Not a bad guess, but not right
-
I jumped the gun a bit but here is my question
-
It rhymes with Nick and is short for Richard
-
****! Might be tricky to get this one through!
-
Hurrah! Now for a good one - how many players have made league appearances for Southampton since the war?
-
Arthur Rowley
-
Colinn Clarke?
-
Give us a clue - which decade?
-
It was Sergei Baltacha wasn't it?
-
Right on both counts
-
Not quite that scale of legend, but still well up the list
-
I'm pretty sure it was Glenn ****erill in 86. It was Tim flowers who went off injured. Was it Tony Knapp in 66

The stink of this just keeps getting worse http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/frattonlatest/Pompey-creditors-offered-20p-in.6326888.jp Especially this: The document states that the total paid back to unsecured creditors if the deal is approved will equate to £16.5m Thatis less than half the parachute payments ffs. Surely the biggest p1ss-take in the history of football
-
Can I ask my question again as we seem to have run out?
-
If it's time for a new question, here's one? Which two saints legends who made over 500 league appearances between them both made their full debuts in 7 goal defeats?
-
Prior to that Liverpool 16/1/99 & Everton 16/11/96 There is a long list of people who have scored 7 against us including Luton, Watford & Ipswich, but I'm pretty certain not Man U or Arsenal
-
Tottenham March 11 2000
-
I'm sure it was Hajto - yet another Harry Redflaps skicking two fingers up to the fans, taking one of the worst players to ever pull on the shirt (and a fullback, too!) and putting him in the number 7
-
What was the point of this? http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/frattonlatest/FA-reiterate-Pompey-Europe-ruling.6323225.jp The last paragraph is particularly instructive in the quote from the FA: 'In any event, in order for a club to obtain a Uefa Club Licence for the 2010-11 season they need to show that as of December 2009 they had no outstanding money owed to the tax authorities or football clubs. This is manifestly not the case for Portsmouth.' Also rather liked this shrewd insight from a poster: its us or Liverpool now we know the F A look after the top clubs , we always thought it but its clear to see ,

A few midgets/dawarves/elves for your team - Connolloy, Dyer, Walcott, Griffit, Sammy & David Lee, Danny Wallace, Banger, Austin Hayes & Tony Sealey And a few ogres - Jaidi, El Khalej, Dowie, Paul Bennett & John McGrath
-
And if anyone else is as sad as me, how about an East European team, an African team and a Commonwealth team?
-
After a bit of research, these are my best shots at teams for: Wales Paul Jones, Lloyd James, Alan Neilson, Stuart Williams, Gareth Bale, Andy Williams, Alan Curtis, Barry Horne, Jason bowen, Ron Davies, Mark Hughes Republic of Ireland Fred Keirnan Jeff Kenna, Alan Bennett, Tony Byrne, Tommy Traynor, Darren Potter, Rory Delap, Alan McLaughlin, Andy Townsend, Leon Best, Micky Evans + subs of Austin Hayes, Pat Earls, Eammon Collins, Stephen O'Halloran Northen Ireland Maik Taylor, Chris Baird, Chris Nicholl, blank, blank, blank, Jim Magilton, blank, Jimmy Shields, David Connolly, Colin Clarke

The longer this farce goes on, and the more Andy Android behaves like it's business as usual, the more it seems that maybe Chainrai has pulled off a clever old deal. If the CVA is agreed at 20p in the pound he will still have £20 odd mill change from the parachute payments and effectively for his £15 mill he will get a middle sized CCC club debt free and with some income to package up and resell in a year or two.

I particularly enjoyed this post..... .... and i saw storrie in gunwharf tuesday and he told me things going better then expected with new owner God, we'll miss him when he's gone

Not exactly a Saints legend, but David Speedie was once a useful player I believe. Also that Stephen Crainey playing for Blackpool played a couple of games for us and I had a suspicion he might have made an appearance for the Scots (not hard these days)
