Thats plain ridiculous how does somebody know that

As a matter of interest in what era did Saints win often away from home Over the years I have watched the Saints away from home especially in London Area without seeing many particularly good performances whilst in the top division Lost 7 1 to Watford in 1980 Home results however were much better I feel at the Dell in particular
-
I think the only place the club is a shambles is in your head Unless you work at SFC you have little idea what is happening with regard to transfers and planning for the future You might find it strange but I usually think that people employed in an organization are doing the best to meet the goals of it apart of course for Boris and the Tory Government SFC has limited financial muscle but still manages a few cup runs and has been in the PL for a longtime which makes me think it is not a shambles Because it does not have money for high wages it is pretty difficult for SFC to attract the better players and has to sell players
-
Do you really think that many of the new players would have got into Koeman's Saints team They are young and inexperienced and make mistakes We have no stand out strikers and limited creative players WE have two full backs who are not match fit Only KWP JWP Romeu would get into other PL teams plus S Armstrong who appears to have fitness issues
-
Coady is Everton's fourth signing of the summer following the arrivals of centre-back James Tarkowski and forward Dwight McNeil from Burnley and defender Ruben Vinagre from Wolves. I would be pleased if some of them were they were at Southampton
-
I think you have comprehensively shown that we have mostly a squad devoid of talent if you think Adams is one of our top players. PS I do not disagree in any way what you are saying but FFS Adams is not consistently good
-
Nothing has changed because we have not really improved the squad we have got a few young players in but nobody outstanding. Spurs finished 4th in the PL last season and have spent loads of money on improving the squad. WE have not done that so consequently our performances have not improved
-
Why? This is the worst squad of players we have ever had in the PL
-
Rather like you perhaps
-
I have been watching Saints for nearly 60 years and can ensure you that he is not a decent striker he is adequate one like Norman Dean or Frank Saul or Bobby Stokes I have been very lucky to see decent strikers like Ron Davies George O'Brien Martin Chivers Peter Osgood Micky Channon Steve Moran MLT Alan Shearer Frank Worthington Charlie George Colin Clarke Peter Crouch Henri Camara Ted McDougal Phil Boyer James Beattie Kevin Keegan Rod Wallace and a few others in Saints colours
-
Apart from Ings when did we last get in a decent striker when we were were in the PL We have needed a decent striker for ages
-
Joe Kirkup came from Chelsea as part of the Deal with David Webb John Mortimore assistant manager I think also came from Chelsea Cliff Huxford who played in two promotion winning teams in the 1950s and 1960s came from Chelsea too
-
Good performance shows that the players are all decent players lets hope they show that they are decent players in the PL where a great many are more than decent
-
So what players has Ralph currently ruined not JWP KWP Romeu S Armstrong Tino Salisu surely
-
Yes I agree but doubt either want to come here
-
The owners should be congratulated for investing in the club I am not particularly interested where we finish this season as long as relegation does not happen Because these youngsters mature in future seasons and with more aquisitions we should be a much more competitive side
-
If he is going to be the next Harry Kane why would Man City want to sell him surely if our head of recruiting know that the people at Man City know that too I think they currently want to loan out Delap
-
Because he does not want to play in a lower placed PL team
-
The main point I make from experience I am 76 years old is that experience does count especially with footballers. Take JWP he is now our best player but 5 years ago he probably was not but he has improved year by year which hopefully will happen to the young players we have just bought But there is no guarantee for that Getting a team with lots of young players is a risk which the club wants to take but I have no idea of what they want for the club next season and whether that meets the fans needs I do not go to games now but when I did go regularly and was a season ticket holder we had some top class attacking players and I watched some great games and there was little continual moaning about the club
-
At the moment I think Women's football will improve when there is an improvement in the basic skills will no doubt will come in the next few years The only non positive comment I would like to make is that it often takes ages for defenders to move the ball up the field from the RB/LB positions
-
Unfortunately I think this is the only way we are going to get a striker someone young who wants to progress We have only had Ings as a decent striker in recent years and only got him because of concerns about his injuries Lets hope I am wrong
-
You maybe correct but buying a decent striker is not easy especially as a club we do not pay really high wages and are not likely to be in the top half of the PL
-
Wants £180K a week apparently Nottingham Forest in advanced Jesse Lingard talks after lucrative offer | Nottingham Forest | The Guardian Seems unbelievable to me
-
I do not know what you consider struggling is but the results and form from the last part of the season suggest to many that we are candidates for relegation including the bookmakers so sending a young player to us is pretty risky I would have thought. City are trying to develop Delap so sending Delap to the Championship maybe a better option but being a striker in the PL is not easy
-
Why would Delap want to come to a struggling PL side which is probably going to be involved in a relegation fight May be better to go to Burnley in the Championship score a few goals get some confidence and develop
