home games. Can't see why certain other sections of the crowd can't get it going, especially now at Christmas time approaches. Phil Spector did a upbeat version but not quite how I imagine it could be done. There are Blue Grass versions that could go well with the Woolston Ferry. Bob B Soxx & The Blue Jeans
  13. Joe Jordan and George O'Brien had terrible teeth .
  14. 90% of footballers have gum disease which is astonishing. Remember Brett Ormeroid constantly had ear infections " due to poor personal hygiene. Rotting teeth and gums are often behind ear infections. Who'd marry or date a footballer?
  15. What's happened to our All Saints Day Remembrance this year. 1st time it falls on All Saints and we're playing at Saint Mary's andonly Clasie remembers!!
  16. Dutch Sport 1 who showed our Europa matches is showing the game online. Here are ACESTREAM French Bein Sports links which normally aren't geoblocked as they are streamed from Russia. Worked fine on Sunday. #EXTINF:-1,Bein Sports 1 HD France (Спорт) acestream://6aee464bcf506d9b72e57e13acead0ba1ef74cfd #EXTINF:-1,Bein Sports 2 HD France (Спорт) acestream://a3f3c82edac8c14ff7bb9b9a25a46d91b5c71995
  17. Gaston is 23 years old, one year older than Lloyd Isgrove, a player we apparently have hopes for the future. To write him off is sheer madness, especially considering what we paid for him. No way should he be sidelined. He can contribute much to the team. A lot more than one or two who are just a waste of space.
  18. The rumours about Luke will just not go away. I reckon that the players ready to come out as gay are two former Saints Academy stars who now play for Arsenal. http://metro.co.uk/2015/10/24/manchester-uniteds-luke-shaw-denies-he-is-gay-after-newspaper-claims-5460237/
  19. It would be great if Nigel takes one or two of our budding Academy lads on loan. Not only to give them playing time, but teach them what will be required of them in future. Could imagine several of the lads would jump at the chance of playing for Nigel.
  20. Makes me throw up just seeing this photo. It sums up what a brown nosed, two faced fooker the guy really is. Hope someone sends a copy to Brendan to brighten his day and help teach him his poor judgement of character.
  21. VVD has had almost 3 years of experience playing for Celtic and in Champions League. This has helped in adapting to the Premier League. I fear Clasie, like Memphas Depay at United and Eljero earlier, just aren't up to the pace, the physical game in the Premier League. I fear they are going to take a long time to integrate, if at all.
  22. I have absolutely no faith in Clasie (Karsi??) ever going to make it in the Premier League. I hope I'm wrong but just can't see it. He's an injury waiting to occur and can't see him changing. Koeman really screwed up on his substitutions and lost us the points. Even Caulker coming on instead of Jrod would have made our chances of holding on, and perhaps even scoring a third goal a better option. Can't help seeing Jrod as ending up like Matt Oakley. Has not seemed anywhere near his former self in the same way Oakley never fully recovered a similar injury. I really feel for the guy as no one has worked harder in an attempt to regain full fitness.
  23. TSN 3 SPORTS (best in Simple player or Kodi) http://37.187.160.187:8000/live/ressler/skype/48.ts
  24. I just don't know why the ***** Saint Charlie bothers to support Saints when he's the source of everything negative written about our players. Wasn't so long back he was calling on the club to play Academy players and criticising any player over 25. Ward-Prowse has shown on many occasions he is more than capable of making the step up and playing with the best. He's 20 FFS and has played 100 senior team games, taken on any role requested of him by the managers. Besides he is the envy of many clubs but shows incredible Club loyalty, unlike a certain poster mentioned earlier.
  25. Justice has been done. I'm absolutely delighted he's got what he deserves for all he put us and the club thru. It's been a marvelous weekend, two down and a third to go if the sackings go in threes. No need to guess who I hope will be the next one. Guess Kenny will take charge till they bring in their new man. Just hope whoever it is he gives Lowren the boot and makes life miserable for La La and Clyne.
