Drinking a couple of beers is fine and I agree almost essential when watching Saints, but I have seen and heard of so many who can't seem to do anything without getting utterly sloshed at the same time, seems a bit pathetic really. When I lived up in Aberdeen I was talking to someone who I knew was a regular at Pittodrie and he often barely made it to kick off on time often arriving 20 minutes late because he wanted to get a few extra pints in before the game.

Is it possible to watch the cricket without getting trashed? Maybe go out after or before the game. Never understood the idea of getting paralytic at a sports event, when you fall asleep or forget what happened, seems a bit pointless.

Could never understand the treatment he got on here with all the "he doesn't look like he's trying/ doesn't look like he cares etc". He used to score goals for fooks sake, the whole point of the game is to score goals is it not?
