It is a common problem, happened to me just before xmas. Sadly there is not much you can do. Have to ring up Sony and ask them to fix it for you which is a mission in itself. But it will be cheaper then having to buy a whole new system.

I am not a western fan normally and it was a gift from myself Either way the point was to just say i didn't want it. At the time i listed it i was the only one on ebay with it up on there so wanted people to realise it was a genuine code and not a scam.

You need to get the Lasso mate some great times to be had with it! Like roping someone, hog tying them, then leaving them on train tracks for a train! Or if you leave them in the hills and put bait near them you watch what happens As i said the game is brutal! When you do the horse breaking in mission with bonnie early in the game she gives you the lasso. To use it you just press L1 then select it on the left. Then aim with L2 as if you were aiming with a gun. When your close enough to your target press R2 to fire while still holding on to L2. Always keep hold of L2 if you don't the target will escape. Then while holding l2 walk up to the target and press triangle and you will hogtie them. You can then pick them up and carry them or put them on your horse!

Ok well have played it for a good few hours now. And think it is one of the best games i have played! It reminds me a lot more of San Andreas then GTA4, which is a good thing. Some really really random things happen. Like your meet random people all over the place. I bumped into a carriage stopped on the side of the road. A man was flagging me down, as i got closer i could see dead bodies on the floor. The guy flagging me down was a Marshal who had an accident. The dead guys on the floor where some prisoners he was transfering. He said 2 had escaped and could i go bring them in. So off i go. I laso them in turn and bring them in and they are tied up on the floor. The Marshal say's thanks a lot and gives me cash in typical Rockstar tradition when completing a mission. As i walk off to gt back on my horse i take one final look at the carnage on the floor and with that the Marshal pulls out his gun and shoots the two alive prisoners in the head! I could not believe it. He then got on one of the horses and buggered off! The game is full to the brim with these type of things. They are not missions as such just random events that can happen at any time in any place. Awesome game!

So on The News summer sale AA say's he expects to recoup £15m from player sales. I am trying to figure out how he think's he can make that from the players who are actually owned by them and not out of contract. Utaka - 28 years old scored 7 goals in 70 games. Cost £7m - maybe sell for £3m Mokoena - 30 years old - maybe sell for £1m Mullins - 31 year old - maybe sell for 500k Brown - 33 year old - will not get a fee for him Nugent - 25 year old - career has nose dived maybe get £1.5m for him Smith - Will be 30 soon - career has been stop start, 1 goal in last 20 odd games. Maybe £1m for him. Boateng - 23 years old - A hit and miss player, very inconsistent - £3m maybe. Ben haim - 29 year old - Seems to move clubs every year, clubs below his current one - £1m max. Wilson - 22 year old. Their player with most potential but still very inexperienced £2m maybe. Belhadj - Soon to be 28. Another hit and miss player who moves a lot. £2m maybe. They are their only goodish players and all together make £15m based on my valuation. The problem is everyone knows they have to sell or they will go under. And being in the CCC now means they are obviously not in a strong position to keep them. So if those players actually go for £15m is another question!

Ok i got my copy today for my PS3. Thus far really enjoy it but only an hour in. I got the limited edition version which comes with all the dlc. Had a quick look on ebay and saw they were selling for like £17 for just one of the codes! So bunged mine on ebay

By that logic we would never progress in technology. It is like tape vs cds. After paying loads of money to replace your tape player with a cd player wouldn't you expect your cd to be cd quality? The song is the same just one sounds better then the other. The same goes for vision. If you went into a shop and saw a saints shirt for £40 and next to it was a slightly faded one would you buy that version over the normal looking one? They are the same shirt? Same principle to games, you expect multiplatform games to be equal.

Think i will stick with my PS3 version because i will not pay to play online!

Here is some screen a guy did who has both so you get an idea of how mad i am at Rockstar for being lazy. 360 version PS3 version And here is another that someone did 360 version with the bits there PS3 version with the bits gone So as you can see it is not just the color difference, that you can maybe accept. They have actually removed a lot of the vegitation and actual objects from the PS3 version. It is a lousy port by the looks of it. I think i might swap my copy for 360 version.

