I agree that Bournemouth bloke scored nearly thirty last season I think did not pose much of a threat on Wednesday

Why do you not just leave the Forum you obviously have little empathy to the situation within the club whereby without a massive injection of cash SFC is going to struggle in the PL and your snide comments may make you feel superior but in reality you appear a bit of a knob I really enjoyed the game last night it was nice to win and hear pisitive comments from Ralph Glen Hoddle Kevin Davies and Germaine Defoe as opposed to what you post It is going to be a hard struggle to remain in the PL but the manager and the players seem to be up to it It would be nice if all the fans were behind them instead of continually moaning and criticising as I for one would like them to suceed against the odds I think we have a poor squad in comparision to others I have seen over the years but last night they worked hard and got a deserved 3 points

Tactics has little to do with our problems the lack of decent players does which leads to terrible football If you think the present squad is under performing and would improve significantly with another manager with different tactics I think you are wrong the midfield six are without doubt the worst selection of players I have seen representing SFC between 1962 and 2005 and since our returnto the PL under Adkins Whether there are worse squads currently in the PL only time will tell

The PL has some of the best attacking players in the world who at some time or other will outwit the defence so having a decent goalkeeper will prevent all the chances they create becoming goals

Since we have been in the PL we have continually sacked managers only to find ourselves in the same position near the bottom of the leaue We have only done well when we have had decent players the present squad does not have of the quality of MLT Pahars Niemmi Beattie Svensson Tadic Mane VVD Lallans Shaw Schederlin etc Without investment in players we will continually struggle

I agree but at the moment the Policy of SR is not working because there are many players who are not that good

Slightly different I think Villa have some decent players and are performing badly we have very few decent players and are performing as expected

Lets hope Everton and Leicester continue to perform badly because Nottm Forest are probably already down

Do you not think that the players we have now are not very good we are in the PL without many experienced and talented PL players unlike most of the other teams in the league Do you really think another manager is going to make them start winning The whole idea of buying lots of young players and expecting to be competive is ridulous just like Lis Truss economic policies If it was a good idea why are not other players adopting the plan

We are going down because we have bought no experieced attacking players of quality for a long time

This team is probably worse than last season when we had Romeu Borja Forster and Tino available Although Ralph will probably go soon the attacking players he has at his disposal are pretty dire overall

Not a very persuave comment when clearly missed oppurtunities in scoring goals puts a lot ofstress on young defenders

We want some decent players not a dead beat manager like Smith who was sacked by Villa A striker who could score goals for instance would be a start

Very Good post but I would like to change you first sentence slightly If we signed that striker in the summer, that was probably going to be a pretty straight forward second half. Adams once again shows he cannot be relied on, the sad thing is that no one else can be relied on either to be clinical - we've got ourselves in a right old mess in attack, the worst we've been since I started watching SFC in 1962

Yes I agree it is our transfer policy is the root cause of the problem Without buying experienced players we are going to struggle and our young players are not going to develop but they may do so if we were in the Championship Tella seems to be doing well at Posters are saying Everton Villa and Wolves are winnable games but they are not because at the moment their players are better than ours Getting rid of Ralph maybe the solution but I cannot see how getting in a new manager will make Adams and Armstrong score more goals or the Goalkeeper make more saves but without loads of money to buy experienced players we are going to struggle whoever the manager is

I must admit I do not see what that will achieve we have tried numerous players but they are not very good not good enough to perform in the PL consistently Apart from KWP we have not recruited a really good PL player for ages I just do not think recruiting young players was ever a going to succeed We got a couple in last season Tino and Broja and that worked OK for a bit but we surely need experienced players and none of them want to come to SFC We could get in a new manager but realistically I cannot not see our forward players scoring many goals as fundamentaly we do not have many outstanding players and one that we have is not scoring any goals
