Considering Rasiak is on loan for the season and Svensoon injured not a bad try
-
Absolutely right Vectis
-
A nice little earner I would have thought
-
Obviously if they were playing for us they would be scoring regularly

Question: Do you hate Lowe and Wilde more than you love The Club?
John B replied to Secret Site Agent's topic in The Saints
I am Sorry but I dont understand your response. I too find it strange that people hate others they have never met I can maybe understanding if they disliked I take your point about mangerial style and how they conduct themselves but that can only come from contact with them surely. People make wrong decisions all the time but that is life. I disagreed on the appointment of Gray and Wigley. I did not like the idea of Hoddle returning but that may have been wrong -

No I meant the Derby game itself During and after that game goals seemed to have dried up and that is the reason why we are the bottom of the League In that season goals were pretty good -

So am I but scoring goals at St Mary's has been a problem for sometime including the play off game v Derby Lawrie was in the past we must now look to the future and hope there is a pointless argument in years to come on the removal of a portait of JP -

Perhaps it was Mr Wilde's Decision -
Your position is a possibility but I would have thought not likely . Surely it is time we scored a goal and won at home.

He also did a Hoddle by leaving us in the lurch and going off to Sunderland. He obviously did well for us but that was twenty five years or so ago -
Yes I know they lost to SFC but as I said if we beat Burnley that will be excellent but unlikely I would have thought
-
If we win at Burnley that will be excellent as they have only lost once at home.
-
Lallana and James didn't have the measure of him. As you say, our finishing is just not up to the standard needed to gain us points. But maybe OK to stay up but not to be in top ten
-
Yes that is how I see it too but Sheff Wed is the key game If we win that one things will look a whole lot better.
-
Good shout, is he a striker that used to score goals at a price apparently too high for our financial resources. I would have thought if our finances had been OK he would not have been loaned out If we had to sell Lallana or Surman to get him back would that be OK? or is it too risky as his ability and confidence may have been hit?
-
Can we get at least 8 points from the next 6 games? If we can things will be looking better Saturday, 6 December 2008 Southampton v Sheff Wed, 15:00 Monday, 8 December 2008 Crystal Palace v Southampton, 20:00 Saturday, 13 December 2008 Burnley v Southampton, 15:00 Saturday, 20 December 2008 Southampton v Nottm Forest, 15:00 Friday, 26 December 2008 Plymouth v Southampton, 15:00 Sunday, 28 December 2008 Southampton v Reading, 15:00

I would love you to be right John returns and scores ten goal but lets wait and see. By the way at the start of the season where did you expect us to finish
-
I just thought he over performed last season like Beattie did in the Premiership Over thirty I would thought was getting old for a striker
-
No its not really twaddle you dont think the financial situation is as bad as the original poster which maybe the case. I dont think we will go into administration because the club wont pay high wages so I dont think Saga and John will play that much more for the club.
-
I think it can happen John is getting older but time will tell . If he was not on huges wages we would probably not having this conversation. Do you know when his contract ends
-
Yes you have hit the nail on the head there. I like Saga I think of the team last season he was probably the most skilful but if we have to pay him £120000 in wages and we dont have it well he cant play I would have thought and he would either be sold or loaned. But who knows what the financial situation really is
-
Could you state what is actually wrong with the post. It is no good saying it is twaddle without saying why it is twaddle. I thought he was saying it would be difficult to get an experienced striker because of the financial situation at SFC .
-
Yes Saga is an option but finances maybe a problem. But if John is not scoring at Bristol why will he score here. Early in the season McGoldrick was the main striker so John was not given starts
-
I dont see there is much wrong in what he said. Ideally if we had more money we may have had more experienced players. Rooney was not very experienced but scored goals for Everton
-
I understand what you are saying. Who would want the players you suggest.
