  1. Ouchy ouchy, somewhat erroneous to have faith in a pair of permanently injured central defenders like those 2.
  2. Somali pirates don't usually wear ties.
  3. They'll get a draw at least, won't go down. Plenty of really, really bad sides in the Prem, worse than Pompey even.
  4. I have more chance of getting gang banged by the Spice Girls than Saints winning their last 4 games.
  5. If only we hadn't lost at home to Charlton, yesterday was irrelevant, Tuesday was a fair result, last Saturday was a death knell.
  6. obviously, I keep telling you he probably isn't all that rich. Alimony probably saw off most of what he earned at Saints.
  7. we are but they're all skint.LLS what a joke, has he found the cash for Bournemouth yet.
  8. told you so:cool::cool::cool:
  9. Anyway administration is bad, it just lets the lunatic fringe pretend that they're important and are going to save the club with money which they don't of course have. People like to talk money, having it is something completely different.
  10. because we have too many "stars" in our side. They're paid too much for what they do which stops us hiring better players throughout the side. Trouble is our "stars" aren't any good, they just get paid a lot.Saganowski,Skacel,Euell,Surman,BWP £43000 a week and for what. I bet it that pays Plymouth's entire side. Plus they're playing Coventry who are crap, SISU or no SISU.
  11. I was of the most optimistic remember, losing at Charlton and going into admin have pushed me over the edge into the camp of the archpessimists. If we stay up on the field (which I doubt) the league will send us down. If we go down they may not impose a penalty.
  12. I don't think Plymouth's result affects us any more, only Forest, Norwich and perhaps Barnsley are of note. We're down anyway .
  13. Our early defending is awful, we're known in the whole wide world for it. Opposing sides know that if the turn up the wick really early on we'll probably crumble. Why?? I have absolutely no idea, I would think it's something to do with the mental state of the players rather than the actual football coaching itself.
  14. But they're still a couple of quid short so all fans,no matter what their employment status, should send at least £50 to the Nigerian Orphans Saints Purchase Fund, C/O Bank of Bullsh*t, Lagos.
  15. Let's hope it's not double time for bank holidays then.
  16. Not saying otherwise but from the 70 minutes of streaming that I saw he looked an absolute liability today. A central defender having a nightmarish game like that throws several spanners in the whole works. Against Charlton it was Saejis, today it was Perry, if the midfield aren't confident that they have a safety net behind them they don't always choose the best option for going forward, they choose the least risk option.
  17. Does it matter who plays, they've all been tried, they're all as ineffectual as the others. Put the names in a hat and draw out 11, that's the team.As long as we don't have a bi,strong presence at the sharp end other teams will hit on us because they know that there is nothing to stop them. I'd drop Perry, thought he looked poor today.
  18. Mills probably earns more than Molyneux.
  19. Probably because we watch the construction of the game rather than the end result. We could have had a couple of chances but Saga is too slow for the lads constructing things for him. The ideas are good, the final execution isn't. I have seen some decent passing and some good off-ball anticipation from some players, the fact that others around them are off their game means there's no end result but that shouldn't denigrate the work of some players.
  20. Lost confidence, there was a moment after about 38/40 minutes where the ball dropped to him on the edge of the box, the old Surman would have tried a first time volley from that, today's Surman tried to lay it of to a tripleteamed Saganowski.
  21. But the PLC went into administration so where were we supposed to get the money for loans from. I've been watching on justintv,we don't look too bad actually apart from the 3 goals that is.Saganowski lacks pace woefully though. Smith doing quite well but it's a bit pointless as our front men are always behind trhe game by about 2 yards or so. Once more it was demonstrated that attacking players should not tackle opponents anywhere near our penalty area. Looks like Father Time has eventually caught up with Chris Perry, fortunately LLoyd James has covered for him a couple of times.
  22. Saga's probably pretty worried about his future, probably has been for a while. I mean it's not as if he hasn't looked for other clubs is it? He's on a decent screw here, yet all he could find elsewhere was a walk-on part at Aalborg. I think the psychological effect of administration and impending doom on the players has been vastly underestimated on this forum. They've probably known it was going to happen for a while now.A lot of them are probably just trying too damn hard and the pressure got to them. It explains a lot of bad results and atrocious performances. Saga's been shoved around Europe for the last 2 or 3 years, probably wants a settled place somewhere, says he likes Southampton, but there may not be a future for him here now. I hear it's got to Morgan as well.
  23. So,he gives them half of them and a beermat and they'll be happy. Justice has to be seen to be done that's all.
  24. Wotte has to pay anyway.
  25. Apply the usual punishment, watching 2 Saints games instead of 1.