Basically the guy's at 3d beyond (pixel junkies) have confirmed that the PS3 version is running at 640p. Which means it is sub HD. Translated into english means it is running at a 20% lower resolution then the other version. If you look at those pics you linked you can clearly see a difference and tell which is which without needing to see. The top one is a lot clearer. lighter and crisp. While the bottom one look's more dark and slightly blured. The actual experience will be identical regardless of what version you get. But the problem is Rockstar seem to always do this, GTA4 was the same. For some reason they cannot develop for the PS3 as other developers can (i.e Square Enix,Konami). We are almost entering the 5th year that PS3 has been out. You think with all that time they would get it done by now. I am still getting it for PS3, and at least we get some extras that 360 doesn't get for a week

Reviews wise it is at 95% metacritic making it the 3rd highest rated game this gen on ps3 (1st is GTA4, 2nd Uncharted 2) and 5th highest game on 360 (GTA4,Bioshock,HL2,Mass Effect 2). Gamespot gave it a 9.5/10 score just now too

Nah not out until friday in uk. Came out in US today. Game have taken my cash so maybe i will get it tomorrow.

They need to lower the price of brand new games in my view. If they were cheaper to buy the 2nd hand market would not be so popular. If you pay £40 for a game and hate it then you will obviously try and get some of your cash back or swap it for something else. It is a bit of a gamble, a lot less so then if your like a film or new cd etc.. They cost about £8 so obviously re-sell value is not so high. Games will always have a popular 2nd hand market until it becomes pointless to sell them on.

I do boxing and have for about 10 years now. If your wanting to get into shape i can't recomend it enough. You don't need to actually fight if you don't want too but the actual preperation is very good. Even if you can't be arsed with that just getting a punch bag and a few dumbells will do. Do a 30min session on the bag and 15 on the weights and your be sorted in no time. I also find smacking stuff quite Therapeutic as can relieve a lot of stress. But they say if you want to lose weight must remember that it is 90% diet, 10% exercise. No point running around doing all the hard work if your eating enough for 5 every day

The way i see it Surman tried to do us a favour. We were in admin and didn't looklike the takeover was going to happen. We got some money for him and that must have kept us going a bit longer. So i would be delighted to see Drew back here. He could deffinatly do a job for us. You don't become a bad player over night, he just needs to feel wanted and i'm sure would fit well into our current style. As mentioned above though Surman is a fine example of why jumping to the PL from the FL is not always a good thing. In the past 12 months players like Lallana have progressed in talent due to playing week in and week out. Surman has not played much at all.

love this quote "you saw what the players did on the pitch" Yeah they had like 1 shot all game, never got out their own half for most of it and if it wasen't for some dire finishing by Chelsea it would of been a mauling. I did not see anything worth being proud of out there for the players. They played crap and rightly lost!

And now Orford and all those saying Pompey deserve to be there because the suffering the fans have had to go through will now see what real suffering is. They have not suffered one bit. But now the only way is down. The manager will go, the players will go, the crowds will continue to go down, they will likely start the season with a points deduction and their youth squad. When they are losing on cold winter nights in the middle of nowhere then they will understand what they have done. Mr Orford, you have not suffered one bit. Let's see if your claim that Pompey are the most loyal fans in the world is true next season!

I think it goes to show that a lot of our squad were injury prone! There are more who hopefully will be moved on I.e pulls, molyneux, wotton, forecast, etc. I don't think pardew would release so many if he was not given a nice size transfer budget. Wish all those gone the best of luck!

In a strange way i actually want them to win. Maybe getting a 89th min penalty by one of their players diving in the box. Because i think majority of people are thinking "let them enjoy their day out, they will get thrashed and were never hear from them again". Which is true. But if they win then that will make people start asking the questions that need to be asked. Chelsea will be ****ed so can imagine grief from their side. The FA will see these cheats celebrating with their trophy which will tarnish the cup's name. I think at that point things will turn nasty for them. And i for one will love it. But if not i will be happy with an 8-0 drubbing by Chelsea

Solent said ML was unhappy. They did not say why. So how did The Echo get from that toML is unhappy at our results, NC is ****ed off, see's it as a bad season and thus will sack Pardew on tues and potentially bring in Cotterill. Make legends of this club believe what they are saying so they comment on it etc etc. I'm sorry but the way i see it they won't take an ounce of responsibility for their mistakes always passing it off onto other sources.
