  1. Bart is dodgy, no question about that, I went to Rotherham last year. But a keeper who gives 2 away (without knowing the full circumstances of the penalty) isn't top drawer either.Probably just an off-night.
  2. Well of course not, but up to now it shows that the very structure of our side is all wrong. We will probably still come through but Southend will be a hard task and they might not just roll over as Gillingham did. Remember we beat Reading away last season as well, but we were still crap afterwards.
  3. why? we're 2-0 down and he was responsible for both of them (or so it seems) Bart couldn't do much worse and I hear he wasn't at all bad at Barnsley(well I think that was the bloke said, I don't speak Yorkshire so I might have got it wrong).,
  4. should improve our chances then;);)
  5. Concentrating on the League of course.Understrength side, injuries, ref, luck, you name it, they'll say it. The side we have put out;well it's not our "strongest" is it.
  6. Great, now they'll put 11 men behind the ball and let us huff and puff for a bit.Still shouldn't be too difficult to break them down.
  7. Never mind the scoring goals, does he do a good corner?

    Wotton

I shall wait before revising my opinion of Wotton until we play someone a little better than Gillingham reserves. Southend will tell us more (if he plays)
  9. Especially as he's on a short term loan from Fiorentina at the moment. I suppose they'd want us to pay money for him eventually.
  10. Georges Prost is running the formation centre at the Olympique Lyonnais, working with real real talent like Benzema and Ben Arfa in the recent past. Why we're talking about bringing him back when he's doing a great job at a CL club sort of baffles me.
  11. yep well you don't need so many to score against Saints. I'm beginning to think our "new look" defence is way overated.
  12. probably doesn't want to get crocked before international duty. He owes us nothing .
  13. but we are without Morgan, this game may just bring home to some fans just how important he is to the side. -Morgan+Wotton= a f*cking big difference
  14. In his piece on the game tomorrow Pardew talks about lack of results from the "second striker"/ If he's tallking about him then there must be one. I said at the time not to expect miracles from N'Diaye because he is a very run of the mill african footballer, which usually means inconsistent as f**k. You may note that some top sides have decided against the African Route at the moment, sure they're electrifying when they concentrate for more than 15 seconds at a time but they often don't.
  15. Sorry, I thought Harding was God nowadays so didn't dare apportion any blame to him.
  16. to date?? All I can see is that we need another 51 points or so from our remaining 36 games to just stay in the crap league. It's do-able but probably only just. We probably need to win 15 or so of those games and get 6 or 7 draws. Th margin for error has now become extremely fine.So we've won 1 out of 10 to date and that needs to change very quickly.Home draws are now no good to us at all. We need to tighten up the defence-again,because when we score 2 at home that should be enough. We need to get a proper right back in -now.
  17. the integral of e to the power of x:rolleyes:
  18. he was on trial somewhere the other day,Boulogne sur Mer (Ligue 1) I think. probably will get snapped up by them.
  19. Dogma is the name of the game.
  20. i think we only have 3 league games in November, so end of october is about the end of the line if we're not doing better, much better, by then.
  21. In fact it could go to minus 11 if (and that's a big if) Brighton were to win their game in hand.Imagine that 13 points behind Brighton and 11 behind Exeter after 10 games, meaning that they, the lowest of the low,had done better than us.
  22. What exactly has this season got to do with Rupert Lowe. He lost his deposit and moved on, we have a bloke with megabucks at the helm now and we're still walking in quicksand for the nth season running.Very few of today's side were actually here last season, there's a lot of new faces everywhere in the structure but the end result is still the same, 1 win out of 10 and 9 points out of 30.The Liebherr hand needed to go deep into the Liebherr trousers pocket and come up with 10 million to be spent on the side.
  23. i went out with one of those, made my d*ck rusty.
  24. perhaps today was the end of the beginning
  25. Probably a dab hand at championship manager 2006 or whatever it is.
