Daily Echo - LALLANA Fulham bid rejected...SPURS INTEREST TOO
exit2 replied to exit2's topic in The Saints
Yep your right both players did hand in a transfer request. The reasoning behind is that once they have done they waver all remaining payments of signing on fees, appearance monies, contractual monies and appearance money from the pot. It happens all over the leagues especially when a big money move is on the cards for the player. On the other hand if a club wishs to sell a player, then the club still has to honour a percentage of the lost wages from that contract. People read to much into this transfer request business as personally I think it like a back hander. -

TBH contracts are worth **** all in the present world of football. What they do is insure is 1. SFC can use it as a lever for more money in Jan if necessary 2. Safe guards AL's employment in football. A contract these days is there just for financial gain for both parties. -
Daily Echo - LALLANA Fulham bid rejected...SPURS INTEREST TOO

I agree. The gut is 19yrs old with approx 10 games as a pro. I suspect the bid was 500,000 or around that and not a couple of million because he would have been gone if that was the case -
On the back of the Echo today it says we turned down a bid for Adam Lallana? Its the first I have heard of it also confirmed the Reading bid for Surman? Due to the money situation at the club I guess these bids were not substantial or has the money from Davies kept the wolves form the door for a period ie.e the banks are happy? Personally Im guessing that the Fulham bid was poor as if any decent money involved would have seen him leave as we know that Surman would have gone for definate if Boro had brought the other reading player. SO come January dependent on league position, attendances, etc do think we will see improved bids and player sales?

Jan, Itchen college ran a dreamweaver course earlier this year. So give them a ring

in a nutshell no, unless when you save it you select the earlier version you need. Or you get get the reciever to download the backward convertor. This is a real pain in the ass for us at work at it seems more and more companies have upgraded and assume everone else has!
-
We see it at work all the time with HP's, Acers, Dell and even the toughbooks. To be honest Steve, I can send off for a FPR (fixed price repair) but I would look at getting a new one as the cost is near enough the same
-
Rangers for me. Only because it has been drilled into me by my dad! I wont goto into the politics but think you get my drift
-
Just looking at attendances for the first few games in the league. The average is 18095 http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/DivisionalAttendance/0,,10794~20087,00.html
-
IMHO We now have a core of approx 20,000 fans. The fact it was 1. On Sky, 2. In Holiday season played a major factor. The cost is too much especially in the current times. Plus past league results havent been good!

Premier League Arsenal (highbury not the Emirates) Aston Villa Blackburn Rovers Bolton Wanderers (Burnden Park) Chelsea Everton Fulham Liverpool Manchester City (Maine Road) Manchester United Middlesbrough Newcastle United Portsmouth Stoke City Sunderland (Roker Park) Tottenham Hotspur West Bromwich Albion West Ham United Wigan Athletic Birmingham City Bristol City Cardiff City Charlton Athletic Coventry City Crystal Palace Derby County Doncaster Rovers Ipswich Town Norwich City Nottingham Forest Plymouth Argyle Queens Park Rangers Reading Sheffield United Sheffield Wednesday Southampton Swansea City Watford Wolverhampton Wanderers Brighton & Hove Albion Bristol Rovers Carlisle United Cheltenham Town Colchester United Crewe Alexandra Huddersfield Town Leeds United Leicester City Leyton Orient Millwall Northampton Town S****horpe United Southend United Stockport County Swindon Town Tranmere Rovers (mmmmmmm 3 nil up lol) Walsall Yeovil Town Aldershot Town Barnet Bournemouth Bradford City Brentford Chester City Exeter City Gillingham Grimsby Town Luton Town Notts County Port Vale Rochdale Shrewsbury Town Wycombe Wanderers This is mostly in the 80's and 90's when I didnt have a missus and used to work all over the uk.....not much to do in Macclesfield on a Tuesday night apart from the footy
-
I had one of these and was my pride and joy. Am looking out for another one soon to do up if I can convince the missus

I agree but it was obvious today that after 30 mins or so it was not. Today JP's tactics were very poor. The defence was pulled out of position with MS and CP running their nuts off as the full backs were no where to be seen. The other point which I know I have been on about before is this one up front. On several occasions today LH was pinging in crosses and there was no in the box!

basic port forwarding is to 1. create a rule / application i.e FM08 2. type in the port numbers 10093-94 and the type inthe local address of your pc / server on your network (192.168.0.1 or what ever it is) This also depends on if you have a static ip for your router. Basically any network traffic on ports 10093 hits your router and it then forwards to your pc/ server
-
Long hard season ahead I feel. JP needs to look at varying tactics during games and stop playing one up front as showed today.
-
what router do you have?

So reading the posts / time above, it seems that those complaining about the boos were not even there! Have to say near enough everyone around me was booing at the final whistle, and to be honest if they paid their money to watch that crap today they have the right to boo. We have seen enough crap football like today for the past couple of seasons.
-
Well we were taught a lesson in football today. The best team won. I thought JP's tactics were shocking as the game went on. Wotton and SJ should have come on earlier. KD was awesome in goal, but I think the back four were sucked out of position on most of Blackpools attacks. And I know I keep on about it but this playing one up front does not work!!
