Handy Andy really is an extraorinary chap. Every day without fail he pops up in the Skate News, passing comment on something or the other - today he's commenting on whether his club coach might leave & how much one of his players wants if he moves elsewhere. He makes Harry Redflaps & Storrie-teller seem like a pair of Trappist monks with laryngitis by comparison.

Fwiw Charlton are currently in big financial trouble caused by signing players on £15k/week, just as we were having taken on too many on £10k in CCC. We can afford one or two (not a teamful) of £10k/week players now because we get twenty thousand attendances and are living debt free. Poopey on 12k crowds and a huge debt to service cannot, just like most of the CCC. It's simply more of the Android's fantasies.

Why does everything down the road seem to imply that a 'new' owner, aka Chainrai, is in place and pulling all the strings. It is quite bizarre, really.
