Precisely their comments reflected most posters on the Forum. I am sure they were only answering questions put to them not ring up the media demanding Pardew should stay
-
Yes I agree with you things are looking good and I really enjoyed last season attending more matches than in the recent past I am looking forward to next season as well. However possibly NC should learn something from this whole episode regarding the Role of the Media in the UK. I think often stories bear little truth and contain points to suit their own agenda. However the media exists warts and all and it is probably in the clubs interest to accomodate them rather than doing the opposite Perhaps he should get a little advice on how to handle them better so as a fan I receive more valid information than I am at the present. I obviously read this forum for information but most is rumour and conjecture which is not really surprising very little which is posted ever comes to be but we all discuss and sometimes get cross with fellow posters who have different takes on the situation

Yes going out now but I will be back later to see what the future holds. Whatever happens I think the future is very bright

It is surprising how many teams which have recently been in League 1 Nottm Forest Blackpool Swansea Leicester etc are in the top 8 of the CCC. Perhaps there is not such a large gulf between the CCC and League 1 as there is between the CCC and the Premier League
-
Sorry I thought it was a meeting to discuss the future which has been hijacked to be a meeting to sack Pardew
-
No but I can see ML setting up a meeting to get NC and AP to work together in a proper manner and define what is expected in the coming season
-
I do agree with what you are saying although Burley was a reasonable manager before he arrived at St Mary's but next season is going to be very important for Leicester and NP. I saw somewhere he was being touted for the West Ham Job But he is lucky that the teams coming down from the Premier League I doubt will be pressing for promotion

The only fact is there is a rumour - it does not mean that the contents of the rumour are factual. Just because I said that apparently Pardew has failed which is not a fact but is a rumour does not mean that I agree with the statement. It is a forum to discuss SFC and all the possibilities not just putting forward your own points of view. For what its worth I think having a five year plan is OK but not telling people what it contains and what corrective measures will be taken if it flounders is not a good idea especially also if the Plan actually changes. My plan would have been year 1 Get AP to build a squad which would would try to get to the playoffs but it would not be a failure providing we were performing really well if we did not. Not many relegated teams with -10 get promoted the following season Do well in the JPT Year 2 With a decent squad put every effort into getting promoted. So my plan is Ok but whether NC's is I have no idea only rumours it is not. However I would not be unhappy if we did not get promoted next season which is unlikely in League 1 the tickets are relatively cheap we win regularly and I see teams like MK Dons Southend and Hartlepool who I have never seen before

I think your lack of ability in not being able to think logically maybe counter balanced by your ability to be rude. It maybe pedantic but the only fact is that there is a rumour
-
Was Jack Cork playing?
-
The hard facts are there are rumours that NC/ML think AP has failed otherwise this thread would not be running but I am pleased with progress so I dont see why AP should be sacked
-
I hate the Daily Mail more than you but could they be right? I think I would like ML to be there to keep NC under control and to see that NC/AP work together for the future
-
Yes it was against Notts in 1977 I was there and also at Lords where Middx beat us in the QFs
-
Well a couple of weeks ago they were at each others throats I wonder what has changed
-
Yes you are right - Dont think he will stand
-
He was recently a member of the Bank of England Monetary Committee until very recently
-
They can only expand if they can get loans but Unemployment could affect the Private Sector if IT Projects or Capital Construction are cancelled
-
Dont think Labour were really behind the Pact with at least five MPs including Blunkett Abbott and Reid being very critical of the whole thing on the Monday night
-
Possibly as he did not challenge Brown in 2007 maybe held against him But Probably him or his brother Ed
-
Yes it will go up if there are spending cuts more than if there were no spending cuts
-
Did you see the interview with Professor Blanchflower who completely disagreed. I studied a little Economics at University 40 years ago and came to opinion that economists hardly ever agree. Dont think he said that unemployment was falling because clearly it is not and will continue to rise Yes I do think highly of Alistair Campbell
-
But they did lose their next match v Brentford I think
-
I think that was down to Thatcher in the 1980s when the Manufacturing Industry was decimated and Big Bang Happened But in the Global Economy it is difficult to compete with India/China. I worked for a Software Company who bought an Indian do do most of the coding work
-
I dont think he said it was going down but that it was not as bad as was expected. He did acknowledge the recovery was fragile and that cutting should be delayed until the recovery was assurred However, the total number of people claiming unemployment benefit fell in April by 27,100 to 1.52 million - a sharper fall than expected which you may be getting confused with.

I wish the SadoldGit Alpine spats could be stopped as well
