The game today (& TBH most of the season) summed in in one brief moment ...... 5 mins to go, we are losing 1 nil, our season is ebbing away & JWP has the ball at his feet - what does he do? Hit a penetrating ball though the WHU defence?? spray a ball out wide for a wide man to get in a cross?? NO, he just stands there, WALKS with the ball across the centre centre & passes another 10 yd pass side ways. No urgency, no balls, no passion .... 2022 / 2023 season in a nutshell!!
