  1. What motorway ?
  2. It would be ironic if a potential buyer could afford the £ but couldn't raise the £4.60 bus fare to get there.
  3. No, le club est baisé it's a past participle, if we were talking of a female gendered word like L'équipe (the team) it would become baisée.
  4. Baiser-colloquial french for f*ck. Je suis baisé-I am f*cked.
  5. Photocopier needed mending again then.
  6. What's Begbies Traynor's record like. Are they state of the art or the least onerous option??
  7. They talked about breaking their club record transfer of 500K for Dyer, however Martinez said they were in no rush. I doubt that 500K was ever really offered, just talked about. The club said we'd had only ridiculously low offers in January.
  8. When did we start playing in red shorts? bunch of Nancys.
  9. Nothing to do with the 35 million they got in from transfer fees a while back then. We should forget Portsmouth, they are in the premiership and have players worth stacks of cash to bail them out if necessary.
  10. whoever buys the assets of the PLC I guess.
  11. Right, I forgot that.
  12. doubtful actually, will depend which league we're in.He probably won't play in League 1.
  13. It really does depend what kind of floor limit the Admins are setting for looking seriously at offers. I believe it will need an ante of at least 15 million to sit at the table and I doubt if many prospective buyers are anywhere near that.
  14. 50/50. I just can't help thinking things may have been slightly different if the "Execs" aided and abetted by Crouch,Trant and Wiseman, hadn't kicked out Wilde after 8 or 9 months in office. That let them do whatever they wanted. Then Crouch tried to seize the ship and bring in Paul Thompson, there again another regrettable event that may have changed our trajectory even slightly and made a lot of difference at the end of the line. A compendium of minor errors which led to the overall tragedy. All this "infighting" eventually let Lowe back into the mix.
  15. Probably been talking to Fiddy who's representing Saints in this. In case you're wondering Michael Fiddy, Sport's Law practitioner of the highest ilk. Ex MD of Fulham and worked on the Leeds case.
  16. It's current theory in football, probably stems from Messi and Arjen Robben ,both left footers who are actually better down the right than they are down the left.As to why you'd have to ask a sports scientist, it's something to do with turning in when the defender expects you to turn out. Also the angle of the resulting cross has something to do with it. However what may be true for Messi,Robben and Van Persie is not necessarily applicable to BWP and Smith.
  17. We'll probably get a really decent fee for him, perhaps as much as 2.5 million. Pity but unavoidable methinks.
  18. have they signed Euell then?
  19. He'll play as a centre forward no doubt. Some even wanted that a couple of weeks back.
  20. Honestly you don't find too many golden boys hanging about in Millwall reserves. Why no Holmes, was "being fit" just customary bullsh*t then?r
  21. great, pity we lost on Saturday then,oh and went into Admin.
  22. he has deferred his salary, doesn't mean we don't still owe to him though. As far as I know he hasn't foregone his salary, just accepted deferred payment of it.
  23. I have been on Euell's case since he got here. Whatever he's done is irrelevant compared to what he hasn't done. He's garbage, end of.
  24. Heard it was bingo night.
