  1. Yes they do, but Luton and Rotherham would probably be OK with those prices. No point in agreeing £35 and getting 7 blokes and a dog in at the gate. the prices look similar to those Luton are asking for their replay with Rotherham
  2. Brian is in the Kitchen
  3. He could of course said that your mother is a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries.
  4. They probably found an 11 year old Bolivian orphan who was just as good for far far far less money.
  5. Anyway Morgan probably actually knows a couple of the lads in the French squad, he's not going to say well I hope England beat them is he.
  6. About a quarter of the population of L'Ile de France aren't French anyway. Paris apart from "les beaux quartiers" is a crap hole. You people in your estates like Locks Heath and Hythe just can't imagine what housing estate life is like in the Parisian suburbs, when I lived there I had a friend come in from Oz,he thought he'd got on the wrong train and ended up in Africa.
  7. Except for about 10% of the working population. Then again it's not surprising, you're better off at home with a family of 5 or 6 kids, subsidised rent,800 euros or so state handout (5 kids) free holidays, free sports activities all paid for by the poor mugs with only 2 kids earning minimum wage of about 1100 euros. They can't afford to stop the handouts because of the riots it would cause, they can't afford to create any jobs because of all the taxes the employers would have to pay to keep all the scroungers in luxury. Mitterand created this mess, unfortunately he snuffed it before he had to sort it out. France is a wonderful country, but not everything works, just the other day a postman was up in court because they found 400 kgs of undelivered letters in his basement, lazy bastard just couldn't be bothered to deliver them.
  8. Final to be played on the Common ? great idea ,where do I sign!
  9. Ricky Lambert is probably in charge of on-line sales:rolleyes::rolleyes:
  10. Felicitations to the club for the sensible pricing and recognising that there's a difference between committing yourself in advance and just turning up on matchday if you've nothing better to do.
  11. Receivership, don't think anyone can push you in to admin. It is a voluntary step (or so I think).
  12. Times are hard, I see some royal harpist or other got done for robbery and heroin use today.
  13. Hardly surprising though is it.He is finished as a front line striker, a super sub maybe.
  14. I think I paid about £40, mind you that was a lot of money back in 1971, I think I blew half of my first term's grant on it,the rest I just squandered.
  15. that old huh, even my first car had a letter after the number, A box Anglia it was ACR 71C or something like that.
  16. Lambert is a striker, he scores goals when you need them, that's what the job is all about. We haven't had one of those for a long time so I forgive you all forgetting what a "striker" is all about. So he didn't have a great game but he does what he's paid for-puts the ball into the net. Gerd Muller and Jimmy Greaves would probably get slagged off endlessly on this forum and get ratings of 1/10 every week.
  17. Wind Up Merchant of course;
  18. Good to see the meek have got something though.
  19. He probably wasn't ,just probably trying to get the ball into the net before the lino flagged. It's like kids with the high jump, if they can get off the mat before the bar falls it counts good, trouble is they spend so much time thinking on how to get off the mat quickly that they forget the technique necessary to get over the bar.
  20. Pain Perdu, beurrk, I hate soggy bread.
  21. It's Brighton all over again, apart from conceding goals of course.
  22. no point in him being on the pitch if he can't stay onside once in a while. Just gives them the ball to run down the clock with.Typical african second rater, no discipline;bags of flair of course but drowned in the mass of offsides and technical faults
  23. Pompey's goal was an OG by Petrov.
