On his day Davis is a very good keeper but is he really playing well at the moment?

Surely SFC want to get the most money they can for Lallana. Not sure they can offer him a contract that will acceptable to club and player. Dont think SFC will wait to 2011 to see what happens

I still doubt that we can get any really good loan players at the moment but I do agree in the transfer window we need a striker to replace Saga a CB to replace Trottman and a LM as Holmes does not fit Pardew's requirements

They are not dross they are professional footballers who have a contract with the club Holmes and Saga are good players but are never played Dont get me wrong we will need better players in the future but the squad is OK for League 1 at the moment surely

Quite right . It was a very good game against one of the better teams in the League and we drew. How people expect players to be perfect every game mystifies me

Probably not mathematically but Statistically our chance of Promotion is extremely small.

I was disappointed that we started so badly but we have done OK since. I wiil however be disappointed if we dont beat a few of the top teams this season so far I think we may have only beaten one top ten team in the league this season - MK Dons

Perhaps that is promotion form but there are a lot of clubs with similar form way up the table from us and it will be virtually impossible to reach them
