10 points from that lot might be a tad optimistic given our propensity to utterly **** up those “must win” games. You know the kind, the club will talk it up all week, we’ll get the sound bites and training photos/videos and start thinking thecteam we’ll be well and truly up for it. Match starts in tepid fashion, we concede a comical goal and the heads drop.

I live in Quebec so my French is on point. Also, “grammer”

Tiny brains? Ironic, considering how many spelling and grammatical errors there are in your post.

Such a slog these last 2+ years. Conditioned to think great it’s the weekend and some football, then I see the teamsheet and it’s either uninspiring or clear that players are getting in on reputation alone. Then the game starts and wait for us to have a real go at the oppo and I wait and wait... We either, gona goal down and it’s over, showing no real desire to go balls to the wall to get a result. It’s as if the players just go “hey ho, guess we’ve lost this one, maybe we’ll be luckier next week” Or. We somehow score and then it’s just pure panic waiting for the inevitable to happen. And it usually does, right at the death when you have just started to believe we might win. We’ll usually miss a guilt edged chance right before or make a horrendous error to leave it on a plate for the oppo. It always leaves me with a “what if”. What if he’d just cleared that or let the keeper take it etc. There’s really no joy in supporting this club, they’re like a drug addict who just don’t want to get better. The brief highs are interspersed with much longer crushing lows. We’re dying by a thousand cuts, Aston Villa style. Dunno what else to say.

Same here. If we go behind it’s game over, if we go ahead it’s obvious we’ll blow it. Even our wins have had an element of luck about them whereby someone misses badly late on (Benteke) or we get carved wide open at the death and McC has to make a heroic save (Bournemouth). When did we actually last win a game in convincing fashion?

****ing sick of this. - Get thrashed by top 6 teams - No chance against 7-12 teams - Blow leads versus the rest Club is an utter head case at the moment 1 home win in 15 0 wins in last 30 vs a team in the top half (at time of playing) Won fewer games than Leicester City at St. Mary’s since last November 3 other teams will have to have really really bad seasons for to survive, and for what? Same **** again? Mistakes not being learned from in tactics, line up, signings and sellings. What a ****ing mess.

Something positive for the team. Gives him a good confidence boost, might rub off on the others?

I’m guessing fookin shoite!

Magpies fans must be utterly gutted, we know that feeling all too well. Their forums will be in meltdown mode no doubt.

3-2!!! Yes!
-
2-1. Come on Man U! *vomit*
-
Wow. Shocking miss by Matic. Even Long would have scored there.
-
Mourinho playing the Southampton way, countless free headers in the box. This performance is shocking.
-
Which one, Manchester, Newcastle or Torquay?
-
Oh ffs, Utd now giving Newcastle a leg up. After giving 3 pts to Brighton and WHU they’ll no doubt be fine when they face us.
-
I have Hazard, Kante and Alonso. So no doubt we lose 4-1 with none of them scoring or assisting, no clean sheet, yellows for Kante and Hazard and a red for Alonso this time.

That other fella’s team got mullered by Messi and co as well...
-
Oh dear, Napoli just beat VVD and co at the death...

Hughsie must have announced his line up to the players with Hoedt not starting. Don't understand the tantrum (if true), surely he has enough self-awareness to realize he's not played that well. I though the black box was supposed to keep us away from players like this (obv not, re: Wanyama, VVD, Osvaldo etc.) and steer us towards players that'll say "you're right gaffer" and then they up their level in training.

Love the comments from the whiny scousers at the end. LOL.

I think the Everton line up was pretty strong to be fair. We did well after riding out the initial storm but then again got nervous when trying to close out the game. Dunno why Davo was brought on. After that awful pirouette that allowed Watford back in at 2-0 up showed he is well and truely past it.
