The FL accountants can't be very forensic if they're not expected to see a gaping hole in the club's finances that hasn't been revealed to them though. Indeed it will, the money just doesn't go round like it used to. Why spend 5 million on a CCC player when you can get a 15 year old from Portugal for a third of that. How many CCC to Premiership transfers have there been this season? genuine question, not loaded.

Yes but Hull is out of the way and geographically isolated,Darlington must be about 25 miles from Newcastle,Sunderland and Middlesborough . Building a 25K seater stadium for an urban population of about 97K with 3 premiership clubs in easy access distance is just plain cranky.

We are longstanding loyal fans who actually watched Saints when they were atrocious and then again when they were really good. Nah, it was a sort of fruit machine ticket made of coloured thick paper that the supporters club sold to help the club back in the 70's. I used to sell them, Dart's Night at the BP was a real money spinner for the club. Probably cost 10p but I couldn't be sure on that. If you got 3 Oranges you made quite a bit I think.
