  1. The more you read about this whole sordid story the more they seem like the unflushable turd, bobbing up time and again, a little more unsavoury and a little sorrier-looking than before, but still not accepting the inevitable.
  2. You old cynic
  3. I think it is becoming more & more apparent that Chainrai is still in bed with Gaydamak senior one way or the other. If Al-Faraj really exists (which is still imo doubtful) he has just been a dupe in the game being played out. Whatever his motives it is clear that Chainrai has significant ties to Gaydamak and that alone should make him fail the FPP test. But that ain't gonna happen, so it looks like they are saved if nothing else. Thank fook for Jonathan Greening is all I say
  4. Have you seen what they look like in Portsmouth - probably didn't fancy a six-knuckle shuffle
  5. I am still convinced that Gaydamak senior is and always was behind Pompey, and this whole saga has been about paying off his debt to Chanrai. Whether it is a brilliant masterplan coming to fruition or Chanrai getting well & truly stitched up is less certain, but there is no way that all of these mysterious people circling round the club are there at the invitation of the Arab 'owner.' Every one of them is linked, if by nothing else, religion, to Gaydamak. Why would a Nepalese businessman with no interest in football chuck money at a mess like Poopey. The one thing I do agree with the Skate fans over is the deafening silence from the Premier League. Everything about it is rotten to the core but all they utter are weaselly statements about clarifying the convicted fraudsters obviously pivotal role. I am convinced that their whole policy is based on praying for relegation, but if they don't go down it could get messier yet
  6. There is an organisation in Horton Heath looking to move their 'leisure' business I believe
  7. This is where nothing adds up. How can Gaydamak claim he is owed £28million and be relaxed about pushing for the £9mill due now whilst somebody completely unconnected in any way (yeah right!) has a legal hold over every asset of the club. The fishy odour emanating from this is so strong it makes me want to retch
  8. If Chanrai gets to own Fartton Park outright, what sort of rent could he reasonably expect from Poopey in the Prem or CCC? I gather part of Palace's problem is that Ron Noades owns the ground a probably charges them a fair old wedge
  9. With ants....
  10. Developing a fish-petting zoo is a little more complex - give it time...
  11. The whole point is that he knew he'd never see that cash anyway (& it's probably debatable whether he is truly owed it) but he and his dad will have cleared their debt to Chanrai when he takes possession of the club. Only the taxman and all the other creditors will lose out. I remain to be convinced that Al-Faraj even exists - even Jacob said he's never met him, only Storrie teller allegedly has - and the whole saga has been about the Gaydamaks and their financial woes.
  12. I read that bit with alarm, too. Gaydamak gets to square his debt with Chanrai, Pompey get away with shafting all their creditors & carry on as before. The way they have acted is almost as if they know they can't go broke. The only hope is some intervention from the PL, but we all know how brave they are......
  13. I would have thought one of you Hampshire boys ought to be having a word with your local Trading Standards office
  14. I still think Gaydamak is up to his neck in this somewhere. I also wonder if Al-Faraj REALLY does exist. All we have is a grainy picture of a man in a scarf and an alleged brother. How easy would it be rustle up a bit of dodgy paperwork and no-one would be any the wiser. A shell company in BVI actually owns Pompey - how does anyone know who owns that. My own little delusion of amusement is that the Gaydamaks really are all behind all of this and step in at the last moment and 'buy' the club for pennies have shat all over the creditors, and then, just as we all begin to despair the Premier League finally find some cojones and refuse to let little Sacha re-own the club as he fails the newly stringent Fit and Proper Persons test, thereby condemning the skatey ones to their deserved fate.
  15. Actually very many of us were concerned but it hardly felt like we were betting the house - it was only afterwards when we saw the bonkers salaries that the likes of Euell were on that we realised
  16. I agree - we will have had 9 bonus home matches in the various cups, 3 extra tv dates and that lot will pay most of the transfer fees. Also even if we were doubling the wages of guys like Hammond & Lambert, I bet those wages are still modest by CCC terms, and given our attendances/merchandising prospects we could surely pay double the wages that their former clubs could afford.(Plus I bet the two of them earn less than Saga did on his own.) From what we know of ML's m.o. he does not borrow and builds business incrementally, which is what is going on with us now, except we have had a bit of catching up to do as we cleared out the yesterday men and brought the ones Pardew wants in.
  17. You just know it's going to happen. They MUST be clinging on for something. I reckon they are trying to find ways round the FPP test for another oligarch to set up a new laundry to replace Gaydamak's. But given the PL's 'rigorous' approach I reckon Osama himself cold be named as new chairman & they'd say there is no footballing reason why he couldn't be in charge. (As a semi-sentient skate posted on their forum a while back - FPP is a joke, after all they passed Al-Mirage & he doesn't even exist!)
  18. If you saw South Today last night that berk who bought the PFC Ltd shell company was being bombarded daily with unpaid invoices and threats of the bailiffs. Presumably these are all from local tradespeople at their wits end. Surely somebody should be contacting Hampshire Trading Standards - if it was any business other than a football club they would have been ordered to cease trading by now
  19. According to Poopey on 606 they have signed Kezman & Fernandes till the end of the season - two big name, big salary players. At the same time South Today report that the players haven't been paid and did a feature on the bloke who bought their name fighting off the bailiffs. Something seriously doesn't add up. Are they just living in a PL-abetted fantasy world till it all goes pop next week, or are they living in a PL-abetted fraudulent world where they keep spending other people's money to cling on in the promised land until another gun-runner bails them out? Somebody please explain how this can be happening because I am getting seriously worried that we will look back on this magnificent thread & cringe at out own hubris as their new gangster-owner unveils Riquelme at the start of next season
  20. They then loan him back to Poopey & get James on loan in return. Simples
  21. I still have this nasty feeling that they are going to come up smelling of roses
  22. They must know already - they just don't care. The Premier League - the world's biggest money laundering service - sold its soul to Rupert Murdoch years ago
  23. Only if someone cleverer than me is able to forward it to them
  24. They were trying to get it overturned as he only played a couple of games for Ipswich on an 'emergency' loan
  25. It will be interesting to see if he genuinely expects it or whether it's another part of the convoluted Gaydamak conspiracy
