Lewis Hamilton should hopefully come last. He loves bring British so much he moved away the moment he started earning any money so he didn't have to pay any tax. Chris Hoy should win.

Ah crap, now I have to miss the speedway.

Announced yesterday that the New England Patriots will play Tampa Bay in the NFL's now regular London game next season. Very excited about getting to see what really is the team of the decade, and hopefully with Brady back fit and firing on all cylinders. They've really gone and found another good match up, between two well disciplined teams. Will be a lot different to this years game, I think. Also hopefully it will ruin the pitch again.

I like David Pleat. There, I said it.

Excellent move by the club.

Just wait and look on the website like everyone else, no good continually asking questions no-one can answer. As there is a strong possibility we might be on TV, or Hants police might decide that Pompey v Bristol City and Saints v Man U is too big a policing operation on the same day then the exact time of the game hasn't yet been determined, let alone ticketing policy.

1) Yes, by a mile. Didn't really look dangerious in first, but had plenty of good forward play in 2nd. 2) Who knows? Robertson played very well at Reading, but hasn't done so well against Plymouth or Charlton. 3) Yes, I'd be happy with DMG leading the line for the rest of the season, but he can also play in any of the other 3 forward positions, so a better balance may come along. But remember we have Lee Holmes to come back, and BWP hitting form, and Lallana and Euell to fit in, so hopefully there will be competition for places.
-
Odd because we looked far better in the 2nd half on Saturday when DMG was the sole player up top.
-
I have been more and more impressed with him every time I have seen him play. Although I'm not sure if he should start yet, he should be getting more time off the bench and perhaps get a start over the festive period.

Don't call me 'shortly'!!!!! (That gag doesn't work so well when typed, does it?!)

There is a soulless, plastic, wethies in every sodding town in the sodding country, all serving an equally crap breakfast. HTH.

He does not fit that description at all. He presents the shows and asks questions of the pundits. However, I am willing to admit defeat on the basis I have rememberedhe has a newspaper column, in which he writes as a pundit. However, I am not sure that your original post was intended to refer to the print media.
-
No he isn't. He is the presenter of that programme as well.
-
In what way are Jeff Stelling and Adrien Chiles "pundits"? They are merely presenters. If this list is allowed to include presenters then it should be made clear in the thread title. If it is not then I suggest you remove Stelling from your list. Until either of the above options occur, I will not contribute positively to this thread. Regards.

Tonight: Bath LD Annual Dinner Tomorrow: On the beer at London Bridge, then Charlton, then meet players afterwards at some "do" then home. Sunday: Play football, watch football, watch NFL, fall asleep. -
Anyone who uses Facebook should be deported.

Will you buy me a pint if we win?
-
Getting the 0913 from Bath I think, so will be in a pub in London Bridge by 11.
-
Apparantly the Buccaneers (!) will ride on Thursdays. If you click on the 2009 team page of Poole website it has Holder and DD there. No Craven Shield next season either, apparently. Disappointing if true as it meant I got an extra Poole meeting at Swindon.
-
I was watching the NFL. It was better.
-
Why on earth would you want to go to a soulless, plastic, wetherspoons, when you could go to one of the many brilliant pubs at London Bridge?

I think the everyone on this thread (with the exception of nickh and Stanley) probably has a greater understanding of the economy than George Osborne. I think that is the key point.
-
I don't think that there are many people here arguing that Labour have got the solutions right. What is the case is that Labour realise that something needs to be done, but the Tories would be happy to sit around and do nothing, and just don't have a plan as to how to deal with the current situation.
-
This is laughable and shows a total lack of understanding of local government. I suggest reading this thread and you can see exactly how stupid and serious a centrally imposed knee-jerk freezing of Council Tax by central government would be. Again, I make the more important point: the Tories have not (and will not!) say how they are going to stop local Council's been affected by this.
-
I don't know what you are laughing at as you are clearly confused. Council Tax is pretty much always going to need to go up by inflation, which is why freezing it is ridiculous. However, that is different from saying it ONLY goes up by inflation.
