  1. Urggggghhhhhhhhh,Groundhog day come August then.
  2. All this "Rupert will lose money stuff "is real tosh. His initial investment has been repaid times over ,albeit from work done for the PLC.Wilde will lose money, so will Crouch amongst others. They put up hard cash, Wilde may have been able to write a bit of it off because Merlion PLC held most of the shares, Crouch will get hit straight in the pocket region for nigh on 2 million £.
  3. I bloody well hope not, we don't need to be arguing about whether we should have loaned him out to ...... all next season as well.Watford won't give us 750K for him to be sure (although that would tend to indicate that he does have another year).
  4. They won't be coming back, both out of contract this summer I think.
  5. No money for Davis this summer, think he's out of contract. Saga ? well we haven't found a taker yet despite a year of trying so not so hopeful there McGoldrick will be sold for about 2.3 million and you'll all be really pleased. Schneiderlin will return to France for about 500K(cos he hates it here) and with the proceeds of those 2 sales Rupert will buy us an 8 yr old tyro striker from Paraguay.Surman may move on but Weston will no doubt inform us in due time.
  6. This is wrong, if we stayed up (but not 10 points clear of the last relegation place) we'd cop -10 at the end of the season and go down. If we go down anyway we'd cop -10 next season.
  7. And what style would that be then? They don't have any "style" whatever they had went out of the door with Pardew when he was replaced by the boot boy. Charlton got 13 points from their first 10 games this season, they've got 16 from the last 30.
  8. I've just noticed that when you look at an old thread your post count shows it's current value.Weird huh, I'm sure that Doc Brown probably explained it in Back to the Future III though. I think that was one of Dogman's first posts, although it shows as his 12th now
  9. They may be announcing the half-year accounts though. Must be about the right time.
  10. Same wag as believes the "Trust" control 3% of the total share issue probably.
  11. And so we will, probably by at least 4 goals, the lads won't let me down, seeing as it'll cost me at least £500 to be there and back at work on Sunday evening.
  12. One thing is guaranteed,we won't stay up on 46 points. Do your predictor again and put in some realistic data this time.:smt017:smt017:smt017
  13. Now I seem to remember(from the above) that McGoldrick came here in the summer of 2004, ie when he was 16. Would he have been able to sign a pro-contract with County at that age? There would be no theoretical entitelment to a fee if he didn't have a contract with them, we may have done "the right thing" by them and given them something (albeit over time) like Arsenal did with us for Walcott. But that we owe them 400K still for a league 2 unknown 16 year old is absolutely laughable, we wouldn't have promised them a quarter of that. Methinks the Notts Co chairman's nose probably got a bit longer after he said that.
  14. Anyway the timing of an eventual entry into administration is virtual immaterial, if we survive we'd get 10 points and go down. If we don't survive we get 10 next season anyway. To me the only way to avoid getting 10 points is not to go into administration, cos we certainly ain't going to get 22 points from the next 7 games.;).
  15. Also, if we thump (or merely beat) Charlton we could go to Watford having moved out of the bottom 3 for the first time in yonks, that would be a big mental boost.
  16. Well only 20 months older anyway. McGoldrick will probably move on this summer, we'll probably get a couple of million for him.May have already got a down payment, who knows, we must be getting money from somewhere and as it is categorically ruled out by the vast majority that the "board" will put anything in......
  17. Probably a bit more than that actually. There's the new BBC deal plus would I be right in thinking that if Reading and Birmingham go straight back up their next seasons Parachute payments are divided amongst the CCC clubs??
  18. Don't know, perhaps Longshot will bump into them at the bookies again soon and give us an update.
  19. that's because all the best players are concentrated in a handful of clubs nowadays. When watching anything but Liverpool-Man U you get the idea that you're watching second class football.
  20. hextalls, they even have a "sports insolvency" expert, Elizabeth somethingorother.
  21. Didn't help us not lose then. Am I right in thinking we'd have gone down if we had lost?
  22. I am sure the 30K plus crowd helped us stay up last season.
  23. Only 75%,surely not. My wife watched Sky News yesterday, Vulgaire Connasse was uttered but I couldn't say what about.
  24. I fancy us to give Wolves a good whupping, it's the sort of thing we do. Plus they'll be virtually assured of automatic promotion and will take their foot off the pedal.
