  1. From my understanding, Taidic is part of a swop for Osvaldo, not a loan. Earlier it was said he would be loaned with a chance to buy for 5.5 million at the end of the season. It is the other guy Schelotto who will be loan, but reckon Saints aren't over keen. Mention of Wickham going to Newcastle which strikes me as strange seeing they've just signed a new Argentinian striker. I still believe we will sign Marshall not Forster. He's too good to miss out on. Really hoping Van Dijk will be signed, again too good to miss out on. Can see Koeman sending one or two of our Academy lads to Holland on loan and may be part of deals to bring in players from the Dutch clubs. Not seen it mentioned but Morgan is following Koeman on Twitter, a good sign that he maybe intends to stay. Lastly, Talksport has been getting well and truly on my tits all weekend as they rehash old Saints stories. So bad I switched off this evening as I did from visiting Saintsweb.
  2. At last. Finally someone posts important information that none of the so called ITK's knew, yet was common knowledge since early Saturday. He said after Brighton he hoped to tie up signings over the weekend. So guess these are more plays from Holland.
  3. He's pally with Alex Crook for a lot of what he writes.
  4. Lineker just reported goals scored in friendlies don't count so Ricky still holds his record of never missing.

  6. I'm sure many will rejoice with me in reading Football Agents Stellar are under investigation by HM TAX OFFICE. Here's hoping their ex Saints clients have been advised how to avoid paying tax on their bumper deals with Sludge[pool and Man U/ Agents who orchestrated Gareth Bale's world record Real Madrid transfer investigated for tax avoidance Aug 02, 2014 22:30 By Justin Penrose http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/agents-who-orchestrated-gareth-bales-3957590
  7. Read somewhere yesterday that NBC Sports, parent company of Beinsports have rights to broadcasting all 380 BPL games and it'll cost those who sign up 19 pence /month, which will be incredible

Bale looks more sub human as he ages. By the time he's in his late 30's he's bound to find it easy to appear in horror movies.
  9. Sunday Sun reporting Southampton are ready to make an offer for Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland. Maybe solution to keeping Boruc happy
  10. Heard an interesting assessment the other night on Talksport on Chelsea's Academy. It was mentioned that their Academy, unlike Saints, rarely has produced players for the first team. The reason given is that their Academy deliberately signs up dozens of good young potentials, trains them, loans them out, and, then, with the Chelsea name attached, sells them off for the best prices. In other word Chelsea Academy is solely a money making entity.
  11. That Police warning went up at the end of last season and like you I've not been back there. It is thanks to your post I went to the new site when I saw it posted for the stream for the Man U game. Coolsports is another top site for quality streams. http://coolsport.se/
  12. All this Italian news has been a distraction for the major players we're trying to get. Whilst all eyes are on Inter our other guys are tying up other deals. Why do some on here have it in their heads loans are free. There are fees involved, salaries and expenses to pay. Often they don't come cheap.

Biggest ever crowd for a soccer football game in the States. BBQ's in the parking where it was 100 dollars to park. Just wonder how everyone's going to get out of the ground. Not a seat or alleyway empty.

  18. People wonder why we're not signing players. Just look at yourselves, these threads, the insults, the total garbage on what is supposed to be SFC's biggest fans forum. Maybe current players don't bother, but players we're hoping to sign, their agents, friends and family members do and report back what they see. Players have official fan pages, twitters and Facebook as well as personal accounts. No need to insult them. Patience is very much in short supply amongst many.
  19. All thru the World Cup, working as a commentator, Wenger bigged up Saint and our player on many occasions. He was sincere in what he said and is a very shrewd pundit who often knows what he's talking about.
  20. Schelotto on the way to finalise the deal. This is in addition to Taider.
  21. Can people going off topic please use names not just posting HE, THEY etc.. I came on here to read about Morgan but it's moved way off topic and there's more on Shaw over the past couple of days. Often, it's impossible to know who people are talking about or referring to.
  22. Last year JWP pushed himself to the limit, foregoing a vacation before the season started. As the season wore on Prowsey became more and more tired and the last 3 months or so his brain functioned less and less. This season he returned refreshed and this can be seen in how he's performing to date. I think he's going to get better and better this year. Few work harder on his game than JWP and hopefully he will remain with Saints as I feel some day he's going to be right up there with Gareth Bale. * From what I know he dis-activated his twitter account last year after he got married but he has opened an Instagram account.
  23. Who cares? He is just brilliant and if Morgan stays and they play together we will reap the rewards.
  24. Poch is in for Fonte now Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino reportedly met for talks over signing Southampton defender Jose Fonte earlier this week, in view of bolstering his defensive options ahead of the new Premier League season, report Goal. Although Saints chairman Ralph Krueger reportedly blocked Jay Rodriguez and Morgan Schneiderlin’s proposed moves to Spurs earlier this week, in an effort to curb the exodus of players that has blighted the South Coast side’s summer, the Argentine coach is keen to do business with his former club. Fonte featured in all but two of Southampton’s Premier League fixtures last season and was a key member of their defensive line as they recorded an impressive eighth place finish. However, the 30-year-old has just one year left on his current contract and is expected to be allowed to leave Southampton if a reasonable bid for his services is received, who are unwilling to let the centre back leave on a free transfer. The news of Pochettino’s interest, with reports claiming the manager has already met the player to discuss the transfer, represents a further blow to the St. Mary’s outfit, who have been forced to endure a number of high profile departures. Meanwhile, Spurs have conducted only a handful of transfers during the current window and need to strengthen further if they are to have any chance of competing for a place in the top four with the centre of defence in desperate need of new additions.
