  1. So automatic Promotion is really unlikely then
  2. Very true but not a surprise really is it
  3. Considering we were 10 points from the play offs at the start of the season and are now 16 perhaps he has a point The season is approaching half way and we are still in the relegation zone
  4. Probably true but I am not unhappy where we are and how we are playing
  5. The facts seem to suggest that we are a middle of the table side at the moment
  6. We have only beaten one of the top ten in League 1 this season I think So Play Offs very unlikely 1 Leeds United 16 24 39 2 Charlton 17 13 33 3 Huddersfield 17 20 30 4 Colchester 17 13 30 5 Norwich 17 10 29 6 MK Dons 17 0 29 7 Bristol Rovers 17 -1 28 8 Millwall 17 8 25 9 Swindon 16 0 25 10 Walsall 17 1 24
  7. How many goals has he scored since his arrival?
  8. Not very constructive I would have thought
  9. Very true Play offs have been unlikely since the end of August
  10. Seems very reasonable to me but as Lallana's contract ends in 2011 I expect that he maybe sold soon
  11. He is just a footballer sometimes things go right sometimes they dont Ask Saga who probably has more skill than Lambert and has played in the Champions League
  12. A draw against Norwich is OK I would have thought.
  13. Will Norwich come for a draw? If they do 451 maybe the wrong formation. But with only three strikers available and one a novice 451 seems the best approach
  14. I agree with you
  15. Me too
  16. CB Fry was another so two Saints out of 12
  17. I have a friend of similar age who was a season holder at Charlton until they were relegated. A Londoner by birth who watched Fulham for years moved to Kent and wanted to watch the players of today.
  18. I think we are in a different situation now. Dan was a good signing as we needed a fullback to allow us to consolidate in League 1 Now I think we should be looking for higher quality players to take us to the CCC and beyond and I was asking the question whether a Coventry reject was of suitable quality for a contract If we were back in the summer it would have probably been a good move to have signed him
  19. I would have thought the so called Dutch Jokers know more about football than you or I Apart from that I think a very interesting post which I am in agreement with. I would have thought most would be happy with Davis for the next couple of years surely West Ham would not have wanted to recruit a poor goalkeeper .
  20. I do understand that Coventry are in the Division above us but they are not one of the better teams. Surely if he was any good they would want to keep him. If we are to progress we need to get in really good players otherwise when we get to the CCC we will have to start again in building a team.
  21. Yes I agree When we go up we need to be able to challenge in the CCC. If we build this season finish in the top ten and win the JPT I will be happy
  22. I sometimes wonder if Alpine posts as SOG to have an argument:confused: As most of SOG's posts seem to be directed at him
