Dyer permanently to Swansea, keeps the club going.
Window Cleaner replied to derry's topic in The Saints
I thought it strange at the time, then again we have solar panels in our roof so I just supposed that the scanner had some sort of useful role in the matter. Did passport photos of passing sparrows or something. -

Who's talking about roof space, roof space was never mentioned, the scanner is in the roof, ie actually part of the structure protecting the erection from the infiltration of the elements. -

It's not in the loft, it's in the roof. -

would that be David Jones, Ken Tointon, or the tea lady?? -
I appreciate your realism and what you're trying to do, I'm just afraid that you've been led up the garden path and the end result would be realistically somewhere in the region of 150K and all your work and effort will to be no avail and you'll be made to look like a bit of an idiot.I notice that it's a very British trait these days, talk about money and how much you have and how much you'll put up but when it comes to anteing up it's all just talk.
-
This is right, there is a vast gulf between the "plastic pledge poll" on which the decision to get involved was made and the real nitty gritty prepare to ante up pledge site. I'm afraid that Derry has been led down the garden path by a lot of wags with no idea of donating real money.

with some sort of trail back to the person doing the clicking ? Can you identify the people who have "pledged" more than 5K? Kids click on anything you know.

Well what about if we couldn't afford to pay stewards, police, bar suppliers, programme printers and all that sort of stuff. If we owe the Police Dept money and they aren't willing to give us any more tick we couldn't get the match policed and it might not be allowed to proceed.

Not really, doubt that it will be more than 300K or so. -
Sounds like the kind of wheeze that got AIG into so much trouble. All they do is insure credit deals, like the one outlined above.
-
There are obviously buyers, probably aren't willing to part with enough cash to make their "potential" of any great interest to the creditors.
-
yes we did. It's very simple, when the league dishes out the TV money they automatically deduct from a clubs share any litigious amount owed to another club. http://www.thisisnottingham.co.uk/sport/Notts-McGoldrick-Best-cash/article-867113-detail/article.html

They really shouldn't have run that poll in the school holidays
-
I think there is confusion over us paying the league and the league paying us. The league distribute TV money and what have you, now I'm sure that when the Notts co stuff was going round the League said they were due to give us money but they would withhold part because we owed Notts Co. I am sure that as far as the Football League are concerned the whole shebang is in admin and they aren't giving us any of our handouts until it's cleared up.
-
Not unless they reduce ticket prices. In fact Burnley will be a crunch match for crowd figures. Assuming it's still a match with "enjeu" we'll see what the demand is at full price (unless there are reductions that I don't remember)

Don,'t start, we haven"'t batted yet. remember our abysmal start with the bat to last season?.got better of course but in April and May we were,in the main, woeful with the willow. See 7/1 already. Told ya 7/2

Yes go on everybody, let's see the 2 counters in accordance instead of an anonymous poll on this site showing 475 donors at nigh on a million and the real mccoy with names and pack drill showing 17 contributors and £28K or so, prove us doubting thomases wrong, you know you want to.

Where Will the Creditors Get Their Money From?
Window Cleaner replied to Guided Missile's topic in The Saints
Perhaps we weren't going into admin at all but then some fans kept on and and on and the directors just thought "well f*ck this for a game of soldiers let some of those moaning bastards sort it out". -
Looks like we're off to a decent start with the ball though. Worcs 120-6, did we actually have any warm up games?
-
Takeover Timetable? J+13 and nothing very concrete has happened, or on the face of it anyway. For reference we are now J+720(or so) on the Paul Allen takeover and...nothing has happened.

What's the deadline for forming a new club in time for next season?
Window Cleaner replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
How do you work that out? breach of contract because of salaries not being paid? won't happen. The first and foremost thing that will be paid is the player's salaries. Count on it. We've already got enough in to pay them up till the end of April.Plus several players are already being paid by other clubs. The admins aren't stupid enough to fall into the traps of not paying the "asset" players. The match income will be directed at them first. -

Winding up the PLC and it's subsidaries would mean everything could be sold, players, land, whatever have you. If SMS is secured on future ST sales and nothing else I guess Barclay's would get the lions share of everything else. I mean the club doesn't seem to have all that many creditors, BB want their money and I don't expect they give a toss how they get it. They usually don't. I know little of UK banks but from what I've read in the press Barclay's are one of the most aggressive when it comes to getting their overdrafts repaid. If we only owe them 4.1 million we have assets which will cover that, they'll make sure they get their cash by hook or by crook. If push came to shove I could see Aviva loaning us the money to get Barclay's off our backs. But then I'm not a city wide boy so perhaps I'm wrong there. -
Widdrington's gaffer then, Nick Holmes.
-
I'll blame George Burley for that then.Mind you I usually blame him for everything, tosser that he is.

Plus the bloke who got sent off on Monday.Central defender perhaps. Plus one of their central defenders got his 5th yellow on Monday, rules him out of the next game as well. All helps.
