  1. Yes I agree but it depends on what Crouch wanted There are always two sides to every story But if Crouch really wanted to work with the other two getting this info in the Public domain is not helping
  2. I see there is no chance of a ceasefire then . You would have thought these so called leaders of our club would try and reach a settlement for the long term good.
  3. What like Harry?
  4. But Crouch's one main advantage is that he is not called Rupert
  5. That is because he appears to court publicity and is pally with the fans. If that is the criteria for a good chairman let him return
  6. I do like the quote Proven manager Burley and Redknapp were proven managers apparently but did not help us in the end Pearson was not proven in the Championship but did not get us relegated and is well liked here by loads of fans Finding a good Manager and keeping them is difficult as other clubs have shown
  7. I dont they can be recalled as we can not pay them and there is of course no guarantee that they will score the number you suggest.

  9. Chivers was a very good footballer good in the air and had very good ball control I saw him score a great goal in 1964 v Man Utd in the cup down the Dell at the Archers Road end beat a couple of players then hit a left footed screamer in the top left hand corner. Ossie was past his best when he came to us but in the 1960s he was a player people went to watch and paid money to see him. Likewise as you say with Worthington As Chivers is a Southampton Boy as well I will go for him
  10. Lady Saint I totally agree with you we should know. But he may just be a hanger on who knows Has no role at all just hangs about
  11. The thing is if you asked that question they could answer none but we dont really know what his role is if any so we need to ask a question to find out. For all I know he maybe just a hanger on
  12. Yes I agree but I do not think they are imprudent they are questions which are being asked on this forum in one way or another.
  13. Our transfer policy over the last few years has not been that good either That is why we are in the mire
  14. That will be a short news conference then
  15. My first one would be Are you sure Mr Wotte is the best person to save us from Relegation as no Manager with Championship experience seemed to be considered My second Is the current tactical formation which has proved so ineffective at home be changed where more emphasis is given to getting more players in goal scoring positions My third Why has Michael Svennson although very well liked as a player replaced Dave Hockaday and where has he gone My fourth Are there any other people involved in the coaching staff who have formally not been introduced including any Dutch Football Advisors and what are there roles My fifth Is there full support within the playing staff of the new regime and will this continue in the likely event SFC is relegated My sixth Could you explain why Jan left so suddenly after it appeared he was working hard to get the squad to perform in order to get better resultsi.
  16. Yes I agree but it is not happening it all seems to be get Lowe out which appears unrealistic Even at 20p a share they have sizeable investments obviously not as much as last year. Your other point is obviously the most important and would need the major shareholders to act sensibly for the good of the club .
  17. Arnold Muhren and thijsen
  18. I obviously understand where you are coming from and your desire to rid the club of Wilde and Lowe which long term is probably the best thing to happen . But continually making the usual remarks is not in my opinion assisting the situation . Surely the only way is to get all the shareholders to work together and somehow to resolve the situation. I cannot see why Wilde and Lowe will walk away when they have sizeable financial interests . If there is money available from Crouch and his group I would prefer that to be used to resolve the financial situation in the club and not be used to buy out Lowe and Wilde.
  19. I think he was having a go at Lowe So I dont have to boycott the People do I
  20. Sorry I have changed it
  21. I dont care if Wotte has an unpleasant reputation since Fergie does not always appear have a pleasant reputation but gets results. On your general point I have been wondering the purpose of your original post was but if talks are taking place surely that is positive. Is it 100% certain that JP was fired ?
  22. I did say maybe just a discussion topic I dont know Tactics Pressure to suceed all come into play They may relax away from home where they are expected to lose
  23. Hope is the only thing which keeps me going.
  24. Exactly right but this time last year very few would have complained if he went. But circunmstances today are completely different
  25. Shame we do not have any good strikers today. I think I even might have Keith Cassells in todays team
