he wasnt spanish, he was Turkish. And it was nothing to do with the free kick.

...oh, and does it count as cheating if you think about the missus while youre banging the girlfriend?

whats going on here? I was convinced gordon cowans had played for us as well, did he turn out in a testimomial or a friendly or something? Or is it some kind of mental link with another Gordon that did play for us, who else was in the squad when gordon watson was here (or have I got that wrong as well hahahaaa)

I had the exact same thing happen to me in east street, except the guy said it was because he had to get back home to stoke on trent. Now I lived in stoke for three years, so I asked him what part of stoke, he said "hhrrrrmmm, the east side I think", so I said which one of the potteries is it then? He just glowered and stalked off. And that said, I still felt slightly guilty, wtf?

I did ask O'RLY for more info earlier in this thread, this was his reply.

a landlord I knew (dss housing, not boozer) once smacked one of his tenants in the face, no idea why. He was a tw*t btw, and imo fully deserved the 2 years he drew. And before anyone thinks he was a friend, he wasnt, he was very loosely related on my wifes side, her brother's father in law.

+1!! HANG THE WITCH!!!! (didnt read the rest of these posts......)

nasty. A glassings a bit different when you get to court tho, isnt it?

How reliable do you reckon your friend's son is, and do you reckon thats accurate? if it is, LB is likely to be facing rather more than a fine and community service imho

They certainly abandoned the old working class, but the "socialist" tag fades somewhat when you consider its economic implications. They embraced free-market economics and privatisation with more venom than thatcher ever did, and the slew of PFI contracts under new labour was horrific. And politically, they were far more right-wing than any socialist administration would care to admit, there was nothing left-wing about them that I can discern.
-
remember the furore about those 2 scratters that went thieving in a p*rtsmouth nightclub? I imagine that if it turns out that LB has lamped somebody all hell will break loose on here

being 49 and with the marriage shackles firmly in place that infos not a hell of a lot of use to me mate, but thanks for the thought. And I was joking, winchesters ok, I always liked the Exchange and the Jolly Farmer when I worked up there.

Woman Has A Bizarre Relationship With A Door
scotty replied to Saint in Paradise's topic in The Muppet Show
lmao!!! if shes that athletic with a door, imagine what she'd be like in bed.... (and there must be a doorknob joke lurking somewhere) -
oh b*ll*cks. Great start to a monday then

R4 news bulletin said this evening that the threat has been narrowed down to france and germany. Interesting, given that they were two european countries that avoided getting caught up in iraq.......
-
in the proper spirit of this thread I'll defer to your greater knowledge of the subject
-
come off it mate, do you honestly believe the new labour project bore any resemblance to socialism?
-
nail, meet head. Thats exactly the way I see it. And I would love to have access to the hitchhikers guide improbability drive, go back to before the iraq invasion, put the lib/con coalition in place and see if we still invaded.

if you deduct the looks/personality/charisma/electability from the equation, I guess youre right. I'm left-wing politically and I'd like to see labour doing well after the hideous travesty of the blair reign, but I can't see it happening under this gormless tw*t. I think the party hierarchy know that, and that he's just a temporary bullet-taker while they sort out someone credible, probably about a year from the election.
