  1. Thursday started the weekend for me as there were no trains to southampton so I ended up staying at my mates. Friday - had to pay over £17 to get from mates to uni and back for one seminar and a tutor meeting (still wondering if that was worth it) Saturday - spent the day looking for somewhere to live in portsmouth. There was a lot of traffic and i felt quite sad on the way back. But I did find somewhere. Sunday - Nothing special in the morning (something to do with a part for a car) then fireworks at legoland in the afternoon/evening. Going on the log flume in the dark was quite cool. 5/10 - I know i need to move (and i certainly want to!!!) but it's a lot of effort and I have 3 presentations to do for uni atm so have limited time available.
  2. 5/10 but 3 were luck
  3. Indeed you are right. Allow me to replace it the word with 'idiots'
  4. I had two parcels delivered on the same day only I wasn't in so they left two while you were out cards. When I went to collect them they could only find one. After about 3 weeks of phoning them I eventually get a phone call saying that he had put the parcel though my door and a while you were out card so it was the same parcel. Do they really think i'm that stupid??? I never did receive it. Lucky it wasn't expensive because I lost the money. I too have had the signature thing ripped off and the recorded parcel left outside the door. Having had my credit card cut off 3 times because they don't deliver my statements to the correct address I was told by them "we only get the statements the day before we need to deliver them. TNT do the rest. Therefore it's not our fault they don't arrive" WTF??? Stupid. Useless. Ididots... and many other more rude words that one would say out of frustration.

Do we have the same postman? Ours is AWFUL
  6. Well I live with Steve so that's nothing new. The reason it was so good was because I had a really good first day back at work and had an amazing night as part of my 21st celebrations. I'm looking forward to next weekend being 10/10...
  7. Much to my disappointment of not meeting you, I will be away at a theme park going on lots of roller coasters Maybe the weekend after. lol
  8. Awwww. That's really sad (but also adorable) I hope they/it didn't get scared or hurt. My stupid mother fed a hedgehog milk once. That was a sad day. You could be like a hedgehog stalker with the tracking devices. Could have them all bleeping on a big screen and look like something out of 24. Or am I thinking about this too much :-? Can anyone tell i'm at uni today?
  9. I used to take my rats for walks up the road on their little red lead and it was great. However, I don't fancy spending all night, every night, walking around with a hedgehog. I might get too tired to go to uni or work. Possibly. Though I must admit it would be cool if the hedgehog was about during the day and I could take it for walks like a dog. Now there's a plan. Looks like I need to ask for that puppy again tonight
  10. Tonight - housework, homework, very early night Saturday - work very early in the morning till the afternoon, relax/sleep a bit and then out in pompey with uni people to get drunk and go dancing as part of my 21st celebrations Sunday - nurse hangover, possibly food shopping and go to bfs parents for dinner Next weekend is going to be better!
  11. Everyone's always on his side! :smt042 They are pretty cute but I don't think we have the room. I think they require lots of outdoors space because they walk a lot in the night. Could just let it out at night but i'm pretty sure we'd lose it on the first night and then this might happen :smt010
  12. Shall we get one for christmas? (or maybe that puppy i've been wanting, which i'm sure you haven't noticed)
  13. I found a load of them under the shoe rack the other day. I may have saved them if i had known. As i didn't i killed a lot of them and just removed the bottom shelf off the shoe rack and threw the whole lot in the outside bin. Annoying things. I'm not sure why such a large amount attached themselves to one shelf rather then spreading out, but i'm not complaining as it made them easier to remove
  14. It certainly doesn't take 6 months! I had an enhanced one done and it only took a couple of weeks. The more ID you show them the faster it comes back so if he wants it to be as slow as possible only give them the ID they absolutely need. I would say his best chance is to be honest before it comes back.
  15. I'm so sorry to hear what you're going though. Don't give up. Keep doing the best you can to see you little boy as much as possible. When you do see him remind him you love him and miss him very much. I don't know how old he is - can you speak to him on the phone? A phone call every night would help keep you in his everyday life. In my experience call at the exact time that's arranged. Certainly go and see a lawyer to see what your options are... and try to upset your ex as little as possible. I'm not saying appease her but just ensure you vent your frustration somewhere that's not shouting at her. As hard as i'm sure that'll be. Easy for me to say. I don't have children so can't possibly know how hard this is for you. I really hope you manage to find a way to spend some more time with your son. Best of luck to you!
  16. ... Who can turn water into wine at half time for us all to enjoy
  17. This is my favourite bit (If you don't read the rest of the sentence): "The man Lowe has chosen to nurture his young team is Jan Poortvliet, carpenter"
  18. No - i'd get a toyota corolla.... and an andrex puppy, a big house, a horse and a dish washer.
  19. Abbey are doing a good one. It's for a year. You have access to your money all the time. If you take any out then you get 5% but if you leave it for a year then you get 6.5%. It's like a year bond only you can take some out without too much 'punishment'. I've just set up a regular saver at over 7% there which i'm pretty impressed with. It really depends on how much you want to save, lump sum or regular saver, and how much access do you need to it.
  20. According to their site they're not for sale (unless a really good offer appears): http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/index.php?cms_ref=home&goto=news&qs_article_id=1579
