Yep. As it stands we are 4th. If those teams win their games in hand we will all be on same points. These last two results (if we lose) really have cost us.

You know its bad when Dave hasen't a clue what tactics we are playing....

Ah ffs Our bench looks really weak. Only player on there who could do something is Barnard. And some people think we don't need any signings....

We are playing a lot better that is for sure. Just need to take one of our chances. If we score next i think we can go on to win it. So as they say next goal is massive!

Nope we got 45 mins to turn it around. We have come back from behind to win 3 times this season already so can be done. But the way we are playing does seem to happen quite often. Brentford/Colchester/Brighton/Notts/Carlisle/Yeovil are the ones i can remember off the top of my head.

To be fair though we should be beating teams like Tranmere/Notts and Oldham. I don't think many people went into those games thinking we were the underdogs or shouldn't win it.

Your right! Thanks for pointing that out. It says "The former England star first contacted the club on Tuesday last week to buy 10 tickets for friends and family" It does not mention once they were for himself. Either way the story is probably a load of ********. He got 3 tickets so don't see the problem. Having none at all and being banned from St Marys would be something totally different. But that is the way people seem to be taking it.

So basically he didn't want a ticket for himself, he wanted 10 tickets for his friends? Obviously a huge MLT fan but if he wants to get friends in the game maybe he should buy a box or something.

I think we need at least another couple of signings. My main worry is midfield. When things click we do alright. But when they don't we just fall down. Games like the Notts County one have happened a few times and personally i think that is down to lack of depth in that area. If everybody is fit and on form obviously we don't have a problem. But as shown at the weekend if Lallana isn't playing and Alex is having an off day we sort of grind to a halt. Our bench at the weekend was Bialkowski, Harding, Butterfield, Seaborne, Gobern, Barnard, Doble. Gobern being our only real midfielder. If we have that bench for the rest of the season i think we should worry a little. The other player i think we need is a pacey striker. Someone who can get in behind the defence to do 1 on 1's with the keeper. We don't really have a front man like that in the team. More of your holding type players. It would be nice to have someone we can launch it to and try and counter attack fast. We will not be going the rest of the season without injuries/suspensions.

Pretty crap game really. Lucky not to lose it at the end. But we didn't lose. Just a shame we are now further from the top.

Totally agree. I just don't like the guy. I respect what he has done. It has been a pretty amazing feat if you think about it considering the resources he had. But for a guy to talk about loyalty and how "i have a project to finish here, i couldn't leave it half finished" only a few days ago to what we have seen today has he really been loyal? If we take his words he spoke to 5 supposed clubs. It is rumoured that he was very close to joining either Palace or Charlton. He even said at one point he expected to go. By talking to so many clubs in my view gives the impression you want to leave. There is nothing wrong with that. Everyone wants to go up their professions career ladder. Especially if your nearer the bottom. That is totally normal. But it seems with every rumour he comes out talking in code. Look at the difference between how he talks about it and how others do. When Adkins was in talks he confirmed it. He said we were going through the right channels. He didn't feel the need to talk in riddles, he just answered the questions. With Howe it just never seems clear cut. It would not surprise me one bit to find out those other clubs chose someone else ahead of him. Like the Saints job. I think we can all agree he at least applied for it. But Cortese says he was never offered it, only one person was and that was Adkins. Howe is a good manager. I just don't think he is as honest as people try and make out.

I think he deserves a stand named after him for sure. Without the guy we could of gone under. There would of been no club to support. Our long history really could of come to an end if this great man had not stepped in and saved us. And then on top of that he helped to re-build the infrastructure behind the scenes which will hopefully go on to keep us in good stability for many years to come. However i don't think the stadium should be named after him. It should remain St Marys as we all know the connection between that and our club. It was in our name for a period, it is where we are from. It should never be forgotten in my opinion.

Adkins has/is doing very very well. He seems a nice genuine guy who tries to tell it like it is. You can feel the positivity he radiates. And for me that is the biggest difference to the club. As he says it is just three points ad the end of the day. It is what happens over the next few months what really matters and i think we could be starting to hit form at the right time. If we can stay injury free i have no doubt Adkins will go on to help us win the league this year. Keep up the good work it is as simple as that!

By vital players i assume you mean Waigo and Antonio right? There is no doubt about it the team misses them. But AOC is in my view doing just as good as antonio did. He only scored 3 goals in 28 games don't forget. Alex has scored 4 in 15 games with a large amount of those games being sub apearances. Waigo in my book is the bigger loss but that is only because we haven't got a striker like him in the team. Plus add to that Lambert is not scoring so it makes the situation look worse. So while those 2 going have made the team weaker it isn't by much. If one of our strikers was in form we probably wouldn't even notice they are not here tbh.

Of course it won't. You can get some really expensive Blu-Ray players that have alsorts of gizmos in them like internet tv from Bravia. But if your buying it just to watch Blu-Rays then it is cheaper then buying a ps3 as they both show the same thing. They both play high definition blu rays. Thus watching blu ray films on it is "as good" as watching it on the ps3.

Personally i don't care how we get promotion just that we do. It could be a playoff final vs Yeovil with us scoring an 89th minute goal from a deflected shot off someones ass! As long as we get there then that is all that matters. Adkins inherited a good squad of players. They are averaging a 52% win ratio under his 17 games in charge. That is pretty good. They had a 65% win ratio under Pardews last 17 games (including his 5 this year). That shows the team is good enough to be up there, they should be up there. If they are not then let's face it the manager and players will have underperformed on an epic scale! The xmas period will give us a better idea of where the team is at under Adkins. He will then have a transfer window to plug some of the holes and drop players who are not performing. Whatever happens people will not be able to judge the season on the first 5 games we played.

After reading various posts over the last couple of weeks i have started to notice a sort of shift in some peoples expectations for this season. A few results have not gone our way, had some injuries, players going out on loan etc. It would seem a few now think our squad is not good enough to get promoted this year. So i was wondering just what kind of % of our fanbase thinks this? or does the majority still expect us to get promoted? Maybe the mods could put up a poll with some options like Expectations are: Promotion (including winning playoffs) Get to playoffs (not necessarily winning the playoffs) Mid-table Just avoid a relegation battle Something like that? Me personally my expectations have not changed at all. I still expect promotion.

They got the new Aliens Vs Predator as part of todays deals for about £3. Surely the game must be worth at least that? Just Cause 2 for a fiver and Bully for £2.50 is pretty awesome too!

In terms of games and how games look and play they are the same. Some people will try and claim one looks better then the other and one has better performance then the other but is just fanboyism really. Some games run better on one, and some run better on the other. 99% of the time that is down to the developers and how good they are with the hardware. Some get it spot on and some don't. Like take Rockstar for example. They get their games running great on 360 but for some reason just can't emulate it on the PS3. That isn't because the PS3 can't handle it, it is because Rockstar just can't get to grips with the hardware in the same way they can the 360. Multi-platform games tend to use the 360 as the lead platform because it is the console that has sold the most in the world and has a far higher sell rate in US. Most software sales come from the US so they try and maximise that market. But 9 times out of 10 both games will look identical.

The reason i have both is because you get best of both worlds. There are a lot of games that are only available on one of the consoles.
