I personally believe Billy is away on holiday and someone's hacked into his Twitter and posted this. He hasn't tweeted since the 20th May.
-
I have much respect for your opinions but James hasn't always been **** and gets a lot of unfair criticism from jealous idiots who don't know the man or the immense charity work he does and has done. James believes in himself, and as often the case, it comes across wrongly or is misunderstood. Time will tell, but something tells me he will make it in football management.
-
Beatts hasn't posted on Twitter since he was appointed manager at Accringham Stanley. Many a former player has succeeded better in management, so why shouldn't Beatts.
-
Some posters on here need to learn to read. I mentioned that maybe Sharp left to make way for Gaston. I then stated I am certain Sharp had he stay and played, even as a sub, would of scored more than a useless 12 million quid failure. I could have added other players names. I nowhere either made any comparison to Sharp playing with inferior players at Forest. Saints fans hounded Kevin Davies out of the club but he went on to play top football as a striker at Bolton with better suited players. We shall never know what Pochettino might or might not have achieved with Billy.
-
He was indeed and there must have been some other reason he was sent out on loan. Personality bust up, the need to be closer to family to ensure no repetition of the loss of his son. or maybe just to make way for Gaston. I bet had he stayed and played (even as sub) he'd have scored more goals than Ramirez
-
I certainly hope this is true.My posts here were an attempt at livening up this Monday morning with one or two Odd (couple) scenarios. Really hope that Pochettino sees the potentiality of taking Billy's career forward at the club.

Can see Beatts getting Rupert Lowe to suss out investors and his other bromances Matt Taylor and Kevin Davies joining him at Accrington. Good luck to them.
-
Beattie and Sharp have had a bromance going for a long time. Could be the new Clough and Taylor and take Accrington all the way. For me, if it's true just shows that Billy's more interested in football and helping a mate than money. Well done Billy. No way a fall from grace but a rise to respect and possible future management in the game

Whatever next? I thought it was the Animal Rights lot who objected, finding the photos offended cats, who are already up in arms for us humans gorking at videos of cats on Youtube

Luke Shaw injured again and out of England U21 Euro 2013 squad.
ART replied to jasoneuelllfanclub's topic in The Saints
Anyone keeping a journal of Shaw's injuries and missing games? I believe he's only had niggling injuries since Adkins left. I'd prefer till he's signed a contract in July he keeps away from England gatherings. -

More likely he wants to go on holiday with his mates and feel this will do him a whole lot better than pushing things too far. -
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/may/23/georges-moustaki-singer-edith-piaf-dies Reuters The Guardian, Thursday 23 May 2013 18.50 BST French singer-songwriter Georges Moustaki dies following illness Georges Moustaki was introduced to Edith Piaf in the late 1950s and started to write songs for the Parisian star. Photograph: Manciet/Dalmas/Sipa/Rex Features French singer and songwriter Georges Moustaki, beloved in France for his collaborations with Edith Piaf and songs celebrating liberty, died on Thursday after a long illness. He was 79. The Greek-born singer grew up in Alexandria, Egypt, and arrived in Paris in 1951, where played guitar at nightclubs and met some of the period's best-known singers. He was introduced to Edith Piaf in the late 1950s and started to write songs for the Parisian star, the most famous being Milord – about a lower-class girl who falls in love with an upper-class British traveller. Developing a reputation as a singer in his own right in the mid-1960s, the hirsute and heavily bearded Moustaki achieved fame with songs such as the immigrant ballad Le Meteque, and Ma Liberté – a hymn to the 60s free-living spirit. A life-long advocate of left-wing causes, Moustaki ended his singing career in 2009, later telling newspaper La Croix thathe was suffering froman irreversible bronchial illness that made it impossible to carry on. The French culture minister, Aurelie Filippetti, hailed an "artist with convictions who conveyed humanist values ... and a great poet", while Twitter was full of tributes to a singer many said had defined their childhoods.

Really sad news, French singer Georges Moustaki has died 79 years. Georges is appreciated by those who love French music. He wrote over 300 songs including many for the likes of Edith Piaf, such as Milord before going on to be an artist in his own right. R.I.P. Stlll shocked the club, St Mary's, hasn't found a way to recreate the Chocolate Boxes in a modern way for the kids. This is the way forward for all clubs if football is to survive. I guess it won't come about till someone gets safe standing pushed through. We could simply remove the first three front rows all round the stadium and replace the seats by benches to accommodate the kids at a cheap rate.

I expect Dean like all loanees will report back with all the squad and Pochettino will giv e them the once over to decide what is done with them. It's obvious that it was Reed that pressurised Cortese to get Apkins to send them out on loan.

To annoy w a n k ers like you and seek attention from one or two who've nothing better to say in a discussion. Been around 12 years, more than 90,000 posts, so if you don't know me by now, you never will.

Reading about City's franchise plans of buying into the American Soccer League has me thinking why are we not investing in this way. Even Lowe was on the verge of investing into China. At least the States is an ever expanding economy whereas Cortesé seems more interesting in fallen economies like Italy, Spain, Africa and maybe even South America. Are we missing out or will Cortese's way bring in big dividends/ http://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/article/165/8726448/city-clinch-new-york-franchise-deal

West Ham get their new signings in and get them to blend. Saints, QPR and Reading left it too late and their season suffered as a result. Pochettino the mouth says all signings will be in by 1st July. I say he's either naive or drugged to the eyeballs. It'll never happen. Do we all agree?
-
Once more playing Saints has resulted in the kiss of death for the opponents manager. Would love to know how many managers have lost their job after playing Saints. Happens uncannily too often.

Did Sandra Redknapp ever get rid of their luxury Yacht "BUNG"? Otherwise I think it's high time for Harry to get onboard and sail into the sunset.

Really gutted to realise the meaning behind Chappers tweets about Teddy. Most awful thing to happen to parents and especially a truly nice guy like Richard. All my prayers and my condolences to Richard Chaplow and his family. R.I.P. Teddy
-
I read elsewhere he was saying he'd quit if he doesn't get a transfer chest to buy players. One thing is certain, Harry sn't going to be at QPR next season. TalkSport during the night, were really laying into his failures, especially at Saints, and don't expect him to be around there much longer.

3 million lost because we couldn't brat Stoke. Pochettino, you now have a transfer window, pre season and 10 games to prove your worth. I don't buy the inability to win over the past 6 games. Don't blame the players bar Lallana being Captain, Pochettino doesn't know how to change tactics and use the players we have. Atrocious end of season
